Noon.

The sun shone brightly as Zhao Ming lay alone on the bed.

At that mont, Xiao Wu had just left the room not long ago.

Suddenly, a series of light footsteps approached. This sound was different from Xiao Wu's; it carried a subtle killing intent.

Zhao Ming's eyes snapped open as he saw Tang San standing in front of him, his expression devoid of emotion.

"Tang San? What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be in class?" Zhao Ming felt a jolt of surprise at first but quickly regained his composure and looked at Tang San.

"What do you think I'm here for?" Tang San sneered, his gaze filled with hatred.

"Oh? You must be here to visit . After all, we're in the sa dormitory and see each other often. Did you bring anything?" Zhao Ming said, casually glancing at Tang San's right hand, which he had hidden behind his back. His instincts told him that Tang San was hiding sothing dangerous.

"Pfft! Do you really think I'd co to see you?" Tang San retorted coldly.

"If you're not here to see , then it must be to kill ," Zhao Ming said, simultaneously channeling his soul power. He knew Tang San wasn't a fool; this ti, he had co prepared.

"You guessed right. I'm here to kill you," Tang San declared fiercely, suddenly raising his right hand, revealing three sharp, glinting arrows.

"Tang San, why? Why are you doing this?"

"Hah, why? You stole my Xiao Wu, so why shouldn't I? Normally, I don't like wasting words before killing soone. But you are different; killing you too quickly would be too easy. I want you to slowly feel the pain of death."

"If you want to get through life, you need to wear a bit of green on your head. Tang San, I'm doing this for your own good!" Zhao Ming pleaded earnestly, trying to save this wayward Tang San.

Listening to Zhao Ming's words, Tang San furrowed his brow, not understanding what Zhao Ming ant. After all, he was just an ancient person and didn't grasp the modern idioms Zhao Ming used.

"Hmph, nonsense."

"Now that I'm this close to you, even if you summon your puppet martial spirit, it will be too late. And even if you manage to summon it, she won't be able to fully withstand the three hidden weapons in my hands. Prepare to die!" Tang San growled, suddenly rolling up his sleeve to reveal the hidden weapons strapped to his right arm.

"Stop!" Just as Tang San was about to act, a furious voice rang out.

Xiao Wu had unexpectedly appeared at the doorway!

Since that day, Xiao Wu had been on high alert regarding Tang San, fearing he would attack Zhao Ming. When she had gone to buy food for Zhao Ming, she had noticed a shadow flash past. She knew it was Tang San.

So, Xiao Wu hurried back, and upon seeing this scene, she felt a wave of relief wash over her. If sothing had happened to Zhao Ming, she would never forgive herself.

"Tang San? You ca back so quickly?" he said, startled. He hadn't expected Xiao Wu to return so soon.

But he quickly hardened his gaze, deciding to kill Zhao Ming first and then explain it to Xiao Wu.

However, Zhao Ming was not soone to be underestimated.

Anticipating Tang San's attack, he had already begun to mobilize his soul power.

Xiao Wu's sudden interruption gave Zhao Ming the opportunity he needed.

A surge of soul power erupted.

He called forth his martial spirit and unleashed his soul skill in one fluid motion.

In an instant, the Phoenix Spirit erged beside Zhao Ming.

"Fire Charm!" As Zhao Ming's soul skill, the Phoenix Spirit shared a deep connection with him. Receiving Zhao Ming's ntal command, she swiftly unleashed the Fire Charm.

With a light shout, a glimr sparkled in the Phoenix Spirit's otherwise lifeless eyes. The entire dormitory shimred with ripples.

Tang San was taken aback by the sudden attack of the Fire Charm, his eyes glazing over for a mont before he regained focus.

At that mont, the Phoenix Spirit kicked away the hidden weapons concealed in Tang San's sleeve.

Seeing the hidden weapons fly away, Zhao Ming finally let out a sigh of relief. Hidden weapons were unpredictable; even high-ranking soul masters could fall victim to them if they weren't careful.

anwhile, Xiao Wu had swiftly moved to Tang San's side, wrapping her scorpion tail braid around his neck and kicking at his calves, instantly bringing him down to the floor.

With a glint of red in her eyes, Xiao Wu's intent to kill was clear.

"Xiao Wu, don't kill him!" Zhao Ming quickly intervened. While he wanted to eliminate Tang San, he knew that dealing with Tang Hao, Tang San's father, would be an entirely different challenge. If they truly killed Tang San, the aftermath could be dire.

Hearing Zhao Ming's words, the red light in Xiao Wu's eyes faded, and she glared coldly at Tang San, who was clutching his stomach.

"Just as I suspected, I knew you would try to harm us," Xiao Wu said coldly.

At that mont, Tang San was dumbfounded. He hadn't expected his plan to fail and for Xiao Wu to catch him in the act.

"Xiao Wu, I... I..."

"What do you an 'I'? At this point, what more do you have to say? I never thought you would be so deranged as to harm your classmates. It's one thing to target , given my special identity. But Zhao Ming is just like you; how could you bring yourself to hurt him?" Xiao Wu shouted at Tang San, her anger boiling over.

Zhao Ming had nearly been seriously injured again because of him, and that drove her nearly to madness.

Moreover, this wasn't the first ti Zhao Ming had faced danger because of this person!

Seeing the venomous hatred in Xiao Wu's eyes, Tang San's expression changed. He hadn't realized things had co to this point.

"Xiao Wu, you don't understand. Zhao Ming is a liar. He's not a good person." Tang San was flustered as he scrambled to his feet, grabbing Xiao Wu's sleeve in panic.

"Hmph. I might not know what kind of person Zhao Ming is, but I've certainly seen what kind of person you are," Xiao Wu said coldly, pulling her hand away from Tang San's grip.

"Xiao Wu, listen to . Zhao Ming is a demon. It should have been by your side. Do you understand? You should truly love !" Tang San gasped, speaking hurriedly.

"Do you rember back then when you followed around calling 'brother,' when we used to sleep together, and you even asked to braid your hair...?" Tang San stamred.

"How could you slander a girl's purity like that..." Xiao Wu trembled with anger.

When did I ever ask him to braid my hair? And sleep together? This is utter nonsense!

What if Zhao Ming misunderstood? I'm not that kind of loose woman, and I certainly didn't do those things!

She couldn't believe that even now, Tang San would try to tarnish her na and malign her character!

This person was truly despicable!
