As the Silvermoon Flood Dragon King moved, the air vibrated violently, forming rings of silver ripples, as if space itself warped under its power. Its head bore a pair of jade-silver dragon horns, radiating gentle but deadly moonlight, firing silver beams that rcilessly harvested every Shrek inner court disciple in its sight.

Its crescent-moon-shaped tail was razor-sharp, slicing through space with each swing, sending ripples as though space might tear at any mont.

When the last scream faded, the Silvermoon Flood Dragon King sensed no human soul masters remained alive in the area.

It slowly swung its crescent tail, slicing open a spatial rift, and its massive body faded into the crack, vanishing instantly.

anwhile, since Lu Jingming and Zhang Lexuan were targeting hundred-thousand-year soul beasts (at minimum eighty-thousand years), Jingliu led them straight into the forest's core.

Not long after entering, they encountered soone unexpected.

In the distance, Wu Ming was fleeing in panic, hair disheveled, covered in dust and blood, clutching Han Ruoruo.

Seeing this, Lu Jingming and Zhang Lexuan were stunned.

Wu Ming looked in terrible shape—her soul power was spent, and she was on the verge of collapse.

Han Ruoruo's life aura was so weak as to be almost undetectable as if she could die at any mont.

Both were elite inner court disciples of Shrek Academy, mbers of the previous generation's Shrek Seven Devils. Even though they'd lost the last All-Continent Advanced Soul Master Academy Battle and had been punished, their status should not have fallen so far.

The Star Dou Great Forest was dangerous, but Shrek had plenty of power; with even one Title Douluo escort, they shouldn't have ended up like this.

Clearly, Wu Ming and Han Ruoruo had encountered a powerful enemy and were trapped in a desperate situation.

"Run! It's a hundred-thousand-year soul beast!" Even while desperately fleeing, Wu Ming spotted Lu Jingming and Zhang Lexuan, her pupils contracting.

She didn't hesitate, imdiately flying in another direction and shouting a warning.

In their previous match, she had lost to Zhang Lexuan fair and square, bearing no grudge.

Even though dragging Zhang Lexuan and Lu Jingming into this would increase her and Han Ruoruo's survival chances, she never considered it.

Because they were friends of Ma Xiaotao, and because of her own pride.

She, Wu Ming the Golden Crow Saintess, would never stoop to such despicable ans, even if death awaited.

She believed Han Ruoruo would do the sa.

Hearing Wu Ming's urgent warning and seeing her flee, Zhang Lexuan and Lu Jingming's faces changed. They shouted in unison, "Teacher!"

At that mont, space behind Wu Ming twisted without warning, as if torn by an invisible hand. A silver dragon claw, wrapped in frosty moonlight, lashed out at Wu Ming and Han Ruoruo.

At the critical mont, a sword light full of extre cold flashed like lightning.

With a muffled "puchi," silver scales shattered like glass, and silvery-red blood splattered into the void as a pained and furious dragon roar echoed from the spatial rift.

A second, even sharper sword light imdiately followed, slicing space itself apart.

Through the shattered space, the massive form of the Silvermoon Flood Dragon King was forced into view.

At the sa ti, terrifying icy power surged through the gaping sword wound on its claw, freezing the entire limb into an ice sculpture in seconds.

Jingliu, silver-haired and eye-patched, stood in the air, her beauty cold and distant, radiating an aura that kept all at bay.

She wielded her Ice Sword, standing firmly between the Silvermoon Flood Dragon King and Wu Ming.

It was she who, at the critical mont, saved Wu Ming and Han Ruoruo, and her two sword strikes had not only severely injured the beast but also forced it out of the spatial tear.

Lu Jingming and Zhang Lexuan imdiately recognized the gigantic beast—the hundred-thousand-year Silvermoon Flood Dragon King, with both moonlight and spatial attributes, a type of flood dragon.

The Silvermoon Flood Dragon King was famously arrogant, bearing a deep hatred for human soul masters. Any who entered its territory would be hunted to the death.

Clearly, Wu Ming and Han Ruoruo had accidentally trespassed and were rcilessly pursued.

But Lu Jingming was full of questions.

Where was the Shrek escort teacher? Surely Han Ruoruo and Wu Ming wouldn't have dared to enter the forest core alone, right?

Four years had passed; even if both were now Soul Sages, barging into the deadly core with just the two of them was suicide.

"ROAR—!"

The Silvermoon Flood Dragon King let out an earth-shattering, furious roar, filled with resentnt and rage.

But within its icy silver pupils was a deep wariness.

To its shock, neither its vast soul power nor powerful moonlight could shake the solid ice freezing its right claw in the face of Jingliu's ice power.

Not only that, but the biting cold seed almost alive, trying to spread through its entire body.

If not for its quick reaction, using all its moonlight power to resist, it might have lost more than just its right claw.
