Chapter 591: Chapter 591: Sect Leader’s Son Flirting with n
Purple Jade looked at Wufu, who adored the Grand Eldest Princess, and couldn’t help feeling uneasy, fearing the girl might truly believe that the Grand Eldest Princess’s behavior was admirable and extraordinary.
“Miss, with that expression, do you think the Grand Eldest Princess did nothing wrong?” Purple Jade asked cautiously.
Wufu looked at her in wonder and countered, “Where did the Grand Eldest Princess go wrong?”
“Er… in the eyes of the sages and scholars, these are shaful acts of private immorality, especially since she is an Imperial Princess. I heard that a scholar criticized the Grand Eldest Princess for corrupt morals, declaring she was unworthy of being a Royal Princess and demanded that she be expelled from the Imperial Family and sent to a temple for penance!”
“What happened after that?”
“Afterwards, that scholar was executed, and no one dared to say anything about it anymore.” Purple Jade’s face was a picture of unspeakable secrets.
“Deserved it!” Wufu snorted, saying, “When the Grand Eldest Princess went to marry into a Foreign Tribe, a woman marrying so far away, to a foreign land, separated from her holand, didn’t people at that ti likely say that it was her duty as a Royal Princess?”
Purple Jade nodded; indeed, that was the case.
“Nonsense! Who says a Royal Princess must sacrifice? Yes, they enjoy the honors they deserve, and they do have a responsibility to pay for those honors, you know. To enjoy them, one must also give sothing in return. But in fact, everyone has the right to make their own choices by virtue of being human. She chose to sacrifice for the country and had her share of suffering. When she ca back, how could she not be entitled to honors? Just because she kept a few people to relieve her boredom, she’s now considered immoral? Without her sacrifice, would those so-called moral high grounders enjoy the peace she brought?”
“People, if they can take advantage of a situation, that’s one thing, but there’s nothing more hateful than those who take advantage and then act smug,” Wufu scoffed coldly.
Purple Jade was stunned by her words.
“What, do you think what I’ve said is incorrect?” Wufu glanced at her side-eye, “Purple Jade, rember, even though you are my servant, you have the right to choose. If you truly don’t want to do sothing I ask of you, you can absolutely refuse, and I will never fault you for it.”
Purple Jade chuckled and said, “The servant didn’t say anything, I was just thinking, Mistress, with your temperant, you’d probably get along with the Grand Eldest Princess.”
They both despised evil and were indifferent to the different gazes of the world.
Wufu nodded, as if that were entirely natural, saying, “If I ever get the chance to et that master, I really would want to ask her how she managed it.”
The corners of Purple Jade’s mouth twitched fiercely, and she hurriedly changed the subject, “Mistress, His Highness is angry, and it must be because of what you said; after all, n and won think differently.”
“I am well aware, throughout the past five thousand years, the belief in male superiority over won has persisted, and even in future generations, it still exists. It’s extrely difficult for a woman to turn the tables and beco the master,” Wufu sighed.
Purple Jade found it difficult to respond to that statent, and chose to remain silent.
“But I have spoken my piece, can I take it back?” Wufu said, “And if he’s still angry, is he even a man?”
“This… n need to be coaxed, too,” Purple Jade mumbled under her breath.
Wufu heard her nonetheless and pointed at herself, “You want
to coax him?”
“The servant wouldn’t dare!”
Wufu gave a light snort and after a mont asked, “How does one coax?”
Purple Jade smiled, “I’ve heard His Highness is quite fond of sweets; if Miss has the inclination, why not make so treats and send them over?”
Wufu’s eyes widened. Make sweets, to coax him?
She looked sideways at Purple Jade and after a long, cold mont said, “Purple Jade, are you sure you’re not teaching your mistress how to flirt?”
Ahem?
