Chapter 821: Chapter 820: After the Disaster

Ah Jiu instinctively turned Wufu’s hand over in his grip. He was angry. Even though he knew Wufu was saving soone, the thod, the technique, still made him angry.

"What the hell..." Wufu frowned.

A huge wave struck, and the ship trembled violently. The two were already standing; the shake of the ship made it impossible to maintain their footing, and they imdiately rolled onto the ground.

During this rolling, Ah Jiu’s gaze caught sight of a loose nail wedged in the wooden slats. Without thinking, he quickly pulled Wufu, who was about to roll over it, switching positions with her and holding her to his chest. The force caused his back to heavily impale on that nail.

Ah Jiu let out a muffled groan, furrowing his brow.

Wufu’s heart tightened instantly: "Ah Jiu?"

"Don’t move." Ah Jiu held her close, eyes slightly closed.

Yuan Ye and Hu Die watched and quickly averted their eyes.

Yan Er sat dumbly in a corner, touching his lips subconsciously. What had just happened?

The tower ship swayed back and forth among the waves, like a lone leaf, solitary and miserable. What was once a huge ship looked like a small leaf from above, helpless amidst this natural disaster.

No matter how wild the storm is, it will pass.

Just when everyone couldn’t tell how much ti had passed and thought the ship would completely fall apart, the waves seed to lighten a bit, and the wind and rain gradually lessened.

"Is it... is it stopping?" Jadeite was the first to find her voice.

Everyone looked toward the window, and sure enough, at so unknown mont, the dark clouds outside had dispersed. The sky was tinged with white, and the scenery outside the window was clearly visible.

Large waves could still be seen coming one after another, but they weren’t roaring. They rely let the ship bob within them.

Wufu climbed up from Ah Jiu’s body and urgently pulled him up: "Where are you hurt?"

She hadn’t forgotten the muffled groan he had let out earlier.

She turned Ah Jiu over and saw his clothes were already stained red with blood, causing her to press her lips tightly.

She took off the things on Ah Jiu and instructed Yuan Ye: "Go find Bai Xiaobai."

"Don’t rush!" Ah Jiu pressed her hand: "Did the storm pass?"

Wufu glanced outside: "Don’t worry, won’t die." Saying that, she also took off her small backpack, pulled out a bottle of golden sore dicine, and prepared to treat his wound.

She tore open the clothing on Ah Jiu’s back to find a nail deeply embedded below the Scapula, leaving only the nail’s end visible.

"Purple Jade, light the fire." Wufu took a sharp breath.

Purple Jade had already cut the rope and, following her instructions, lit the fire. Wufu took out the Butterfly Knife, first burning off any poison in the flas, then said to Ah Jiu: "The nail needs to be extracted, or it will get infected and fester."

Ah Jiu nodded.

Yan Xiaobai was carried over by Yuan Ye, his face pale. Wufu glanced at him, furrowing her brow.

"Are you alright?" Wufu asked him.

Bai Xiaobai looked at her with a dazed expression, his eyes blank. Clearly, he had also experienced sothing unforgettable in another room, and he hadn’t co back to his senses yet!

In this state, no one could expect him to calmly help with Ah Jiu’s wound.

At this mont, Wufu did not waste words, saying to Ah Jiu: "Bear with it." She used her experience to steadily and quickly cut within the area around the nail.

Ah Jiu inhaled sharply, his forehead veins bulging.

The ship still slowly tossed; the storm outside had stopped, and the sky was bright. Each person felt like a survivor of a disaster, still unable to gather their thoughts.

Only Wufu seed to have rely gone through a mild storm, remaining calm and composed as she treated the man’s wound.
