Poison Douluo had initially assud that Dan Heng was rely trying to curry favor with Chrysanthemum Douluo by tending to his flowers.

But now, it seed that Dan Heng was not that kind of person at all.

However, this did not an that Poison Douluo would suddenly regard Dan Heng in a different light.

At the end of the day, Dan Heng was just an ordinary person. In the world of Soul Masters, the strong ruled, and the weak had no choice but to bow down.

"Are you not afraid that I might kill you?" Poison Douluo withdrew his smile, his expression turning ice-cold.

A mass of green poison mist suddenly appeared in his palm, swirling ominously.

At the sa ti, nine soul rings circled around his body, illuminating the entire room with a dazzling array of colors.

Tai Nou's face turned pale as he stood behind Poison Douluo. He dared not speak loudly but frantically signaled to Dan Heng with his eyes.

Now is not the ti to be stubborn!

Just give in and surrender already!

Otherwise, he was as good as dead.

And if Poison Douluo personally took his life, no one would stand up for him. He would die in vain!

But Dan Heng remained unmoved. He looked at Poison Douluo calmly and shook his head.

"I am not afraid."

Poison Douluo raised his poison-laced palm just inches from Dan Heng's face.

"With just a slight wave of my hand, you will be reduced to nothing but bones. Do you truly believe that I would hesitate to take a re human life?"**

Poison Douluo sneered nacingly.

Dan Heng's unshaken composure annoyed him greatly.

As a mighty Title Douluo, his very presence alone should be enough to inspire fear.

Yet this young man showed not even the slightest hint of dread?

This was an utter humiliation!

His poisoned mist crept toward Dan Heng's face, drawing ever closer.

Just as it was about to make contact—re milliters away—it suddenly stopped.

Poison Douluo narrowed his eyes in surprise.

Even at this close proximity, Dan Heng's gaze remained unwavering.

Seeing such a character, Poison Douluo felt a trace of respect rise within him. But more than that, he felt frustration.

If he could not crush this young man completely—body and spirit—then this encounter would leave an uncomfortable mark on his heart.

"Do you even understand the effects of my poison?" Poison Douluo scoffed. "Even a ten-thousand-year soul beast would perish instantly!"

Dan Heng shook his head and responded evenly:

"I understand perfectly. This is the venom of the Jade Phosphor Serpent Emperor, mixed with the toxin of the Hundred-Star Vine. Both are top-tier poisons, and their properties have been altered. If my skin makes direct contact, it will imdiately start to decay."

"Without soul power protection, my facial muscles will be corroded away in an instant, exposing the bone underneath. While the outer surface of the bone may appear unhard, the interior will also be eroded."

"With just a light tap, it will shatter into dust."

Dan Heng described the horrific effects of the poison with eerie calmness, as if he were talking about soone else's fate.

Tai Nou was dumbstruck.

What the hell is wrong with this guy?

Did he not realize the gravity of the situation?

Did he not understand that he was standing before Poison Douluo—a man notorious for his ruthlessness?

How could he remain so composed?

Was he not afraid that Poison Douluo might suddenly lose control and actually kill him?!

"..." Poison Douluo's lips twitched slightly.

Dan Heng's fearlessness only irritated him further.

The infamous Poison Douluo, unable to even elicit a trace of fear from this young man?

That was unacceptable!

"Fine, you are quite impressive. Your knowledge of poisons has exceeded my expectations."

"If I simply kill you now, it would be a waste—especially over sothing as trivial as Chrysanthemum Douluo's flowers. He isn't worth it."

"But if I do nothing, I won't be satisfied either. After all, I have a deep grudge with that old chrysanthemum."

"So, let's play a ga..."

Suddenly, Poison Douluo disappeared from his spot and reappeared beside Taino.

Tai Nou's face twisted in horror. Before he could react, Poison Douluo struck him with a sharp knife-hand chop.

His body instantly went limp, and he collapsed to the ground.

His eyes widened in disbelief as he looked up at Poison Douluo.

What the hell?!

Why did he suddenly attack ?!

"I will poison him," Poison Douluo said coldly. "And you will try to cure him. If you can save him, I will let you go."

"But if you fail, you both die—and I will burn those flowers to the ground!"

"You have no right to refuse. The ga starts now."

Poison Douluo smirked and pressed his palm against Taino's neck.

A stream of green poison gas seeped into Taino's skin.

"Shit!!!"

Tai Nou roared in pain. He was about to lose his mind.

Why the hell was he the one suffering for Dan Heng's stubbornness?!

Poison Douluo shot Dan Heng a taunting look.

"Your move."

Dan Heng shook his head slightly. He had not expected Poison Douluo to take such an approach.

Kneeling down, he examined Taino closely.

In just a few seconds, Tai Nou's entire body turned green. Blood seeped from his seven orifices, taking on an unnatural purplish-red hue.

Dan Heng closed his eyes and took a deep breath.

From the scent alone, he could already analyze the composition of the poison.

Taino's breathing grew ragged. His eyes rolled back, and he looked as if he were monts away from death.

Poison Douluo sneered. "Well? Have you figured sothing out?"

This was not even his strongest poison, yet for an outsider, it was undoubtedly deadly.

Not only was it composed of plant-based toxins, but soul power poison was also infused within it.

Dan Heng said nothing. Instead, he retrieved a pair of scissors and made small incisions on Taino's fingertips, letting the poisoned blood drip out.

Next, he filled a basin with cold water and subrged Taino's hands in it.

"Tai Nou, activate your soul power and heat your blood. Then, slowly force the poison out through your fingertips into the water."

Poison Douluo scoffed. "You're desperate now, aren't you?"

Rather than seeking an herbal antidote, Dan Heng had chosen an unorthodox thod: forced bloodletting.

"I will give you half an incense stick's ti. If this doesn't work, I will finish you off."

In reality, Poison Douluo was already prepared to strike. He was certain that Dan Heng's thod would fail.

Tai Nou, however, weakly obeyed Dan Heng's instructions. His soul power flickered faintly.

Soon, the basin's water turned green.

From his ten fingertips, tiny streams of poisoned blood spurted into the basin.

After half an incense stick's ti, the entire basin had transford into a dark green pool of venom.

But Tai Nou? His skin had returned to its normal color, and his breathing had steadied. Though exhausted, he was alive.

Poison Douluo's eyes widened in shock.

Such a detoxification thod... he had never even considered it before.

In such a short ti, Dan Heng had managed to analyze and solve the problem.

Poison Douluo stared at Dan Heng, his gaze filled with newfound interest.
