Chapter 937: Chapter 936: Playing Dumb

After being delayed for a bit, Wufu and Ah Jiu didn’t have ti to discuss their doubts, after all, there would be plenty of opportunities later on.

The two smoothly arrived at the highest point outside the Moon Viewing Pavilion and crouched down.

“There’s soone at ten o’clock, five o’clock, and three o’clock.” Wufu glanced around and frowned.

“Hmm?”

Wufu heard Ah Jiu’s puzzled voice and rembered they didn’t use clock directions here, so she had to look up at the sun in the sky, recalibrate the orientation, and then talk about the people hidden in the shadows.

“There are two more on the rooftop.” Ah Jiu looked up at the top.

Wufu glanced, then looked down: “There are guards at the entrance of the courtyard too, the Tenth Prince really has this place guarded like Copper City Iron Wall.”

As they spoke, another group of five guards with long spears lined up and patrolled over.

“Now we’ll see if your plan succeeds.” Ah Jiu chuckled.

“What if it fails?” Wufu gave him a side glance.

“Then we’ll retreat.” Ah Jiu’s eyes turned, “How about we give ourselves so cover first?”

“How?”

“Sixth Prince.” Ah Jiu whispered sothing in her ear.

Wufu nodded and silently slid down. Soon, she appeared in sight looking flustered.

“Stop, where did you co from?” The guard at the entrance shouted at Wufu.

Wufu said: “I-I ca from Li Garden, brother, have you seen a man wearing azure clothes and a Purple Jade Crown?”

“Looking for a man all the way here?” The guard looked at her suspiciously.

Wufu showed a crying face: “I-I was leading him to Li Garden, he said he’d walk by himself, but now he’s gone, I’ve lost him. What should I do? This brother, please help

find him. If he wanders sowhere he shouldn’t, I’ll be punished by the steward.”

“If he’s not here, he must have left, what else? Just go back to your own position and work.” The guard sneered.

Wufu stupidly replied oh and foolishly ran away.

“Are there still such dumb maids in the mansion?” Another guard watched Wufu run away and said.

“Probably a newcor. She lost soone and is afraid of being punished if they wander sowhere they shouldn’t. For this Picking Spring Festival, the mansion added quite a few people these days. Don’t mind, just guard our positions…” The guard spoke as he fell down.

The other guard was startled: “You how…” and he too fell softly.

A bird chirped.

At the sa ti, Wufu gestured to Ah Jiu on that side, leapt onto the wall, and approached the hidden people.

Ah Jiu didn’t delay, found the gaps, and also leapt into the courtyard, dealing with those hidden in the shadows one by one.

A quarter of an hour later, Wufu stood in the center of the courtyard of Moon Viewing Pavilion, out of breath, several people gradually appeared before her, including Ah Jiu.

“All dealt with?” Wufu looked at Chi Yi, noticing a dark red stain on his hem.

Chi Yi nodded: “They’re all our people.”

Wufu slightly nodded, carefully checking around, realizing there were indeed no hidden people, she felt sowhat relieved.

“You stay at the entrance, ready to retreat at any ti.” Wufu instructed Chi Yi.

“Yes.” Chi Yi and another Hidden Guard pretended to be guards and stationed at the courtyard entrance.

“Let’s go in.” Ah Jiu was filled with a murderous aura, clearly just having been through a fierce battle.

Wufu responded with a grunt, following him inside the so-called Copper City Iron Wall Moon Viewing Pavilion, attentively observing the surroundings and details.
