"...My na is Goku. I'm also Kakarot!..."
"...I co from a warrior race called the Saiyans. We're aliens from space!..."
"...Saiyans are born fighters, with an innate craving for battle and growth. Our bloodline allows us to transcend our limits after surviving near-death injuries, gaining power tenfold, dozens of tis stronger!..."
"Among the Saiyan people, there's also a legend known as the 'Super Saiyan'!"
"...To beco a Super Saiyan, there are a few prerequisites! First, your base battle power must reach the advanced planetary level. Second, your heart must be pure and your will unwavering. Third, you must ignite your transformation with a rage strong enough to break your limits!..."
"...The power of the Super Saiyan originates from an ancient godly ancestor of the Saiyan race—an ancient ultra-warrior who achieved divinity through the godhood of wrath. While the descendants of the Saiyans inherit great power through this atavistic potential in their blood, they must constantly reflect on themselves, remain grounded, and never lose themselves in the extre anger and violence of the Super Saiyan state..."
"...Only when a Saiyan can retain clarity and self-control even in Super Saiyan form—when eating, sleeping, walking, and acting becos indistinguishable from daily life—can that be called the 'Full Power Super Saiyan' state, a realm beyond the basic Super Saiyan..."
"...Once you attain Full Power Super Saiyan, you stand before the wall dividing you from the next level—Super Saiyan 2! And to enter that realm, the key lies in a transformation of the soul!..."
"...Beyond Super Saiyan 2, could there be a Super Saiyan 3, a Super Saiyan 4, or perhaps a complete atavism that draws on the divine ancestry within and ascends to the form of a 'Super Saiyan God'? That remains uncertain..."
Goku stood still, lost in thought, in the shaded side of Ka House. The building's shadow cast over him, while the sea glittered in the distance and flickering sunbeams danced through swaying trees, making his face shift between light and dark.
Visions flickered before his eyes like illusions.
Taro's gentle voice guided Goku's consciousness through the dreamlike scene, allowing him to glimpse the path of the Saiyans like flickering shadows. Goku followed him like a curious child thirsting for knowledge, walking step by step through a corridor that seed to span across ti and space. Along the way, he glimpsed the silhouettes of strange and unknown creatures.
"The universe is vast, and there are many powerful beings... Although I've already dealt with your Freeza, there may still be other hidden masters out there." Taro waved his hand past Goku's eyes, waking him from the illusion. He had said "may be" because there was no way to be certain this universe didn't contain characters from the movie-based alternate tilines.
Even Taro himself, standing in his main tiline, couldn't be sure of that. What if one day a monstrous freak nad "Broly" popped up out of so forgotten corner of the universe? Or what if, after the events of the original manga ended, the tiline diverged—not into "Battle of Gods", but toward the GT storyline where Super Saiyan 4 exists?
Still, at least he, Taro, would continue to exist in the main tiline. No matter what ergencies or surprises arose, he could handle them.
But in this parallel tiline, due to Goku's personal fate—and Taro's interference—many events would no longer happen as they originally should. If things had been left alone, perhaps Goku would've remained forever trapped by the limits of an "Earthling," never breaking through into the Super Saiyan realm.
And yet the strength of the Androids wouldn't necessarily disappear or weaken... Androids 17 and 18, who could easily defeat an early-stage Super Saiyan. Android 16, who rivaled the Trunks and Vegeta duo after their first ti in the Hyperbolic Ti Chamber—if beings like that showed up while Goku was still stuck at battle levels from the Saiyan Saga, the despair would be unimaginable.
Not to ntion... Cell. Or Majin Buu.
Goku slowly ca to his senses but remained dazed for a mont—the amount of information Taro had poured into him was simply overwhelming.
"No matter what... thank you, Grandpa!" Goku said sincerely, a joy rising from deep within his heart. "I never knew power in this world could reach such heights! I never imagined... it could be this amazing!"
Taro nodded, thought for a mont, and said, "One last reminder. Until you've reached the level of Super Saiyan 2, no matter what happens—you must not let Earth be destroyed by outside forces."
He stomped the ground lightly and added, "Deep beneath Earth lies a sealed ancient and suprely evil magical creature. If Earth is destroyed before it has sufficient power to resist, the massive energy of its explosion might awaken that demon prematurely..."
Goku's face filled with shock. After a mont's thought, he nodded solemnly. "I understand! I'll do everything I can to protect Earth!"
Taro smiled faintly and patted the much taller Goku on the shoulder. "Grow well, child..." he said with a sigh, then stretched out a finger and tapped Goku on the forehead. With the force behind his finger, Goku was pushed two steps back, and by the ti he steadied himself, Taro had vanished.
Goku rubbed his forehead—it felt like sothing had been implanted into his mind... but he couldn't quite grasp it just yet.
anwhile, inside Ka House—
"You want the Dragon Radar?" Bulma stared in surprise at the gray-haired man who had appeared out of thin air. His voice stirred sothing in her mory. "You're the one whose voice I heard when I was brought back to life? The one who placed the Four-Star Ball beside ? The one who told to do what I was ant to do? The one... who revived ?"
She fired off a stream of questions in quick succession, her mind racing as she spoke.
Taro neither confird nor denied any of it. Instead, he glanced at the baby lying in the crib next to her—Trunks, whose eyes shone with innocence—and then said, "You could start researching high-gravity training rooms. When Goku hits a wall in his training, they'll be extrely useful..."
As he spoke, he located the Dragon Radar Bulma had stored away. With a wave of his hand, it floated to him through the air.
Bulma stared, dumbfounded. Everything this mysterious man said baffled her. But strangely enough, even though he had just "stolen" the Dragon Radar, she felt no anger or resistance. Only after he gave her a deep look and vanished did Bulma finally snap out of it.
"Gravity... training rooms, huh? That might actually be a good idea... I bet Goku would love it," she muttered, stroking her chin. Just then, Trunks suddenly burst into tears. She shelved her thoughts for now and turned to gently comfort her baby.
Not long after, outside the house, the teacher and his disciples looked up in astonishnt as the sky suddenly turned black.
