On the Blue Star, the No Retreat Army compound was a hubbub.
A group of No Retreat Army soldiers—along with the other people—were packing their clothes, preparing to leave and head for Unfallen City.
After the discussion during the eting the day before, most of the people in the No Retreat Army were inclined to join Unfallen City.
After all, in this apocalyptic world, being able to live in a human main city was far safer than living in the wilderness. This was an option that was hard to refuse.
Link’s strength and character had also been acknowledged by the No Retreat Army’s soldiers.

At this mont, another voice from the city battlents shouted fiercely, “Stop.”
The blood shadow stopped moving, turned his head to look at the city, and spoke in a sowhat stuttering voice. “Those who violate Unfallen City... Crush...”
Link shook his head, and a touch of helplessness flashed across his face.
This blood shadow’s original will had been erased, though the creature’s instincts were retained because of [Eternal Sleep]’s effects.
The blood shadow was like a newborn beast, still a bit confused or a bit stupid.
It was a good thing Link had a spiritual connection with the blood shadow and could feel everything that was happening on his side. Otherwise, there was really a possibility that there could be big trouble.
“Co back,” commanded Link firmly.
The huge blood shadow imdiately turned around and returned to Unfallen City’s gates, morphing into a two-ter-tall, blood-colored figure. He opened his bloody mouth wide open and grinned at Link.
This made Link feel like he had a silly son.
Zhao Yongkang and the others were all frozen in place with dumbfounded looks on their faces! They had yet to understand the situation.
Yang Xuerou explained to the crowd below the city. “Gentlen, sorry, this is our City Master’s pet. It’s supposed to be the city’s guardian beast. Apologies for scaring everyone.”
“Eh...” It took a while before Zhao Yongkang and the others recovered from the shock they had just had. When they heard these words, they were once again shocked.
