What is the origin of the Sharingan?

The Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan? The Rinnegan? The Mangekyo Rinnegan?

None of these.

It is the God Tree.

Long ago, when Kaguya Otsutsuki consud the chakra fruit of the God Tree, she awakened the third eye on her forehead—the so-called nine tomoe Rinnegan. Later, she devoured the core of the God Tree, the Ten Tails, and attempted to use Infinite Tsukuyomi to eliminate the entire world.

Boom! Boom!

Taro's chest throbbed, and his aged heart beat again, stronger than ever, as if it were being reborn. No, it was even more terrifying than rebirth, because even in his youth, his heartbeat had never been as powerful as it was now.

A surge of life energy filled his body, spilling outward and spreading throughout the surrounding space.

"What's happening to him?" Dart exclaid, astonished, not understanding why Taro's wish had caused such an incredible transformation. His eyes? His bloodline? What was going on...?

Dart, of course, didn't understand the secret of the Sharingan, but one thing was clear to him.

Firstly, Taro's appearance was visibly becoming younger at an astonishing speed!

Secondly...

"His aura... it's stronger..." One of the warriors of the tribe gasped in surprise. He couldn't believe that this Earthling, whose aura had been so weak just monts ago, had already defeated Dart. Now, he had grown even stronger?

The Great Elder was also observing Taro. He watched as Taro, now looking like a young man under twenty with black hair, muttered to himself. "This aura... it's so closely connected to nature... It's sowhat similar to our Nakian energy..."

Finally... it had succeeded.

Taro felt as though he were bathing in the womb, waves of satisfying sensations continuously coursing through him. It was a feeling filled with strength and potential. If his old, weary body just minutes ago had been like decaying wood, now, at this very mont, he had transford into a vibrant and divine tree full of life.

Taro raised one hand.

Whoosh.

He casually slashed his other arm, and before much blood could even flow from the narrow wound, it began to heal at a visible rate. The wound was closing up before his very eyes.

A regenerative ability more terrifying than the First Hokage, Hashirama Senju!

The Nakians present all widened their eyes in astonishnt. This terrifying self-healing power was sothing even they, as Nakians, did not possess! While they could regenerate missing body parts, it was more like a lizard regrowing its tail, not true healing power as Taro exhibited. When their limbs were severed, they bled like anyone else. Only by cutting off a limb could they regrow a perfectly new one.

Taro looked at the now unblemished arm, a faint smile appearing on his face. However, at that mont, he narrowed his eyes, a sharp, painful sensation pulsing in his mind.

His eyes had now beco the nine-tomoe Rinnegan.

Perfect, flawless eyes.

Eyes that would never go blind.

However...

He winced, letting out a soft grunt, and imdiately closed his eyes tightly. After a brief pause, he opened them again, and they had returned to their deep black pupils. The nine-tomoe Rinnegan... these powerful eyes, born from the God Tree's fruit, drained his spiritual energy just by being active.

The Great Elder noticed Taro's changes: His eyes have changed... Has it beco stronger?

He then asked. "What about your second wish? Earthling, the Dragon can grant you three wishes."

Taro, his spirits lifted, felt an aura of confidence. His features—thick brows, large eyes, and black hair—seed to radiate youth. Even his skin, which had previously shown signs of sagging, was once again firm and tight, making him look no different than a young man in his twenties.

Taro spoke, his voice now no longer old and frail, but deep and resonant, the voice of a mature man. His second wish was: "Make my body capable of surviving in the vacuum of space."

He certainly didn't want to face Frieza and have any disadvantages when it ca to surviving in space. Such a flaw could be fatal in a life-or-death battle. After all, wasn't it this very issue that nearly led to the death of Super Saiyan Goku at the hands of Frieza?

Even soone like him, who was reluctant to rely too heavily on the Dragon Balls, had no choice but to make a wish to resolve this problem. It was a natural limitation, sothing that couldn't be fixed through personal effort, at least not at the mont.

The Great Elder nodded. This wish was not difficult. He looked up and, in the Nakian language, relayed Taro's wish to Porunga.

In the dark sky above, Porunga once again spoke: "This wish... is very simple..."

Buzz\~

A light flared once more from Porunga's red eyes.

The next mont, Taro imdiately noticed a change.

"What is this...?"

Taro pressed his hand against his body. As a martial arts master, he knew his body well. He could clearly sense that, under the influence of so mysterious force, his body—now filled with life energy—was undergoing subtle changes. It was a strange sensation, hard to describe.

What was easier to describe was that... it felt as though a new organ had appeared in his body—sothing that was part flesh, part energy!

Taro pondered, taking a deep breath and holding it in.

With his terrifying perceptive ability, he imdiately noticed that the "new organ" inside him had begun to function as soon as he stopped breathing. It absorbed and digested a small amount of vital energy from his body, transforming it into the necessary elents and energy for his survival, creating a perfect balance of consumption and feedback with his internal energy.

Taro could feel that if he were in space, as long as he wasn't in a battle and his energy didn't deplete, he would no longer need to breathe. This new organ would sustain his life function entirely.

However... space wasn't just an issue of oxygen. There was also the problem of the vacuum and lack of pressure.

Taro clenched his fists. He would have to test that later.

"It seems the wish has been granted." The Great Elder watched Taro's subtle changes in expression, smiling slightly. Then he asked, "So, what about your third wish?"

Taro smiled. With the completion of his two major wishes, it was hard not to feel relaxed and pleased. He looked up at the massive Dragon, which had fulfilled his greatest desires, and spoke his final wish:

"Dragon, please tell , where is the best place in the universe to cultivate spiritual power? Reveal its location to ."

He pointed a finger at his temple.

Spiritual power?

The Great Elder pondered, recalling the strange events that had occurred with Taro, and his mind lingered on Taro's peculiar eyes. Did those eyes put great strain on his spiritual power?

Soon, the Great Elder spoke the wish aloud.

"This wish... is very simple..."

A planet's location was firmly imprinted in Taro's mind.

anwhile, on King Kai's planet, North Kai sighed again. "That old man..."

\---

The vast sky of Nak was once again bathed in light, the night vanishing after the wish was granted. Porunga disappeared, and the seven Dragon Balls turned into white, useless stones.

Taro floated in the air, surrounded by seven colorful birds.

In front of him stood the Great Elder and his guard, Datt.

"I've always been curious," Taro finally asked. "Why have you helped so much? After all, to the Nakians, I'm just an outsider."

The Great Elder smiled on his aged face and replied: "I once made a wish to Porunga, asking him to tell the future of Nak." His cloudy eyes seed to drift back in ti. "He told that Nak would fall into an unprecedented crisis in a few hundred years."

Frieza, Taro thought quietly.

The Great Elder paused. In the surprised gaze of his guard, Datt, he continued. "In order to protect our holand, I made a third wish to the Dragon—grant the ability to see future visions in my dreams."

Seeing future visions? The words sounded familiar...

Taro remained calm and asked: "Did the Great Elder see saving Nak in the future?"

The Great Elder looked at Taro, shaking his head. "Originally, no. In my dream, the one who saved Nak was a golden-haired warrior... But I don't know when, but from so point onwards... that dream beca what you said: it was you, leading a group of remarkable warriors to save Nak's fate."

Taro fell silent.

After a long pause, he looked at the Great Elder and asked his final question:

"I've heard that Nak once faced a natural disaster that almost led to the extinction of the entire planet... In that disaster, was the Great Elder the only one to survive? Earlier, you ntioned two wishes—was the first one to restore Nak's environnt?"

If the Dragon Balls had that power, why didn't you wish for it before the disaster completely erupted?

The Great Elder fell silent for a long ti. Taro waited quietly.

Dart remained still beside the Great Elder, his expression calm.

Finally, the Great Elder spoke, his hoarse voice like a whisper from an ancient ti, distant and uncertain: "At that ti, there were very few Nakians left... and they were all ''. It was 'I' who created the Dragon Balls, to bring Porunga into existence, and made the wish to restore Nak after the disaster."

Fusion... All the surviving Nakians fused together to create a more powerful Dragon Ball, becoming the current Great Elder, and saved the dying world? No wonder the Great Elder was so unique and powerful.

Taro understood now, no longer questioning.

"Young man, I can feel the terrifying potential within your newly restored body..." the Great Elder said. "I have the ability to help you unlock it, as a way to thank you for protecting Nak."

"No need!"

Taro laughed. While unlocking his potential was undoubtedly beneficial, what if the Great Elder casually touched his head and discovered the secrets of his ti travel? That would be disastrous.

In the end, the Great Elder and Dart watched as Taro flew into the sky, with his seven birds, disappearing into the distance.

Sowhere at the far end of the universe, on a distant planet.

An ancient being, who had been asleep for an unknown period, finally woke. His hair and beard were as white as snow, his skin loose, covered in wrinkles.

He lifted his heavy eyelids, revealing his gray eyes. Despite his frail appearance, his eyes were clear and sharp, as if they could pierce through one's soul, drawing all attention in a single glance.

In the dim room, the ancient sorcerer, who had lived for an unfathomable amount of ti, spoke in a quiet, distant voice:

"Premonition dreams... have changed... the world's end... those two demons... will anyone save us... that figure... who is it... Mu... Mu..."
