The commotion in the Star Dou Forest was sothing unnoticed by Qian Renjue.
As the black box on the coffee table disappeared, a faint pink glow flashed.
The first thing that appeared before Qian Renjue was a pair of small, pink, long ears.
Next, a pair of bright red eyes erged.
A soft, fluffy ball of fur with four short legs.
"A rabbit?!"
Qian Renjue's mouth dropped in astonishnt.
Just as he was about to bemoan his bad luck, the system's voice tily rang in his ear.
[Random box successfully opened.]
[Congratulations to the host, you've obtained a Hundred thousand years Soft Bone Rabbit! (5 years summoning ti)]
Qian Renjue blinked.
He stared at the little pink rabbit, no more than twenty centiters long.
The shock on his face turned into confusion, suspicion, and a hint of doubt.
No matter how he looked at it, this little thing didn't seem like it had a hundred-thousand-year cultivation!
As Qian Renjue stared at the rabbit, the rabbit also stared back at him, its red eyes filled with confusion and curiosity.
It even seed sowhat bewildered.
Then the rabbit suddenly shuddered all over.
It hurriedly looked around, staring at its tiny front limbs.
Its red eyes were filled with bewildernt.
What's going on? Why am I here all of a sudden? I was doing fine just now.
I already succeeded in transforming into a human!

A short, pitiful cry ca from the rabbit as it began calling out in all directions, seemingly searching for sothing.

Chirps and squeaks echoed.

Qian Renjue, watching the dazed pink rabbit on the coffee table, was left speechless.
"This rabbit doesn't seem very smart... Does it really have hundred-thousand-year cultivation?"
Suspicious, Qian Renjue extended a large hand with spread fingers, ready to grab the pink rabbit.
Squeak—!
Seeing the looming hand overhead, the rabbit's bright red eyes flashed with fear.
It let out a short, sharp cry.
"Hmm?"
The sudden cry made Qian Renjue freeze for a mont.
"Don't run!"
Before the words finished leaving his mouth—
Whoosh!
The Soft Bone Rabbit kicked its four short legs at once and imdiately bolted off the coffee table.
Crash!
A glass fell and shattered on the ground.
Whimper!

A pink blur leaped out of the window with a whimpering sound.
"..."
Qian Renjue frowned and imdiately followed the rabbit out of the window.
His eyes glead with white light.
In the yard, everything was quiet, and there was no sign of the rabbit.
"Didn't the system say it can't go too far?"
Qian Renjue muttered as he dashed out of the yard.
If this really was a hundred-thousand-year soul beast, he would suffer a great loss if it escaped!
Squeak squeak!
The Soft Bone Rabbit, kicking its short legs in a frenzy, had already hidden in the grass by the hillside and was continuing its mad dash down the mountain.
(Where on earth am I?! Ah—!)
Squeak—!
Suddenly, the rabbit, speeding down the slope, stumbled and let out a sharp cry.
It tumbled head over heels down the grassy slope, hitting rocks and bouncing into the air.
Buzz!
Space distorted, and the Soft Bone Rabbit vanished into thin air.
...
Thud!
Qian Renjue had just stepped out of the yard when space shimred above him, and sothing heavy landed on his shoulder.
Imdiately after, there was another thud as a furry ball hit the ground.
"Back already?"
Qian Renjue looked at the dazed Soft Bone Rabbit lying on the ground, surprised.
He crouched down and was about to grab it.
The rabbit shakily got to its feet, its head was still dizzy
Suddenly, a shadow lood overhead.
It lifted its red eyes to see a handso face and a big hand, with a warm yet curious smile that looked like that of a devil.
Squeak—!
The rabbit scread again.
Its drooping ears stood upright in fear, its red eyes filled with terror.
Before its mind could clear, its hind legs kicked off the ground, launching itself like an arrow.
Bang!
Qian Renjue looked at the rabbit, now lying at the door, twitching its short legs.
He couldn't help but fall into deep thought.
By now, he was certain.
This rabbit was really stupid.
"Can this rabbit really have hundred-thousand-year cultivation?"
Qian Renjue crouched down, tugging at one of the twitching short legs, his face full of disbelief.
His voice was like a death sentence to the rabbit.
'How did he know that I'm a Hundred thousand years old soul beast?'
The Soft Bone Rabbit leapt to its feet again and frantically sprinted away.
This ti, Qian Renjue didn't stop it.
He just quietly watched it run off.
After all, it would co back before long.
Squeak squeak!
The rabbit continued to call for help in its heart, desperate to escape from the human trying to kill it.
With all its might, it fled.
Thud!
Crash! Crash—!
Qian Renjue sat in the courtyard, sipping tea and reading a book.
He listened to the sounds of the rabbit crashing into things.
After countless failed attempts to escape, it seed the rabbit was truly a defective product.
Thud!
Another dull thump echoed.
The Soft Bone Rabbit landed on Qian Renjue's shoulder and rolled to the ground.
"Huh?"
Qian Renjue raised an eyebrow and looked down at the rabbit, laughing softly.
"Haha..."
As Qian Renjue laughed, the Soft Bone Rabbit, utterly defeated, seed to have tears welling up in its red eyes.
"Have you accepted your fate?"
Qian Renjue put down his book and picked up the dirt-covered rabbit.
Grabbing its soft ears, he shook off the dust.
"Whimper!"
The Soft Bone Rabbit whimpered softly, like a girl about to be bullied, its tear-filled eyes looking pitiful as Qian Renjue carried it back into the house.
(Da Ming, Er Ming... Sister Xiao Wu is going to die... whimper!)

Squeak—!
From the bathroom, a sharp cry suddenly rang out.
A pink blur, covered in water droplets, shot out of the bathroom.
It crouched on the carpet, glaring at Qian Renjue with all its fur standing on end.
Its short hind legs pressed together, trembling slightly.
Beneath the pink fur on its face, a faint red hue was visible.
Its bright red eyes were filled with sha and anger.
Qian Renjue wiped the water off his face and looked helplessly at the rabbit.
He remarked curiously, "Can rabbits get embarassed? But at least you're clean now..."
Squeak squeak!
The Soft Bone Rabbit let out a warning sound as Qian Renjue approached.
But how could a human fear a rabbit, especially a foolish one?
Grinding its teeth, the rabbit's red eyes showed a hint of determination as it kicked its short legs and leaped toward Qian Renjue's face.
Squeak—!
With a sharp cry, the foolish rabbit was caught by Qian Renjue and wrapped tightly in a towel.
"You really are quite dumb..."
Qian Renjue smirked.
He still couldn't believe this was a hundred-thousand-year-old rabbit.
After letting the bundled-up rabbit roll around for a bit, he finally released it from the towel and placed it on the table.
"Don't run around!"
Qian Renjue gently pressed the dizzy rabbit onto the table and reached for a knife from the fruit platter.
The cold blade glead nacingly.
The rabbit imdiately tried to flee, but Qian Renjue easily grabbed it again.
Whimper!
One hand holding the knife, the other clutching the rabbit, Qian Renjue complained, "I told you not to move. You can't escape anyway."
