The Silver Dragon King laughed coldly in her fury, her silver dragon wings vibrating and causing the heavens and earth to shift.
Seven-colored rainbows flowed between her scales. Aside from the spatial elents locked by temporal power, the remaining six elents manifested in midair, coalescing into six elental crystals.
Fire and wind intertwined into a crimson-blue fire tornado, earth and ice ford countless azure ice blades, and light and darkness entwined into a black hole vortex brimming with lightning—six elents combined in pairs, instantly stirring an elental storm within a kiloter radius.
"Such ager temporal power dares to flaunt itself before ?"
The Silver Dragon King's vertical pupils contracted to pinpoints as her dragon claws clenched in midair. The elental storm abruptly contracted, forming an elental collapse singularity around Gu La, twisting even light into bizarre spirals.
Yet amidst this world-shattering pressure, Gu La smirked coldly.
Silver-green patterns spread from beneath his feet, tearing open a sapphire rift in the elental storm in the blink of an eye. Within the rift, stars flickered on and off—it was unmistakably a tunnel leading to the river of ti.
"Farewell. When I return, I'll make you my dragon mount."
As Gu La turned, he gave a mocking thumbs-down gesture, which ignited golden flas of rage in the Silver Dragon King's eyes.
In the instant the elental collapse detonated, Gu La had already slipped into the temporal rift like a fish diving into the sea, leaving behind only the lingering roar of the infuriated dragon echoing through the shattered space.
Within the temporal tunnel, streaks of flowing ti enveloped Gu La in a cocoon-like embrace. Whispers from countless tilines exploded in his ears: in one tiline, blood-red roses blood before the Pope's Hall; in another, Mingde Hall burned fiercely; and across countless tilines, cries of "Long live Shrek!" rose and fell like waves.
Gu La's forehead veins bulged as the ntal shield protecting him began to crack under the onslaught of information.
"Revive, my love!"
"March on Star Luo! Avenge those who died in the Mingdu explosion!"
"Hao Dong Palm! Life after life!"
"Evil soul masters are attacking the spirit-guided train!"
"For the academy's exam, it's just a fighter jet…"
The cacophony pounded at his eardrums. Though protected by his skills, Gu La's mind suffered greatly.
"Enough!"
He bit his tongue to stay alert but froze in terror the mont he opened his eyes. Upstream in the previously calm river of ti, silvery turbulence slithered forward like a greedy serpent.
It was a tide of death composed of countless shattered fragnts of ti and space, grinding even the concept of ti into dust wherever it passed.
"Oh, it's temporal turbulence."
Gu La blinked in confusion before snapping back to clarity.
Temporal turbulence? The kind that destroyed the divine realm?
A shiver ran down Gu La's spine as he frantically searched for a safe tunnel to escape. He hadn't expected the temporal turbulence to affect even the process of ti travel.
Gu La furiously activated his ti-travel technique, temporal runes swirling around him like wheels. However, shards from the turbulence had already torn through his robes, leaving fine bloody scratches all over his left arm.
When the first tendril of silvery turbulence breached his defenses and grazed his waist, he clearly saw his skin aging and regenerating at visible speeds, as if countless versions of himself from different ages were flashing beneath his skin.
"Now!"
With a roar, Gu La hurled himself toward the nearest mbrane of light. The silver waves of temporal turbulence had already reached his nape. Just before his body was completely engulfed, he transford into a streak of light, breaking through a cosmic barrier. Behind him, the sound of collapsing ti and space thundered…
When consciousness reford, Gu La was plumting from ten thousand ters above ground. Summoning telekinetic force to cushion his fall, he crashed into a prival jungle like a teorite.
In the charred crater, he trembled as he raised his bloodied right hand, shocked to find that less than ten percent of his energy remained.
Even more bizarre was the sight of towering tallic structures and spirit-guided devices coexisting among the ancient trees in the distance, accompanied by an unfamiliar yet strangely familiar energy fluctuation in the air.
"Is this… Douluo Continent?"
Wiping away blood from his lips, his pupils reflected the silhouette of a steel bird soaring across the sky—a jet fighter fused with a spirit-guided core.
Gu La's lips twitched. 'Where the hell am I now? Is this still Douluo Continent?'
"Most likely so future tiline. I need to leave quickly and secure a local identity to hide."
He suspected he had arrived in the era twenty thousand years later, during the period of Legend of the Dragon King, in a tiline untouched by his influence. In this era, gods no longer existed in Douluo, making his peak 1st Class God-level strength the pinnacle of power in this world.
"I didn't sense any crisis before arriving, but since temporal turbulence appeared, I can't fully trust the danger warnings tied to my ti-travel technique."
Enduring his injuries, Gu La sat cross-legged under the sun, converting life force through Photosynthesis. With a wave of his hands, he glimpsed three days into the future.
"Hasty pedestrians, rampant local resistance forces and evil soul masters—it's definitely the Legend of the Dragon King era."
"This is… the third continent beyond the Sun Moon Federation and the Star Luo Empire, where remnants of the Dou Ling imperial family and displaced people settled—the new colony known as the Dou Ling Continent."
Gu La spat out a mouthful of blood, casually wiping it away as his internal injuries continued to heal with each breath.
"Fortune favors the bold. Under the threat of temporal power, there are signs of fusion between the three special powers: Aura, Viridian Force, and Psychic Power."
He felt the myriad energies within his body synchronizing to a unified frequency, working in harmony.
"If I could endure longer in the temporal turbulence, the three forces representing essence, energy, and spirit might fuse into a special ability rivaling divine power."
But alas, his strength was insufficient…
"Especially Celebi's high affinity with space-ti—my body still holds residual temporal energy, showing signs of fusing with these special abilities."
Regret was useless. Gu La stopped dwelling on it, allowing life force to heal his wounds. Using ultimate fire, he erased his presence and teleported away from the jungle.
Not long after he left, a Super Douluo and two Titled Douluos arrived in the vicinity, piloting one red and two black cha suits. They ticulously scanned the deep crater Gu La had left behind, finding nothing. Eventually, they summoned nurous soul masters to conduct a thorough search of the surrounding area.
anwhile, Gu La had already hypnotized locals and entered the city.
The Dou Ling imperial family had been driven out of Douluo Continent by the forr Sun Moon Empire, now the Sun Moon Federation. Their forces were not strong, and both their soul master ranks and spirit-guided technology lagged far behind the Sun Moon Federation.
If not for the Tang Sect and Shrek Academy covertly supporting Dou Ling and Star Luo Empires with weapons and military aid, the Sun Moon Federation could have conquered both continents within a month and unified Douluo Star.
Walking down streets resembling modern society, Gu La contemplated his next plan.
"Accidentally arriving here, I can't leave empty-handed. In this era, soul beasts are nearly extinct, but the spirit soul system has developed to an extraordinary degree."
"There are technologies for artificial spirit souls, tallic spirit souls, and even extracting genes from ancient soul beasts that went extinct tens of thousands of years ago to create spirit souls."
"While fusing spirit souls doesn't enhance physical or spiritual strength like soul rings do, the Spirit Ascension Platform compensates by boosting soul ring years."
Gu La gazed toward the city center, where a towering structure stood—the branch tower of the Spirit Pagoda. Inside lay what he sought.
