Planet No. 2.

Central City.

Central Control Room.

A massive wall, over a hundred ters long and ten ters high, was covered entirely with screens displaying different images. The entire wall was divided into over five thousand sections, each screen providing real-ti surveillance of all the populated cities on the planet. Any signs of disturbance would imdiately trigger the deploynt of enforcers to suppress the issue.

Below this surveillance wall, dozens of extraterrestrials, all wearing white lab coats and varying in appearance and physique, moved about the room. So carried docunts, hurrying back and forth, while others sat at control panels, operating systems and monitoring their designated sections of the five thousand screens.

Just then, the door to the Central Control Room swung open, and in walked a rather corpulent extraterrestrial. This being resembled what Earthlings might consider a toad, with bumpy, dark yellow skin that glead under the artificial light. Whether the shine was due to grease, the natural dampness of toad-like skin, or sothing else entirely was uncertain. For convenience, let's refer to him as the Yellow Toad.

The mont he entered, all personnel in the control room stopped their work. So turned their heads, others stood up or bowed in greeting.

"Lord Quiloza!"

"My lord!"

"Hmm." The Yellow Toad gave a nonchalant nod, his eyes lazily scanning the five thousand screens in front of him. The kaleidoscope of images was enough to make his head spin. Regaining focus, he asked his routine question:

"No major issues, I assu?"

"No, no, nothing serious. Just a few troublemakers in New Santra City causing a scene," reported a subordinate, whose deanor was overly obsequious Although the yellow toad in front of him looks unremarkable and looks like a pile of fat garbage waiting to die, he is the boss's closest confidant!

And who was their boss?

One of the wealthiest individuals in the entire galaxy. A being of a rare and long-lived species, he had already survived for centuries, far exceeding the average lifespan of most lifeforms. Rumor had it that even before Frieza's reign, back in the era when King Cold dominated the universe, their boss had already been one of the most powerful tycoons in the cosmos.

Now, he was among Frieza's most significant business partners in the planetary trade enterprise.

No one knew just how much backing Frieza provided their boss. For all they knew, he might even have command over so of Frieza's elite forces. Their boss was a shadowy figure, rarely seen in person. As the appointed overseer of Planet No. 2, the Yellow Toad essentially acted as the grand steward. Naturally, the researchers and lower-ranked workers had every reason to curry favor with him—especially those in the lower echelons.

"Heh, must be so rookies who just started their little space adventure," the Yellow Toad confidant chuckled, glancing around. "Daring to stir up trouble on boss domain? Even King Cold's n wouldn't have the guts to try that."

"Exactly!"

"That's right!"

"Anyone who knows our boss's status wouldn't dare cause trouble here!"

"King Cold's influence is long gone. This is Frieza's era now, and our boss has a strong connection with Lord Frieza. King Cold's remnants wouldn't dare challenge us!"

The room echoed with sycophantic agreents. Whether their words held truth or not was irrelevant—flattery always ca first when working under such figures.

"After they caused the disturbance, it seems they overheard so warnings from an old-tir and attempted to flee," reported a more diligent worker, an insectoid extraterrestrial resembling a locust. "However, an enforcer has already been dispatched. Those few should be eliminated shortly."

The Yellow Toad clapped his hands in satisfaction. "Well done! Let those pigs understand..." His expression darkened as he sneered, "Whose territory this is!"

The unremarkable, corpulent Yellow Toad spoke in an unusually cold tone, his words laced with an unsettling, almost nauseating scent of blood. Several people in the room felt a sharp jolt in their hearts, silently muttering to themselves: What terrifying presence... He usually seems so harmless, but who would've thought he could be this frightening? Is this a warning to (us)?

"I know," the Yellow Toad continued, his beady eyes flashing with an icy gleam as they slowly swept across the room. Any alien he laid eyes on instinctively lowered their head. "There's been an anomaly in the boss's data on Planet No. 1, and so of you have started having thoughts you shouldn't."

His voice was eerily calm. "The boss doesn't care whether you're loyal or not—as long as you do your job properly. I don't care either. But... you'd best not let catch any of your little tricks." His tone darkened as he sneered, "Otherwise... hmph."

He let out a chilling chuckle before turning his gaze back to a screen displaying an enforcer moving through the night. "Enforcers..." he muttered. Then, with a cold glint in his eyes, he added, "I'll show you what a real enforcer is." His words were laced with unmistakable nace, and as he spoke, he cast a few deliberate, warning glances at those who had lowered their heads the most.

No one dared to speak.

So he really does have stronger enforcers hidden away! So scread internally but kept their expressions neutral, fearing their thoughts might be noticed. Others made quick ntal calculations: So the boss's research on Planet No. 1 isn't compromised after all? This is too risky... I should back off.

Satisfied, the Yellow Toad nodded and was about to leave when—

"Huh?"

A researcher suddenly exclaid in surprise, staring at the screen the Yellow Toad had just been watching. The display had turned to static.

"What happened to the feed?"

"Wasn't this tracking the enforcer? Why did the signal cut out?"

"Did he enter so kind of dead zone?"

"Are you kidding? There's no such place on Planet No. 2!"

As the Yellow Toad turned back around, the tension in the room skyrocketed.

The supervisor imdiately roared at his subordinates, "What are you standing around for?! Find out what happened!" Then, shooting a nervous glance at the Yellow Toad, he barked at another researcher in the corner, "Pinpoint the last known location of the signal and send in a stronger enforcer! We need to assess the situation!"

The researcher in the corner muttered under his breath, "Stronger enforcer? They're all the sa—where are we supposed to find a stronger one...?"

The Yellow Toad smirked internally but didn't let it show. He simply turned to leave. "Handle it yourselves. If you can't even manage sothing this trivial... then you have no business staying here."
