"You want my blood?" Taro was initially taken aback, but then he seed to think it over as he stroked the old birds in his arms and asked, "You want to use my blood to stimulate their physical potential and extend their lifespans?"
The Holy Mage floated in front of Taro on the tree branch, smiling faintly as he nodded. His raspy voice spoke: "You're pretty much right... I've also incorporated so ancient rituals for transforming magical pets and made a few improvents."
Without further hesitation, Taro activated his Nine Tomoe Rinnegan and a mass of white Ki detached from his body. Under the control of his "Ki-shaping" eye technique, it slowly morphed into a white, bowl-shaped container.
After placing the seven birds back on the branch, Taro nonchalantly used his other hand to slash open his forearm, positioning the wound above the white Ki container.
"Drip—"
Bright red blood fell from the wound, and as it dropped into the container, it remained clumped together, not dispersing right away, but gathering like liquid rcury, heavy and dense.
"Indeed! Just as I suspected, your body's vitality is imnse, and the life force in your blood is extraordinary! This will make the ritual much more promising!" The Holy Mage marveled at the scene.
Of course, he didn't know that Taro's body had been completely transford with the help of the Dragon Balls, giving him a divine tree constitution far surpassing even the first Hokage's original body in vitality.
But as the blood fell into the container, the wound began to heal almost imdiately!
Hisssss...
The wound closed at a visible rate, and Taro's arm seed as though it had never been injured.
"This is..." The Holy Mage, shocked, didn't expect Taro's regenerative abilities to be so terrifying. Could it be that he truly had an immortal body?
Taro remained unfazed, having anticipated this outco. He imdiately reshaped his hand into a blade and once again sliced open his skin.
At the sa ti, as the blood began to pour from the wound, he slapped his other hand around the area, causing the blood to flow more quickly and in greater volu, spilling like water into the floating white Ki container.
The thick, rcury-like red blood soon covered the entire container.
"Alright, alright, stop!" The Holy Mage froze for a mont, realizing that Taro was essentially bleeding himself dry. He quickly called for a halt, taking the white Ki-ford container from Taro's hand. Looking at the heavy blood inside, he sighed. "That's enough, more than enough."
Taro didn't speak, letting the Holy Mage take over. The wound on his arm healed rapidly, leaving no trace behind as if nothing had happened.
Given his current body and power, this small amount of blood loss caused him no discomfort whatsoever.
"Take these little ones and follow ..."
The Holy Mage floated upwards with the blood-filled container, heading toward the sky.
Taro extended his arm, and one by one, the seven birds obediently hopped onto his arm, lining up as they always had.
"Chirp chirp..." They seed to sense sothing, bowing their heads and gently pecking at Taro's arm with their now-dulled beaks.
Without a word, Taro gently stroked their feathers as he levitated to catch up with the Holy Mage.
Along the way, he asked: "The magic to stimulate their physical potential... how far have you progressed with it?"
The Holy Mage, holding the blood basin, was buffeted by the wind, and with a rasping voice, he replied: "I think... in no ti, we can try it on you, haha..."
Taro couldn't help but recall a scene from the original story, where Vegeta, after being controlled by Babidi and unlocking his potential, instantly broke through from what seed like the Super Saiyan 1 full power stage or even Super Saiyan 2's early phase to Super Saiyan 2 full power. Taro remained silent for a mont.

The Holy Mage led Taro to a flat plain.
The ground was cleared, and on the smooth surface, an enormous, complex, and difficult-to-understand magic circle was painted with so sort of mysterious energy surrounding it.
"Is this the 'ritual' you prepared?" Taro, carrying the seven birds, landed behind the Holy Mage, imdiately noticing the magic circle.
The Holy Mage's ntal energy surged as he manipulated the basin of blood, guiding it with precise control. The blood, thick and viscous, swirled around in the air, floating gently above the magic circle as the birds settled within it.
Taro watched intently, sensing the deep concentration the Holy Mage was exerting. He could feel the magic in the air growing stronger, the air itself charged with an unusual energy.
"Now." The Holy Mage muttered, his voice low and reverberating with power. He gestured with his hand, and the blood within the basin began to glow with a faint, ethereal light.
The seven birds, though aged and weak, instinctively spread their wings, their bodies glowing faintly with an energy that seed to resonate with the ritual. The magic circle beneath them began to pulse, its intricate runes shifting and glowing with vibrant colors.
Taro stepped forward, watching the transformation unfold before his eyes. The birds' feathers began to shine once more, the dullness fading as they absorbed the vitality from the ritual. Their once-withered forms appeared to gain strength, their wings moving with greater ease.
The magic ritual, though filled with uncertainty, was beginning to show results. Whether it would be enough to save the birds' lives, or even alter their fate in ways they couldn't yet understand, was still unclear.
As the ritual reached its peak, the Holy Mage's voice broke through the focused silence.
"Hold steady." he said, his tone filled with both anticipation and caution. "This is the mont of change."
Taro's gaze shifted to the birds, now shimring with vitality. It was as though ti itself had paused around them, waiting to see what would erge from this extraordinary attempt to defy nature.
The blood basin floated upwards, slowly tilting. The heavy, rcury-like crimson blood cascaded down, seeping into the intricate lines of the magic circle.
Woom—
Woom—
It was as though sothing had been triggered. The viscous blood rushed quickly to fill every line of the magic circle, staining it with a deep red. At the sa ti, the life force hidden within the blood began to rise, drawn upward by the mysterious powers at work.
"Pembala, Womira..."
The Holy Mage muttered incomprehensible incantations, words Taro had never heard him explain. In the next instant, the magic circle on the ground burst with a brilliant light!
The light rose from below, forming a destructive column of fire that shot into the sky, engulfing the seven birds in the magic circle...
Taro squinted his eyes but did not move, quietly observing.
There was no sound from the fire column, nor were there cries of pain or relief from the birds. It was impossible to tell what state they were in. All Taro could make out through the fire was their silhouettes, faint and flickering.
Soon, Taro keenly noticed a shift in the subtle life forces of the birds. They began to rge into a singular presence...
Almost simultaneously, as Taro sensed the change in the birds' life force, the fire column began to shrink! More precisely, the massive magic circle on the ground contracted, gradually drawing inward as though focusing on a single point.
The magic circle grew smaller, and the fire column narrowed as well, until it finally ford the outline of a massive bird!
A long, resonant cry echoed through the air!
The fiery bird soared into the sky!
"It looks like it worked..." The Holy Mage finally showed a slight smile, lifting his gaze toward the flaming bird joyfully flying through the air. It seed so free, as if reborn from the flas, immortal.
"How did they beco one?" Taro asked, also looking up.
At that mont, the flas surrounding the great bird suddenly burst outward, revealing a magnificent creature resembling both an eagle and a roc. Its feathers were a fiery red with golden streaks, vibrant and striking. The newly reborn bird circled in the air, glanced down at Taro, and let out a loud, joyous cry. It imdiately flew toward him.
A wave of ntal power poured from Taro's mind, forming a steady force that countered the bird's montum, gently bringing it to rest on his shoulder.
The Holy Mage glanced down, noticing that the elaborate magic circle he had created with rare and precious materials had vanished without a trace, as though it had never existed.
"Now, the magic to unlock human potential will be even more reliable... Hmm, a few of the side effects still need to be carefully considered." He murmured to himself. Then, he turned to Taro and saw the extraordinary bird perched on his shoulder. A faint smile crept across his face. "Perhaps we should call it the 'Phoenix' from now on."
"Phoenix?" Taro was surprised. It reminded him of the so-called 'Phoenix' of the Turtle Hermit in the original story, though that bird had died from food poisoning before the story began.
What a coincidence.
Taro turned his head to look at the large bird on his shoulder. The fiery-red Phoenix affectionately nuzzled his face. However, Taro did not respond. His eyes narrowed slightly, and his expression suddenly beca calm, even cold.
"After waiting nearly twenty years, have you finally arrived?"
He tilted his head, his gaze sweeping past the Phoenix on his shoulder to the distant horizon. There, against the pale purple sky, two white streaks resembling falling teors descended from the heavens!
