...The God Forbidden Land.

Years slipped by in silence; another stretch of seasons ran through their fingers like sand.

Gu Yuena still stood guard outside the Nine-Colored Dragon Cocoon, having turned into an eternal statue. Her state of mind had long since settled into calm, as unruffled as still water.

She understood that Xuan Ming needed this "rest," and she was willing to give him that peace.

Yet on this very day, sudden change erupted.

Without the slightest warning, the cocoon that had hovered in the Void Realm motionless for years burst into boundless rays of dawn-light.

Nine-colored divine radiance surged like tides, flooding the entire God Forbidden Land with dream-like splendor.

Gu Yuena jerked upright, a flash of shock crossing her silver eyes.

Before she could react, a gentle but irresistible pull shot from the cocoon and instantly enveloped her.

She offered no resistance, letting that power draw her softly; her body turned into a streak of silver light and lted into the blazing Nine-Colored Dragon Cocoon.

When the light faded, the God Forbidden Land returned to silence, as though nothing had happened.

Inside the cocoon stretched a vast and boundless starry sky.

Gu Yuena found herself cradled in a warm embrace; the familiar aura instantly shed her weariness and loneliness. Slowly she lifted her gaze, and there was the face she had longed for day and night.

Xuan Ming had awakened.

His eyes were clear and fathomless, no longer tired or distant, but filled instead with the serenity and gentleness born of trials survived.

Without a word he held her tightly, as if to fuse all those years of yearning and debt into this single embrace.

Gu Yuena's eyes reddened; she buried her face against his chest and greedily breathed in his scent. No speech was needed—this mont outshone a thousand speeches.

After an unknowable ti Xuan Ming stroked her silver hair and murmured, "You've endured so much."

Gu Yuena shook her head, voice trembling: "As long as you're awake."

"Mm, I'm awake." A soft arc curved his lips. "It's ti to deal with what must be dealt with."

Releasing her, he took her hand and, gazing at the vast expanse of nine-colored Origin, said calmly, "I've completed the Legacy of the Dragon God Position. Yet I have no interest in that power. Now I intend to give it to you."

Gu Yuena stiffened, her face paling. "No! Xuan Ming, are you mad? You've only just inherited the Position, your Foundation is still unsteady. To forcibly strip the Dragon God Power now would grievously wound your divine soul; you could even fall out of the God Realm!"

She could sense the Universe-spanning might inside him, and precisely because of that she knew how terrifying the price of severing it would be.

Xuan Ming only shook his head, unperturbed, even wearing a relaxed smile. "Don't worry. It's different from what you imagine."

He pointed to the center of his brow, where a flawless white Godhead mark flickered, exuding an air that denied everything and yet Dominatored all.

"From the start I never chose to fully fuse with the Dragon God Power," he explained. "My Godhead has completely analyzed and reconstructed it. And at the final mont of inheriting the Position, the lingering soul of the Dragon God descended and gave guidance. He approved of my path."

"Therefore," eting her stunned gaze, he spoke the final truth, "my Godhead has already stabilized at the God King level. To the Dragon God Power was more like a guide, letting grasp in advance the various Laws of Power the Dragon God possessed. I don't need this 'Position'; I only need enough energy to reach the sa Realm as the Dragon God through my own Godhead."

Gu Yuena was utterly dumbfounded.

Analyze? Reconstruct? His Godhead already stable at God King level?

It all surpassed her comprehension. It ant Xuan Ming walked a path no predecessor had ever trod, one even the gods of the God Realm could not fathom. He was no inheritor—he was a creator.

Seeing her dazed look, Xuan Ming chuckled and offered no more explanation. He led her to sit cross-legged in the starlight and said in a tone that brooked no refusal, "Get ready. It may hurt, but trust —I'll bear it with you."

With that he pressed his forehead to hers.

In an instant the boundless Dragon God Origin Power within the Nine-Colored Dragon Cocoon found its outlet, turning into a blazing torrent that surged madly into Gu Yuena's body!

...The Supre Temple.

The tranquil heart of the God Realm was shattered by a sudden violent surge of energy.

The figures of five God Kings appeared almost simultaneously in the center of the temple, all staring toward the God Forbidden Land.

"This fluctuation..." Asura God frowned, a grave glint in his blood-colored eyes.

"It's the God Forbidden Land!" exclaid the Goddess of Life; in her Divine Sense Gu Yuena's aura, which had been guarding the cocoon, had vanished.

anwhile the cocoon that had floated for years now blazed like a cosmic core on the verge of eruption, releasing chaotic yet vast ripples of power.

Without a word five beams of divine light tore across the sky and arrived at the edge of the God Forbidden Land in an instant.

An invisible barrier of Law separated inside from outside; though only a line apart, the flow of ti on either side was vastly different.

They could clearly feel the God Realm's most primal divine force being dragged by an invisible vortex, pouring without cease into the Nine-Colored Dragon Cocoon.

"Again! He's still absorbing our Origin divine force!" The God of Destruction's face darkened, crackling with restless destructive Qi. "We must stop him! The Origin divine force is the very Foundation that keeps the God Realm stable; if this keeps up we might draw in dangers from the cosmic Void—consequences would be unimaginable!"

Just as he was about to act, a hand settled on his shoulder.

"Calm." The God of Evil shook his head, deep eyes fixed on the cocoon that kept devouring power. "Don't be rash. If nothing goes wrong, he'll soon awaken."

He paused, a aningful smile curving his lips: "A supre God King willing to abide by the rules and on the verge of completing his final transformation—if he fulfills the agreent to expand the God Realm, what is a little Origin divine force? A re drop in the ocean."

The Goddess of Life and the God of Kindness both nodded, concurring with the God of Evil.

The God of Destruction gave a heavy grunt and finally suppressed his impulse, though worry still lingered in his eyes.

Ti trickled by in tense waiting.

The five God Kings waited outside the God Forbidden Land for seven days and nights. To them it was but a brief mont, yet they knew that, given the ti flow inside, seven full years had passed within.

What they did not know was that, to ensure Gu Yuena received this power in absolute safety, Xuan Ming had once again used his inconceivable Godhead to twist and accelerate micro-ti inside the cocoon.

Even he could no longer say what terrifying ratio now stood between the cocoon's interior and the outside world.

Seven days later.

Crack...

A crisp, crystal-shattering sound rang clearly in the ears of the five God Kings.

They perked up; a hair-thin fissure had appeared on the colossal Nine-Colored Dragon Cocoon.

In the next instant cracks spread like a spider-web, and dazzling divine light blasted through, turning the God Forbidden Land bright as noon.

Boom—!

With a roar that shook the entire God Realm, the Nine-Colored Dragon Cocoon exploded!

Two distinct yet equally overwhelming forces—each already transcending the ordinary God King level—gushed out and swept through the God Forbidden Land!
