Chapter 115: Spiders! Bloodseeker Attacks!
“Monsters?” Lu Da wore a confused look.
It was already the tenth day of the apocalyptic world. Skeletons and Undead running wild in the world was no novel thing. What other ‘monsters’ could make a person have such a huge reaction?
Liu Hao’s face was dreadfully pale; all the color had left his face.
“Yes, they’re monsters, monsters brought by the Black Dragon Gang. They are spiders... Many... spiders!” Liu Hao shouted fearfully. His body trembled, and he started vomiting uncontrollably.
A light-green liquid gushed out of his mouth.
It was unknown whether it was bile or sothing else. There even seed to be living things—which were densely packed together like a cluster of eggs—struggling on the ground.
Lu Da felt uneasy for so reason and asked, “Brother, are you okay? Do you want to let the Priest give you treatnt?”
Who would’ve thought that Liu Hao would suddenly push Lu Da aside and stomp on the floundering egg clusters like he had gone mad while screaming?
“Kill ! Quickly kill ! It’s these... It’s these damn things that ruined everything! To think... I’ve been infected too! Quickly, kill ! I don’t want to beco a monster!”
A speck of surprise flashed across everyone’s face. They were completely at a loss of what to do with the scene before them.
Link’s eyes narrowed slightly. “Step back.”
Lu Da, Yang Xuerou, and the others all moved away.
Right during these few breaths of ti—when everyone was caught unaware—Liu Hao started vomiting violently. His body convulsed as if he was going to puke out his organs!
Liu Hao bowed his head with his body hunched, and his limbs twisted into deford postures. Many blisters swelled up on the surface of his skin.
A terrifying cry sounded from Liu Hao’s abdon. Like the cold winds of hell, it scraped past everyone’s ears.
Liu Hao’s expression was of extre pain, and his face contorted. Both of his hands scratched at his head and skin, leaving behind glaring and bloody streaks. His skin and flesh were turned out.
“Quick! It’s too late! Kill !”

The lumps broke.
As minced flesh spattered, a spear-shaped limb covered in dense black hair word out of Liu Hao’s back!
The present Liu Hao was like a ghost that had crawled out of hell; he had lost his human form.
Such a strange sight made everyone feel suffocated. A chill quietly crawled up their spines!
“...” Many people drew in a cold breath, unable to utter a single word at all.
At this mont, a wind howl abruptly sounded—it was like the roars of dragons and tigers!
Silver-colored sword energy appeared instantly and directly ripped apart Liu Hao’s abdon, causing blood clots to splatter!
Liu Hao—who was struggling violently—paused in his actions and gradually dropped to his knees. There wasn’t the slightest resentnt on his face. Instead, a hint of relief flashed across it.
“Thank you... Thank you, City Master Link... You must save No Retreat Army! You people... are our last hope!” Liu Hao exerted his everything to cough up the final sentence.
His face stuck to the ground. His eyes had lost their radiance and were wide open; he couldn’t die in peace.
Crimson-red blood with crushed organs flowed out from the corner of his mouth. There were even fleshy bits covered in black hair amongst them. It was extrely strange and set off chills in one’s heart!
“Yuna, purify his body. Purify all of us as well,” commanded Link in a low voice, his countenance slightly cold.
He was the one who used his fingers as a sword just now, releasing a stream of [Spring and Autumn Sword Technique] sword energy to end Liu Hao’s suffering.
Having been a human for two lifetis, Link knew very well that Liu Hao had probably been parasitized by sothing.
Such a strange aberration reminded him of the Dark Sage. He subconsciously touched the [Mask of the Faceless] in his pocket.
Is the Black Dragon Gang related to the God of Evil... thought Link silently.
A holy glow lit up—the six-winged angel, Yuna, had cast [Holy Light Purification].
The golden halo of light moved like a ripple, spreading outward and sweeping across everyone.
Liu Hao’s deford corpse on the ground was burned into ashes by the golden holy flas.
Lu Da and the others also felt their minds refresh as if their souls had been cleansed.
“Brother Link, the No Retreat Army has probably encountered so kind of great terror! Are we going to rescue them?” Lu Da asked. After witnessing the earlier scene, his countenance still carried a few hints of paleness.
Expressionless, Link nodded slightly. “We are. The battle is nearing the end, and you people are responsible for cleaning up the battleground. I will make a trip to No Retreat Army’s base.”
There was sothing odd about the monsters that No Retreat Army encountered, and they had sothing to do with the Black Dragon Gang.
How could Link—who had a deep grudge with the Black Dragon Gang—not go? Even though he did not share a lot in common, he absolutely wouldn’t allow the Black Dragon Gang to continue existing.
Luo Xingyao suddenly declared, “Lord, it’s too dangerous to head there alone. I am willing to follow Lord!”
Yang Xuerou and so other elites also expressed that they wanted to accompany Link.
But Link did not want to bring too many people. Ultimately, he only took two elites—Luo Xingyao and Qiao Ruowei—and swiftly rushed to No Retreat Army’s base.

Bloodseeker’s countenance instantly changed, and great surprise flashed through his eyes. “What!? Link defeated the Undead army? There is a Stage Six abyss monster among them! How could he have done it!?”
Bloodseeker’s tone was filled with astonishnt. He also couldn’t help muttering to himself, “Could it be that Link, this fellow, has a trump card that isn’t weaker than a Stage Six monster?”
“I also do not know how Link could fend off a Stage Six monster, but the situation is indeed so.”
A few droplets of cold sweat appeared on the forehead of the Blood Fiend Gang mber who ca to report the information. He could only respond once more in a low voice.
The crowd of Blood Fiend Gang mbers who heard the news also underwent violent changes in countenance.
The Stage Six monster—an absolute nightmare to humans at the present stage—was defeated?
Who could accept this news?
Everyone only cald down a long while later.
A Blood Fiend Gang mber said, “How is a Stage Six abyss creature sothing that can be defeated so easily? Link and company must have paid a significant price!”
“Yes, it must be that both sides sustained great losses!” Voices of agreent sounded very quickly.
“The current Unfallen City must be extrely hollow. They definitely won’t be able to resist our attack!”
“Gang Leader, are we going to act now?”
“Will we attack Unfallen City or stop the team going to No Retreat Army’s rescue?”
“Haha, we are finally going to taste warm, fresh blood after waiting for so long!”
Bloodseeker pondered for a mont, murmuring words like ‘Black Dragon Gang,”Link,’ and more. A hint of wariness flashed through his eyes.
Bloodseeker had sought refuge with a certain abyss existence and gained a firm foothold in the apocalypse’s early stages by using bloody thods. Thus, he had a certain understanding of the Black Dragon Gang.
They definitely weren’t a simple existence...
Bloodseeker’s eyes narrowed. He said decisively, “We will attack Unfallen City. We’ll let Link and the others—who have gone to act as reinforcents—battle it out with the Black Dragon Gang.”
Bloodseeker was no fool. Although he had no idea how Link won against the Stage Six monster, he could tell that Link certainly still had strength spare from how this person was rushing to rescue the No Retreat Army.
Besides, what Bloodseeker truly wanted was still in Unfallen City.
Upon thinking of that woman, a hint of heat flashed across Bloodseeker’s eyes like surging magma.
As for Link... If he could still return, it would be just nice for Bloodseeker to take off his head!
