Wen Congrui awoke with his face ashen, his head splitting and, to make things worse, soone beside him sobbing softly.
"Stop crying!" Wen Congrui waved his hand irritably; his head felt as if it were about to explode.
Lan Shu, seeing him awake, hurriedly got up and chided, "Master should not have drunk such strong liquor; how can your body withstand it!"
Wen Congrui, out of patience, said, "Go brew so light soup."
Lan Shu noticed his irritation and dared not speak further; she called Nan Shan to look after him and left quickly.
Listening to Nan Shan relate how he had fallen before Ah Jiu, Wen Congrui’s face grew even more unsightly.
At the sa ti, Ah Jiu also opened her eyes, faring no better than Wen Congrui, feeling as if her head was about to burst. With a painful groan, she called for soone in a hoarse voice.
Xiao Li entered, bowed deeply, and asked, "Has Your Highness awakened?"
"Water!"

Ah Jiu was sowhat stunned, "I slept that long?"

Xiao Li then recounted her drunken behavior in detail, ending with, "If Bai Xiaobai hadn’t interrupted, Your Highness would probably have ’sampled the fragrance’ by now!"
Ah Jiu’s mouth twitched, and she glared at him, annoyed, "Go get so food."
"Yes, Your Highness!"
Once he left, Ah Jiu touched her lips; she had kissed Wufu’s hand and even wanted to kiss her...
