Was this a combination of Eastern and Western styles?
The unusual attire quite stimulated Wufu’s eyes, and the corners of his mouth twitched slightly.
Ah Jiu also failed to recognize the person at first, until the man rushed over to him.

Yan Er tugged at his clothes and replied, "Yes, that’s right. Looks good, doesn’t it?"
"If sir were wearing a top hat, it would probably look better," Wufu responded tangentially, glancing at his head and struggling to hold back laughter.
Yan Er said, "I had one of those too, but, you see, it was very windy when I disembarked, and it blew away. I couldn’t very well jump into the sea to fetch it, could I?"

Jadeite snickered with laughter.
Wufu also couldn’t help but laugh out loud, this Mr. Yan was rather amusing.

"Hold on!" Wufu exclaid upon hearing his self-proclamation, then turned to Ah Jiu, "Is this the man you ntioned before, the ’Master of Top Scholar’ who hogs the privy without taking a dump?"
