"Who is this Sand?" All For One asked, looking at the docunt containing UA's schedule.
He and Dr. Kyudai were in a secret lab, a faint, green glow surrounding them as it spewed out of the many cylinders filled with green-colored solution, each holding a Nomu.
In front of them, lying on a bed, was Tomura Shigaraki.
His hands and feet were tied up and tubes were running through his stomach and right hand's wrist. If it wasn't for the oxygen mask pumping his lungs, it felt like he would have died any mont.
Next to the table, Kurogiri sat, no expression visible on his non-existent face other than squinted, yellow eyes.
"Sand…" Dr. Kyudai recalled. "… Otherwise, infamously called the Governnt's Guillotine. You know him, master.
"He is the one with control over sand and has killed many of our beneficiaries."
"Ah…" All For One humd. "… Him… I always liked his MO. Never took him as a teacher, though."
"Probably, sothing to do with Saionji Group, master," Dr. Kyudai guessed. "That man is…"
Grrrr-hhhhhhhhhh-tttttttttt!!!
Shigaraki's body shook, rocking the entire table. Beastly growls ca from his throat as if soone was choking him.
Dr. Kyudai hurried to him and took off his oxygen mask.
"AHHHHHH!!!" Shigaraki scread, his eyes bloodshot as they opened. "I WILL KILL YOU!!!"
"Hold him down…" Dr. Kyudai told Kurogiri.
Then, he injected a solution into Shigaraki's body.
Slowly, Shigaraki's breathing cald down, his eyelids closing as he fell asleep.
All For One silently stared at his most prized experint and wondered aloud, "This could be the best thing that happened to him…"
Dr. Kyudai and Kurogiri stared at their master, not understanding, but kept quiet.
"Tell again about the attacker," All For One demanded, looking at Kurogiri.
Kurogiri described the monstrous tree and took extra care to ntion the way it shouted Master while dealing the killing blow on Shigaraki.
"… Master…" All For One's eyeless face squinted. "… What is this Quirk?"
Dr. Kyudai sensed the incredible interest in his master's tone.
With all his intelligence, he couldn't think of anything, either. However, sothing happened at that mont that bordered to be called a revelation.
If Luke were here, with Spirit Vision activated, then he would have imdiately picked up this change.
Dr. Kyudai's spirit particles, golden-colored, were distributed across his body evenly as he possessed an age-related Quirk, letting him stay comparatively younger than his actual age.
Suddenly, out of nowhere, a swarm of red spirit particles manifested in his head, colliding with the golden ones.
In a matter of a fraction of a second, they overwheld Kyudai's spirit particles, confiding them in a cage.
Outside, Dr. Kyudai's eyes lit up as if he had figured out sothing spontaneously.
"This seems like a mutation-based Quirk, master," he said, looking thoughtful. "If you think about it, isn't similar to… what we thought of Dr. Blessed?"
"What?!" Kurogiri voiced out his shock in a quiet voice. "That is impossible. I didn't see him anywhere."
On the other hand, All For One had gone absolutely quiet.
"If that is true, Dr. Ujiko," he said after a mont, "then our new friend is worthy enough for to co out and et him… personally."
A Quirk that could mutate all living organisms… If All For One still had eyes remaining, they would have been laughing and glowing with joy and blatant, volcanic greed.
The red spirit particles suddenly vanished from Dr. Kyudai's mind.
Almost instantly, as if it was waiting for the swarm of red spirit particles to go away, one blue spirit particle, just one, collided against Dr. Kyudai's golden one.
"It's possible that Dr. Blessed just happened to be there when Shigaraki visited the UA," Dr. Kyudai guessed, frowning. "Maybe this all was nothing but an unfortunate coincidence."
In the blink of an eye, the blue spirit particle disappeared, collapsing unto itself.
Again, almost instantly, the swarm of red spirit particles returned. Instead of colliding with Dr. Kyudai's golden spirit particles, though, they kept roaming here and then, from head to hands to legs to toes, as if searching for sothing.
After a mont, when they didn't find what they had been looking for, they again disappeared.
"Coincidence?" Kurogiri shook his head. "There was nothing coincidental about it.
"If it was indeed Dr. Blessed, he didn't just decide to attack Shigaraki on impulse. It was an ambush with an intent to kill."
"Absurd," All For One discarded Kurogiri's reasoning. "As you said, no one knew where Shigaraki was going and for what purpose. No one, but you. So, unless you betrayed us, what you said doesn't make sense, Kurogiri."
For a mont, Kurogiri kept quiet, All For One and Dr. Kyudai sharing a glance.
"Whoever this Master is…" Kurogiri continued after a while as if All For One's betrayal remark didn't affect him at all. "… knew exactly where Shigaraki would go.
"He knew I would co to help Shigaraki, and he also knew we had a Nomu at our disposal.
"For a mont there, when I transferred Nomu to Shigaraki, my Quirk didn't work, and the Nomu ended up stuck between two places. If this master could render my Quirk useless, then why didn't he do it when I was trying to let Shigaraki in?
"No… there's sothing truly wrong about all this.
"I believe if Dr. Blessed is indeed this Master, then not only he is much more clever than we are thinking of him, but he also knows much, much more about… us."
All For One silently stared at Kurogiri after listening to his absurd claims.
"Are you trying to say that Dr. Blessed is thodically targeting us?" he asked, with amusent in his voice.
Kurogiri nodded. He looked at Shigaraki and rembered the devotion in the mutated tree's voice. "This person… is more dangerous than All Might…"
"HAHAHA!!!" All For One burst out with a peal of laughter.
For a while, his laugh echoed in the lab, echoing against the cylinders.
"You know the best way to curb down the number of your enemies, Kurogiri?" All For One asked, and then answered himself. "By killing a few of them…"
With a wave of his hand, a video began playing on the screen next to them.
It showed All Might just as the two Nomu were going to end Rabbit Hero: Mirko. What happened next was a blur, but one could still see All Might going down in one punch.
"He's gone weak!" All For One said with disgust.
"What are you planning, master?" Dr. Kyudai asked.
All For One stared at UA's schedule in his hand and then chuckled.
"I think… it's ti to put the Nomu you created to take down All Might… to test."
