Hoo—

A large bird, entirely red in color, spread its wings and soared through the air, creating a gust of wind that cut through the clouds. It soon reached a bald old man suspended in mid-air. The immortal bird gave a soft cry and, along with the old man, flew toward the distant ground.

"So, you used magic to unlock the potential within his body?" The voice of the North Kai echoed across the pale purple skies of the magic planet, projected into the heart of the Holy Mage.

The wind howled in his ears. The Holy Mage glanced to the side, where Taro lay sleeping on the broad back of the red immortal bird. His eyes were closed, yet a faint expression of pain crossed his face.

It was hard for the Holy Mage to believe that the deity communicating with him was one who governed an entire universe. What was even more astonishing was that this god seed to be an old friend of Taro's. But when the Holy Mage thought about Taro's earth-shattering combat power, and the terrifying battle they had just witnessed, it all seed less surprising. Soone of Taro's caliber should indeed be able to converse with a deity.

The old man nodded, not speaking aloud but responding in his mind, - "That's correct. I used magic to unlock his potential. And this magic... I developed it because of Taro's inspiration."

Inspired by Taro?

The North Kai's mind suddenly clicked. It was probably the ability of the Grand Elder of Nak that sparked this idea, he thought. He rembered the Grand Elder's offer to unlock Taro's potential.

What surprised him even more was how this similar magic could multiply his power by several tis. If one were to rely solely on personal training, how much ti would that take? Perhaps... it would be impossible to achieve in a lifeti!

In that mont, the North Kai had many thoughts: What if... What if Taro mastered this magic and combined it with his bizarre Martial Immortal Fist? Could he then train entire legions of super experts?

Though he hated to admit it, the North Kai knew deep down that Taro's Martial Immortal Fist was superior to his own Kaioken.

On the other side, the North Kai couldn't help but be secretly amazed, but after a mont of reflection, he reasoned that Taro's increase in strength was probably due to his unique constitution and vast potential. Plus, his Martial Immortal Fist was truly strange—so much so that even a deity like himself had spent over a decade researching it and still hadn't figured it out!

"However, this magic is not yet perfected. The reason we used it was because we had no choice. The enemy beca too strong... If I hadn't used this magic, he probably would've been killed by the enemy, and we would have been destroyed as well!" The Holy Mage's voice once again sounded in the North Kai's ear, as though he were sighing.

Not perfected yet?

The North Kai had originally thought that Taro had simply fainted from exhaustion, but it seed that even now he hadn't woken up. When he looked again at Taro, lying unconscious on the back of the immortal bird, he could clearly see a faint look of pain on his face. The North Kai couldn't help but transmit a thought, asking: "What happened to him? Does this magic have side effects?"

"I'm not sure, but..." The Holy Mage's expression was filled with worry. "Using it before it was perfected might have caused so damage to his body. All we can do now is hope he can endure it."

Damage to his body...

The North Kai felt a heavy weight in his heart. For a martial artist, the body was the most important thing. Without a strong and healthy body, how could one fight? How could one pursue the martial way?

Is it worth it?

The North Kai stood on King Kai's planet, gazing at the distant magic planet. Taro, carried by the immortal bird, seed so fragile.

If he had just used Instant Transmission to escape, no matter how strong the enemy was, they couldn't have hard him. Why risk his future like this? What if his body is damaged...

The North Kai sighed inwardly.

However, what neither the North Kai nor the Holy Mage noticed was...

Lying on the back of the Phoenix, Taro's body was wracked with pain, as if thousands of ants were gnawing at his heart. His body, as the Holy Mage had predicted, was gradually deteriorating, with various functions breaking down. This was the consequence of forcibly unlocking his potential using an incomplete magic, failing to maintain the balance within the spell, leading to the negative effects.

However... as this process continued, in the howling wind, faint traces of natural ki subtly flowed from the air, silently rging into Taro's body. The peaceful energy eased his pain, nourishing his vital energy, which had begun to deteriorate.

The sky, the earth, the air, the oceans... all around him, this energy perated. In such an environnt, even the slightest movent, even the tiniest amount of ki entering Taro's body, would go unnoticed unless one was paying very close attention. Even soone as powerful as the North Kai could not sense it.

Suddenly, Taro's eyes snapped open!

His jet-black pupils glead brightly. The mont he opened his eyes, he saw the distant pale purple sky of the magic planet. Then, he heard the howling wind by his ears. In an instant, countless images flashed through his mind, and in the blink of an eye, he rembered everything that had happened before he lost consciousness.

At the sa ti, Taro's body, lying on the back of the immortal bird, floated upward. He rose into the air, detaching from the bird, and hovered, riding the wind.

"Aah!" Phoenix, seeing Taro finally awaken, let out a joyful cry.

Taro flew beside it, reaching out to gently touch the red feathers behind the bird's head. Then, he flew to the side of the Holy Mage.

"You've finally woken up." Ivan said, his expression easing. He paused mid-air and looked at Taro's slightly pale face. - "How's your body? Are the side effects of the magic severe?"

"I'm fine," Taro replied. He had no mory of what had happened to him, only recalling that he had felt pain, but now, it seed as though nothing was wrong. Then, he focused his ntal energy and transmitted a ssage. "Lord North Kai."

"Eh? You knew I was here?" the North Kai responded, sowhat surprised.

Taro smiled.

The North Kai also smiled. Being able to sense his ntal presence showed that Taro's spiritual training had made significant progress. Perhaps, in the future, Taro could contact him directly with his will. - "You're becoming more and more unfathomable. Your power has skyrocketed this ti..."

As he spoke, the North Kai noticed Taro's expression becoming increasingly serious. He asked: "What's wrong?"

"Lord North Kai." Taro's expression grew grim. He looked up at the vast sky as though seeing through everything, perceiving sothing approaching in the dark universe. He spoke each word carefully. - "Frieza is coming."

"Oh, Frieza is... what? Frieza is coming!?" The North Kai initially thought it was just a trivial matter, but he almost bit his tongue in shock. "Frieza!? How is he coming here!? How could he be coming!?"

Ivan looked confused. He had no idea who Frieza was, but seeing Taro's serious expression and the North Kai's uncharacteristically panicked tone, his own heart sank.

Could there really be soone more terrifying than the enemy they had faced before? And now, that person was heading this way?

Taro slowly spoke. "When we eliminated that enemy, at the last mont, he let his guard down ntally, and I saw\... so things in his heart."

He paused for a mont, retracting his gaze from the vast sky, and continued. "Whenever that person leaves, Frieza always follows. The battle here just now caused such a commotion, Frieza is bound to know about it..."

"Wait a second!" The North Kai furrowed his brow, his antennae twitching. He began scanning the surrounding universe from the magic planet's center... Soon, a disc-shaped spaceship appeared in his view!

His face imdiately turned grim. "It's true! That bastard Frieza... is really heading full speed towards you!"

Passing through the spaceship and entering it, the North Kai's view confird it—Frieza's devilish face appeared, his expression cold as he stared into the vast blackness of space, lost in thought.

"Run! Taro, you're not his match right now! Even if your power has increased dramatically... you can't beat him!" The North Kai urgently transmitted a warning. He considered Taro a friend and certainly didn't want him to die at Frieza's hands.

"What about them, though? If I leave, what will happen to everyone else? Frieza is coming because of —how could I just leave?" Taro shook his head. He spoke calmly; "I can use Instant Transmission to move everyone on this planet."

"Everyone? You're being naive! With Frieza's speed, they'll be here in five or six days! Five or six days at most. Do you think you can move everyone off the planet in that ti?" The North Kai believed it was impossible.

Taro turned to the Holy Mage, who was deep in thought, and smiled. "Ivan... Teacher, I think... you should be able to ntally connect with everyone on this planet, right?"

The Holy Mage was surprised; this was the first ti Taro had called him "Teacher." He shook his head. "I can. It seems difficult, but if you know how to do it, it's actually quite easy." He then asked. "Instant Transmission?" He suddenly realized. "You used that ability to get here, didn't you?"

Taro nodded and said: "I want you to connect ntally with everyone on the planet and gather them together... Let's set a five-day limit. In five days at most, we must start the transfer."

"Five days, huh... I'll try," the Holy Mage nodded. In his mind, he thought, if it doesn't work, he would have to risk his life and forcefully use telekinesis to gather everyone in one place.

"Where do you plan to move them to? With this many people, it's not sothing you can just teleport easily!" The North Kai now understood Taro's plan.

Taro smiled slightly. "I have a planet in mind that would be perfect for this... Lord North Kai, do you know the location of Yardrat?.
