Chapter 606: Chapter 605: Rectification

Zhou Xuennian and his wife were dragged out, but the world did not quiet down, as there were children crying loudly.

Wufu looked over, and saw that it was Zhou Eryong’s six-year-old child, wailing in terror as he witnessed his parents being taken away by the Yan Runners.

Seeing Wufu’s gaze, Zhou Xiuer finally snapped out of the shock from the string of calamities and covered her little brother’s mouth, looking at her with frightened eyes as her lips trembled, “Wufu…”

Terrifying, this woman before her eyes, was too terrifying.

“Wuu wuu…”

Wufu looked at the siblings expressionlessly, her brow furrowed, just as she was about to give an order, Madam Zhou hurried over.

Seeing Madam Zhou, Zhou Xiuer seed to have seen a savior, dragging Yongyong quickly out and knelt down before her with a thud, crying and saying, “Auntie, save us.”

Wufu’s brow raised, her gaze landing on Zhou Xiuer.

“Wufu,” Madam Zhou had already heard that her brother and sister-in-law had been taken away by the Yan Runners. These little ones couldn’t also be driven out, right? It was already dark.

“Auntie, we are innocent. Yongyong and I didn’t know mother did such a thing, we genuinely ca to wish you a Happy New Year,” Zhou Xiuer, seeing Madam Zhou’s heart softening, cried and pleaded. She then said to her little brother, “Yongyong, quick, kowtow to auntie.”

As she spoke, she didn’t wait for Yongyong to respond, pressing his head down to kowtow; in no ti at all, his forehead turned red.

“Auntie, please don’t drive us away.”

Madam Zhou’s heart softened, and she quickly pulled Yongyong up, looking at Wufu with pleading eyes.

The two little ones hid behind Madam Zhou.

Wufu said to Madam Zhou, “Send them away tomorrow.”

This ant they were allowed to stay for one more night.

Madam Zhou let out a sigh of relief. She was really afraid that Wufu would kick even these two children out the door; she feared Wufu’s heart was so cold that she wouldn’t spare even the children.

As Wufu walked past Madam Zhou with her maid, she stopped, staring at Zhou Xiuer and warned, “Don’t try to manipulate

here; you can’t outsmart , and don’t even think about scheming anything. Otherwise, your parents’ fate will be a warning to you.”

Zhou Xiuer’s body shook, and she lowered her head to hide the resentnt and unwillingness in her eyes.

After Wufu left, Yongyong pulled on Madam Zhou’s clothes, crying and shouting, “Auntie, I want father and mother.”

Madam Zhou looked away.

Zhou Xiuer then said, “Yongyong, be quiet. Father and mother did sothing wrong, they must be punished before they can return.”

Qiu Xiang, standing to the side, glanced at her, her eyes flickering several tis.

Yongyong burst into loud cries, and Madam Zhou, with a headache, ordered, “Qiu Xiang, go to the kitchen and get so food, take them to the guest room.”

“Yes, Madam!”

“Auntie, can’t we stay with you?” Zhou Xiuer imdiately clung to her arm, her eyes brimming with tears, “Auntie, we are scared, let us stay with you.”

Madam Zhou, looking at her pitiful state, closed her eyes for a mont, then reopened them and said, “Xiuxiu, stay in the guest room for one night; I will send soone to take you back to Wozi Village tomorrow evening.”

Zhou Xiuer’s face changes, and she beseechingly pleads, “Auntie, we will behave, we won’t engage in sches and trickery.”

“What Wufu says, even I cannot change,” Madam Zhou said, “If you insist on staying here, your parents will never be released.”

It must be said, Madam Zhou understood Wufu quite well; she knew that this ti Wufu was determined to deal with that couple and would not hesitate to sche. It was obvious, having angered Wufu, how could she let them out of the prison easily?

One feared that her greedy brother and sister-in-law were dood to suffer a great deal!
