After sending off Tie Hanyang and Master Gui’s group, Wufu and her companions packed up, preparing to return to Changan City. Just as they left Shengyun Town, they saw Yuan Ye and Commander Yi leading a group towards them on horseback.
"Well, they received the news quickly," Wufu remarked, raising an eyebrow.
Ah Jiu remained silent, his expression a bit strange, as he hadn’t instructed Xiao Li to send any ssages.
"Sir, you’ve finally co out!" Yuan Ye exclaid with joy upon seeing them. He jumped off his horse, knelt on one knee to salute, then raised his head and spoke seriously, "Sir, there’s trouble!"
