In the quiet of the night, the hymns of the choir echo through the Cathedral District. The towering church buildings are brightly lit, and priests and nuns move about under the lights.
Deep within the district, in a dimly lit chapel, stands a small statue of the Holy Mother. In front of the statue, a large magical circle is drawn, with a sun-like emblem at its center. Inside the sun emblem is an inverted triangle.
At the center of the room is a long dining table, where only one person sits—Vania, dressed in her nun’s habit.
Vania sits alone at the large dining table. In front of her, a candle burns on a candlestick, illuminating a lavish al. A glass of wine sits beside several exquisite plates filled with fruits, bread, and other delicacies. The centerpiece of the al is a perfectly seared, aromatic steak.
Using silver utensils, Vania enjoys the delicious al before her. She cuts the steak into small pieces, spears them with her fork, and savors each bite, nodding in satisfaction.
“So delicious~ This flavor is truly amazing. Every ti I receive a blessed al, it’s such a treat… I never expected choosing the path of the Holy Mother to co with such perks~”
As she enjoys the al, Vania feels a sense of happiness. The steak and its accompanying dishes are known as Blessed als, part of the reward she received after successfully reporting Cork.
Vania quickly finishes the al in front of her. Just as she wipes her mouth with a napkin, the door to the room opens, and an elderly nun in a black habit enters. She walks over to Vania, who imdiately stands up and bows.
"Sister Anlei..."
"Haha, no need to be so formal every ti, Sister Vania. We who follow the Holy Mother should be more gentle and easygoing. When it cos to etiquette, just relax."
The elderly nun, Anlei, smiles as she speaks. Hearing her words, Vania straightens up. Anlei glances at the empty plates on the table and smiles.
"It seems you’ve finished your Blessed al. By my calculations, you’ve accumulated enough Chalice spirituality. Combined with your already sufficient Lantern, you now et all the spiritual requirents for advancent. You can begin the advancent ritual."

In the Radiance Church, most Beyonders follow the Lantern path. For clergy like priests and nuns, the primary thod of accumulating Lantern spirituality is through religious rituals and prayers.
Sincere and focused prayers, offered in a specific manner to the Three Saints, will result in the saints bestowing spirituality upon the faithful, which accumulates within their bodies. During large collective religious ceremonies, offering sacrifices and praying together with the group can move the saints even more, resulting in greater spiritual rewards.
Daily prayers and participation in religious ceremonies are the main thods for clergy to accumulate spirituality. Unlike other thods of accumulating spirituality, their spirituality cos directly from divine blessings. The faithful offer their devotion to the saints, and the saints, in turn, bestow spirituality upon them.
Thus, the fact that Vania’s Lantern spirituality is now fully accumulated brings Sister Anlei great satisfaction, as it proves that Vania is a devout believer.

In the dead of night, inside Green Shade Town No. 17, Dorothy sits in her study. On the desk in front of her are a gas lamp and the Literary Sea Logbook.
Dorothy flips through the logbook to the page where she communicates with Vania. Just monts ago, Vania sent her an important ssage—she has finally successfully advanced to the Black Earth rank.
After the Deacon Cork incident, Dorothy learned that Vania had been granted the opportunity to advance as a reward for reporting Cork. Dorothy has been keeping an eye on Vania’s progress, and after so ti, Vania has finally succeeded.
