Space split apart like a static distortion under the effect of the Descorrer Quirk, and Luke and Nyx walked out from the blackness.

They were standing in a dark corner, the lattices of space sewing themselves up behind them.

Next to them, standing tall on its hind legs, was a large mouse, its eyes glowing red.

The mont Luke made sure that no one was behind him, he snapped his fingers.

A shine coursed over the rat's body, as if soone had cast a mirror on it from far.

Nyx still held the Descorrer Quirk for the next 5 minutes, locking an enormous chunk of Luke's Spirit Points.

The next use of Quirk would practically make her pass out, so they wanted to save it for an ergency.

However, with Luke's enhanced Spirit and Stamina, he could afford many High Complexity Quirks at the sa ti.

The pri issue was that he could bestow Quirks upon only three lifeforms at a ti.

Also, unlike Nyx, who had vast Spirit reserves and who was insanely compatible with Luke, other creatures weren't so gifted when it ca to Spirit.

The red glow in the rat's eyes intensified, almost exploding.

Buzzzzzz! Cr-ackkk!!

In the next mont, it opened its mouth and fired an electric pulse towards the corridor's roof, overloading all the caras installed outside various rooms.

Then, with a muffled splat, the rat exploded in a mass of blood and filth.

This was the fate of all those upon whom Luke bestowed a Quirk that consud Spirit Points greater than the lifeform's base Spirit Points.

The sa had happened with the rat that had erased Brain Thief's mories as well.

Nyx got away with such kind of mutations and explosions because she held twice as many Spirit Points as her original self.

Even though Luke had pushed her beyond that limit many tis, he could only do so because he knew her body just too well.

"… Let's go," Nyx said. "We don't have much ti."

From the side, two more rats crawled next to them.

Luke had Nyx hypnotize these rats before making them infiltrate the hospital.

From his nightly hunts with Sand, Luke had learned to always keep a few bestowed Quirks upon his hands to activate under unexpected and wild circumstances.

Also, he didn't worry about soone finding about his Quirk — Bioalchemy — if he didn't end up activating those Quirks on the rats.

Because, even if he canceled a Quirk without activating it, the rats would end up exploding anyway.

Luke's Spirit Particles within the rats would have already interacted with the rats' spirit particles, practically turning them into a lost cause.

Luke nodded at Nyx's urging and began walking deeper into the silent corridor.

All Might shot across the night sky, leaving behind clouds of dust and sonic booms.

However, no matter how fast he was, he wasn't as fast as his pri. Not after passing One For All to young Midoriya.

He had gone to sleep, working on his lines for tomorrow.

Mr. Principal had asked him to organize a Combat Training for 1-A.

Who knew, just when he had gone to sleep, an unknown caller would utter the na he dreaded to hear in these tis?!

There was a chance that it was a hoax.

But it being a hoax and soone calling him to let him know of it sounded much more than a coincidence.

If there was a possibility that All For One had appeared in Jaku City, then All Might would rather take the chances, no matter how small, and be there.

But — would he be there on ti to prevent mass destruction?!

All Might kicked hard on the ground, clenching his teeth and causing a storm.

He took out his mobile and dialed his agency. If he were at his pri, he could reach Jaku within a few minutes. Now, it would take him more than 10 minutes to reach there, even if he were to ignore the toll on his body.

Till then, he needed soone to… stand in his place and save people.

"Which Pro Hero is nearest to Jaku City?" All Might roared over the wind.

From the other side of the phone, the secretary rushed to give him a na.

Her? All Might rembered the girl. Yes… Yes. She would do. "Call her imdiately and tell her…"

Luke stood outside a closed room within the corridor.

There were several such rooms in this corridor. While the corridor led to the basent in the depths of the darkness, the lab only contained the real Nomu experints.

Luke wasn't looking for Kyudai's research right now.

He needed info, which he had the highest chances of obtaining from these rooms.

However, given the urgency of the situation, he couldn't just search through each room as well.

Like the four closed doors before this one, Luke let the topaz pendulum dangle in front of the doors.

He would trust his spirituality to guide him towards sothing valuable.

Does this room contain info relevant to ? Luke repeated the question seven tis before opening his eyes.

The pendulum was rotating clockwise rapidly.

Luke's eyes lit up. However, he didn't just barge into the room, yet.

To save more ti, he could be more specific in knowing what he truly wanted.

Wrapping the pendulum around his wrist, taking a deep breath, Luke reached for the door knob as if he was about to open the door, despite them being locked.

Luke's pupils dilated suddenly.

In his mind, he saw the room's insides.

There were dozens of boxes scattered in the room, each holding stacks of files.

This was one of the core powers bestowed upon him by the Sequence 9 Marauder potion.

Within a 15-ter range, Luke could intuitively know where the valuable items were. It was so powerful that he could see into closed spaces as well.

Combined with his Seer powers, granting him high spirituality, he could even see into rooms such as this.

As the images kept flashing across his mind, Luke's eyes rested on a box number 6.

Yes. This was it — the most valuable item in the room relevant to him.

Following a great urge to just steal the box, Luke used a nail clip to unlock the door silently.

However, the silence he was trying to maintain broke in the very next mont. One of the rats roaming around him suddenly stood up on its legs and let out a deafening squeak, looking deeper into the corridor.

Simultaneously, Luke's danger intuition triggered, making him snap his head in the sa direction.

The corridor was dark, but all rooms were closed when he began searching, Luke rembered.

Now, one of the doors was opened, and a weird-looking abomination was staring right back at Luke.

It was the size of a grown man's head, and its brain was out in the open, with two tiny legs attached to the head.

The mont its two bulbous eyes t Luke's black ones, it opened its mouth and vomited a black liquid with a gurgle sound.

"Nyx…" Luke said as his eyes widened. He kicked the door open. "Take 6 and teleport…"

From the black mass of liquid, a monstrous creature walked out.

A chill ran down Luke's spine.

Nyx could use Descorrer one more ti, but it would take ti to grab the box and then teleport. Before then, the Nomu would get both of them.

Also, Luke would need to activate the Shrinking Quirk to store the box inside Nyx.

That would leave her useless in the upcoming… fight.

Roarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

"GO!" Luke roared, throwing himself forward and snapping his fingers.

The black-skinned Nomu shot across the corridor, making a punch.

Cursing and bleeding and splitting space, Nyx flew inside.

BOOOMMMMMM!!
