Gu Yue's brows furrowed tighter and tighter.

In her perception, the soul power within Na'er was like liquid silver mixed with stardust—seemingly flowing freely as before, but in reality, it had undergone a fundantal transformation.

Those strange energies shimring with a tallic luster were unlike any known tal elent on the Douluo Continent, nor were they purely of the light attribute. Instead, they carried an aura of laws that transcended comprehension.

"The domineering nature of dragon attributes, the resilience of tal attributes?"

Gu Yue muttered to herself, unconsciously increasing the pressure of her fingertips.

She had never seen such a perfect fusion of attributes. It was as if flas and ice had been lded into a completely new substance—retaining their individual characteristics while achieving an unimaginable balance.

The "Pokémon" captured by Gu La had essentially undergone a transformation due to the differences between worlds. The changes primarily manifested in energy and attributes.

But the essence of the energy remained soul power—it simply carried so properties of Pokémon energy.

This was also why Gu Yue felt obstructed when trying to fuse with Na'er. Previously, there were only cracks in the emotional connection, but now even her body and energy could no longer achieve complete compatibility.

Because Na'er's body now contained sothing foreign to this world.

Na'er suddenly let out a muffled groan, beads of sweat forming on her forehead. Gu La imdiately stepped forward half a step to intervene. "That's enough."

Gu Yue acted as if she hadn't heard him, instead intensifying her probing.

She had to figure out what kind of power could sever the fundantal connection between the Silver Dragon King and her avatar.

As her investigation deepened, her expression gradually shifted from cold indifference to shock—those foreign energies weren't rely clinging to the surface of her soul power; they were like a drop of water mixed into the ocean. Though small in quantity, they were omnipresent.

"What kind of ambiguous law is this?"

Gu Yue withdrew her fingers, her silver lashes trembling slightly. No matter how wise she was, she couldn't have imagined this was energy from another world.

But she finally understood why she couldn't fuse with Na'er—it was like trying to mix ink into oil paint. Though both were liquids, their essences were fundantally different.

Gu La spoke up at the right mont: "Now do you understand? Devouring Na'er would only taint your purity."

He twirled the high-level ball in his hand, its tallic casing gleaming coldly under the setting sun. "Are you ready to listen to now?"

"Shut up!"

Gu Yue snapped harshly, her silver hair stirring without wind. As half of the Dragon God and the ruler of soul beasts, how could she keep compromising?

But when she looked at Na'er, her pupils involuntarily contracted.

This forr clone now radiated an energy fluctuation that she couldn't unravel—an incomprehensible change even for her.

Na'er's delicate fingers gently pressed against her chest, where the high-level ball, now turned into a pendant, rested. Its cold tallic surface had been ward by her body heat and now vibrated faintly with her heartbeat.

She could sense the wavering in Gu Yue's heart, like the sudden drop in air pressure before a snowstorm. That invisible pressure made her breathing cautious.

"You've already figured it out."

Na'er's voice was soft yet resolute. "Even if you devour and regain your full strength, you still won't be able to challenge my brother, who is protected by the Sea God and the Plane Lord."

She saw Gu Yue's pupils contract slightly, her silver lashes trembling under the moonlight. From afar ca the sound of waves crashing against rocks, their rhythm seemingly harmonizing with this conversation about fate.

"When the gods return…" Na'er took a step forward, the sea breeze lifting her silver hair. "If the Sea God discovers you haven't followed his plan, do you think you alone can stand against the pantheon of gods?"

A faint silver glow flickered at Gu Yue's fingertips, only to quickly fade. Na'er's words were like sharp blades, peeling away layer by layer of Gu Yue's hardened defenses.

"Or perhaps…" Na'er's voice grew low and solemn, "you could offer the bloodline of the Silver Dragon King to preserve your life, paving the way for a new Dragon God aligned with the Sea God?"

By this point, Na'er's voice had grown faint and ethereal, like mist on the verge of vanishing.

After all, in the Sea God's grand sche, her secondary personality was rely an emotional anchor for his son—a disposable chess piece.

Everything beyond that had nothing to do with her "accidental" existence.

Na'er looked up at the sky, tears brimming in the corners of her eyes.

Night fell, and the twinkling stars seed to mock her insignificance.

There was no place for Na'er in this world.

Perhaps the fused "Gu Yue-Na" would retain a trace of her emotions, but ultimately, Gu Yue would dominate. Human mories and feelings could be diluted, just like salt dissolving in the sea.

She suddenly recalled Tang Wulin's warm smile and the protective figure who always stood before her. This mory squeezed her heart as if gripped by an invisible hand, but she quickly steadied her breathing, brushed aside these complex thoughts, and revealed a bright, radiant smile:

"Or are you willing to gamble that the gods, who raise humans to harvest faith, would abandon the seat of a Dragon God for the sake of one human world?"

Gu Yue's face paled further, the moonlight casting uneven shadows across it. Na'er knew she had struck a nerve.

"You only have one path—to cooperate with us."

Na'er turned to Gu La, who was pensively rubbing the Poké Ball in his hand. "As Gu La said, try to beco a God King together. Only then will we have a chance to take control in the future, rather than becoming pawns in soone else's plans."

Na'er's words were clear and logical, causing even Gu La to raise an eyebrow, questioning his own preconception of Gu Yue as being driven solely by emotion.

The night wind grew stronger, whipping their robes into a frenzy.

Gu Yue's expression grew colder, the temperature around them plumting as the weather mirrored her mood. But she had to calm down because every word Na'er spoke pierced her heart like arrows, hitting the most critical points.

Tang Wulin was protected by the Plane Lord and the Sea God's divine consciousness. Even with the help of fierce beasts like Di Tian, the reincarnated Silver Dragon King couldn't obtain the Golden Dragon King's core, leaving her incomplete.

When facing the entire pantheon… Gu Yue closed her eyes, envisioning the image of the gods' army pressing down upon her.

As for threatening the gods with humanity…

Even in her hazy mories, she knew the gods ruled over hundreds of life-bearing planets similar to Douluo Star. Losing one wouldn't be a significant loss to them.

"It seems you've cornered ."

Gu Yue finally spoke, her voice so low it was almost drowned out by the sound of the waves. A flicker of unwillingness flashed in her silver eyes, but more prominent was the resigned clarity.

Gu La noticed Gu Yue's misunderstanding and shook his head, stepping forward. The Poké Ball in his hand shimred strangely under the moonlight:

"I didn't sche against you—it was Na'er who approached ." He shrugged, offering a helpless smile. "I just gave it a try. Who would've thought sothing from my holand would work so well?"

A thought stirred in Gu Yue's mind as her gaze fell on the sphere in Gu La's hand. She instantly saw through the high-level ball's essence—it was a technological creation akin to a soul conductor. And this small object could detach her secondary personality from her?

"I can temporarily trust you," Gu Yue finally relented, her voice tinged with exhaustion. "But you must show Na'er's improvent."

"No problem." Gu La readily agreed, a confident smirk curving his lips.

He didn't believe that Gu Yue, the cold side of the Silver Dragon King, would be easily subdued.

Tonight's progress had already satisfied him imnsely. The starry sky was vast, and there was plenty of ti ahead.

He was confident he could persuade Gu Yue because, even without him, the Dragon God, entangled by emotions, wouldn't approve her ascension as the next God King.
