"Zhi'er, I'm sorry! I misjudged you," Xiao Wu said, sticking out her tongue as she apologetically addressed A Yin.

She glanced enviously at A Yin's curvaceous figure. It turned out that when she transford from a ten-thousand-year soul beast, she could possess such a body. Unfortunately, now she could only wait to grow up slowly.

"It's alright. You must be the Young Master's girlfriend, right? How adorable!" A Yin's eyes lit up as she spoke.

"Yes," Xiao Wu nodded, looking at Zhao Ming with a face full of sweetness.

"Alright, alright, we can talk more later. Let's go eat first," Zhao Ming said with a smile, noticing that Xiao Wu and A Yin were getting familiar with each other.

As they walked down the streets of Nuoding City, the sight of the two beauties, one tall and one petite, attracted many gazes. In the midst of them, Zhao Ming found himself the center of attention, receiving various envious and jealous looks directed at him.

Fortunately, before leaving, Zhao Ming had asked A Yin to cover her face with a veil; otherwise, he would have likely been bombarded with flirtations from many passersby.

Even so, A Yin still garnered significant attention from the crowd.

After hastily finding a place to eat, Zhao Ming was already contemplating how to send A Yin away.

While having a beautiful maid was a delightful thing, Zhao Ming valued his own life even more.

With A Yin here, he felt like a walking ti bomb. He never knew when Tang Hao might show up and discover A Yin.

At that ti, Tang Hao would definitely slap him to death!

Tang Hao's strength was sothing Zhao Ming couldn't currently contend with. He estimated that he would only be able to deal with Tang Hao freely after turning twenty, but that was still far from now.

Given Tang Hao's feelings for A Yin, if she were to speak up, she could easily reclaim her soul ring and soul bone from him. At that point, A Yin would restore her power to the level of a Soul Saint.

anwhile, Tang Hao would likely suffer a severe setback; soul rings are easy to absorb but incredibly difficult to strip away.

Typically, soul rings are born only after a soul beast dies. If a soul ring is produced, it signifies that the soul beast has died, unable to survive any longer.

A Yin's situation was sowhat unique; she was revived by the system. There might be only this one instance of a being living yet having lost its soul ring on the continent.

In the original story, when Tang San revived Xiao Wu, he rely stripped her soul ring away before bringing her back. The difference between the two is not just in the order of events.

According to the system, soul rings are the essence of a soul beast's energy, which they hold dear. When A Yin retrieves this soul ring, Tang Hao's cultivation would drop significantly, returning him to the level of an 89th-level Spirit Douluo.

At that point, A Yin would deal with Tang Hao, then infiltrate the Haotian Sect to stabilize Tang Xiao. Finally, they would fra Tang Hao's death on the Spirit Hall, leading to a complete rift between the Haotian Sect and the Spirit Hall.

Then, Zhao Ming would go to Shrek Academy, using Ning Rongrong to deal with the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile School, and then extend his influence into the Star Luo Empire through Zhu Zhuqing and Dai Mubai.

At that point, he would naturally pocket the entire world.

Moreover, in a couple of years, the crown prince of the Heaven Dou Empire would beco Qian Renxue. Aside from a few in the Spirit Hall, he was the only one who knew this.

Hehe, if he could win over Qian Renxue, that would be even better. With control over the Heaven Dou Empire and the Star Luo Empire, he could watch the Haotian Sect and the Spirit Hall fight each other.

Once the Spirit Hall dealt with the Haotian Sect and the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Sect, he would take the opportunity to launch a surprise attack on the Spirit Hall.

Looking at it this way, the dominant powers of the Douluo Continent were nothing more than that.

As Zhao Ming pondered, he felt a rush of excitent, lying directly on the bed and having A Yin bring him a plate of grapes, lying on her lap and letting her peel them for him.

Feeling the soft and fragrant pillow beneath his head, Zhao Ming felt an overwhelming sense of comfort. To be honest, he felt a bit reluctant to send A Yin away after just one day.

"Zhi'er," Zhao Ming called softly.

"Young Master, what's wrong? Do you not want to eat anymore? Should I go get so oranges?" A Yin didn't look up, carefully peeling the grapes as she responded.

"I have sothing I want to discuss with you." Looking at the obedient A Yin, Zhao Ming suddenly felt a pang of guilt.

"What is it?" A Yin asked excitedly.

"I... I have a task I need you to carry out. This task will require you to leave for a while." After thinking for a mont, Zhao Ming finally said.

"Clatter." Upon hearing Zhao Ming's words, A Yin was stunned. Her mind went blank, and the plate in her hands fell to the ground.

Tears imdiately welled up in A Yin's eyes as she spoke with a choked voice, "Young Master, do you not want Zhi'er anymore? I promise to be very obedient from now on, and I will never offend you again."

"No, how could I possibly not want you? I just need you to help complete a task, and once it's done, you can co back," Zhao Ming said as he wiped the tears from A Yin's face.

"Really?" A Yin blinked her big eyes, pouting.

"Of course, it's true. If this task didn't require you, I wouldn't want to let you go!" Zhao Ming replied.

He then proceeded to share so details about the task with A Yin.

...

This was a mysterious mountain range.

Surrounded by mountains, lush with vibrant greenery, the dense forest shimred like rippling sapphires, and deep within that forest, a magnificent waterfall cascaded down, connecting heaven and earth.

In the depths of that waterfall, there was an unusual cave.

Perhaps due to the waterfall outside, the cave was quite damp. It was about three ters high and two ters wide, extending deep inside. It was very dark.

As one ventured deeper into the cave, it gradually beca brighter.

This was a stone chamber of about ten square ters. At the top of the chamber was a stone hole, allowing sunlight to stream in freely.

The stone chamber had no furnishings and was empty, but directly beneath the stone hole, there was a small mound of earth. On that mound grew a slender Blue Silver Grass, swaying gently in the wind. The grass appeared longer than ordinary grass blades, and the most peculiar aspect was the golden fine lines on the leaves. Unfortunately, this grass had started to turn yellow, indicating it was on the verge of wilting.

"A Yin, what happened to you?" a man knelt on the ground, unable to accept the situation, crying out in despair.

This man was Tang Hao. After leaving Nuoding City last ti, he had co here to see "A Yin." This was the seed she had left him, her last hope for life!

Six years ago, Tang Hao had planted this seed here.

But now!

This grass had started to turn yellow, and so of the leaves were wilting. This was proof that A Yin's life was fading away!

"A Yin, A Yin, I'm so sorry! I planted you to death; I deserve to die!"

Tang Hao wept. The legendary Haotian Douluo was now filled with tears, trembling as he reached out to touch the grass leaves, letting his tears fall into the earth.

"This is all my fault. If I had co to see you earlier, you might not be in this state!" Tang Hao gently stroked the yellowing grass leaves, speaking despondently.

He now hated himself deeply, not only because he had forced A Yin to sacrifice herself, but now he had lost even the last glimr of hope.
