Chapter 60: Healing the Black Cat

On the way, Xiao Feng increasingly felt that sothing was wrong with these thirteen girls. Just as they were about to reach the city, one of the girls suddenly had a pained expression on her face, collapsed to the ground, and began foaming at the mouth.

"What’s wrong with her?" Xiao Feng imdiately went over to check and had the healer-evolver attend to her.

However, to Xiao Feng’s surprise, the healer-evolver had a cold and indifferent tone as he said, "Boss, the commander instructed

to only treat your pet this ti. I won’t waste my energy on others, especially just an ordinary person like her."

"Are you even human? She’s still a person!" Xiao Feng angrily grabbed the healer-evolver’s collar and shouted.

In the next mont, the other people in the car pointed their guns at Xiao Feng.

"Sorry, boss, please release the healer-evolver. Our mission is to protect him," one of the team leaders nervously told Xiao Feng.

He had heard about Xiao Feng’s strength, but the commander’s instructions were not to be violated.

"Do you all want to die?" Xiao Feng was furious, but it wasn’t the right ti to deal with them.

Helplessly, Xiao Feng had to let go of the healer-evolver. They continued on to the restaurant, and Xiao Feng breathed a sigh of relief.

The healer-evolver approached the Black Cat after arriving at the restaurant, but when he saw the cat’s injuries, he shook his head, saying, "Boss, the Black Cat is severely injured. I can’t save it. Even if I try, it would be a waste of energy."

"You haven’t even tried, how can you say it’s unsalvageable?" Xiao Feng grabbed the healer-evolver and pushed him against the table.

In an instant, more than twenty people pointed their guns at Xiao Feng again.

However, the situation was different now; they were inside the restaurant, not outside.

Without hesitation, Xiao Feng’s psychokinesis surged, and more than twenty people were sent flying by a wave of psychokinetic force, crashing into the wall.

"Can’t save it? You’re not going to live either!" Xiao Feng’s fist smashed onto the table in front of the healer-evolver.

The table exploded, and the healer-evolver’s face turned pale. He no longer displayed his previous arrogance.

Healer-evolvers were quite rare, and in most large shelters, they were highly valued. Even the Bai siblings in Shelter No. 9 treated him with great respect. This had given the healer-evolver a sense of superiority and arrogance within the shelter.

But this ti, the healer-evolver wasn’t going to be reluctant anymore.

The healer-evolver waved his hands, and a milky-white energy appeared in his palms. Then he placed his hands on the injured part of the Black Cat.

As the milky-white energy entered the body, Xiao Feng actually saw the Black Cat’s hind legs move slightly.

"It’s working!" Xiao Feng rejoiced. The effectiveness of the treatnt was likely related to the enhanced ration he had given to the Black Cat earlier.

After so treatnt, Xiao Feng noticed that the Black Cat’s hind legs could move slightly, but it would still take so ti for it to fully recover and walk again.

After a while, the healer-evolver wiped his face, exhausted, and drenched in cold sweat. The high-intensity treatnt had taken a toll on him.

Faced with Xiao Feng’s threats, the healer-evolver didn’t dare to slack off.

Crack! Xiao Feng took out a second-tier green crystal core and slamd it on the table. "Now you can leave; this is your reward."

"We dare not, we dare not. You are a friend of our commander, and we have an obligation to help you with the treatnt," the healer-evolver repeatedly waved his hands, not daring to accept the crystal core.

However, Xiao Feng paid no heed to their objections. "You can take the crystal core. If you are willing, you can co back every day to help with the treatnt until it’s completely healed. If you refuse, I won’t force you, but if you co, I’ll pay you with a second-tier crystal core as a reward each ti. The choice is yours."

Upon hearing this, the healer-evolver’s eyes lit up. This was an unexpected windfall that would never happen within the shelter.

"In that case, I agree. Of course, I agree!" The healer-evolver’s eyes shone as he had already figured out how to handle the Bai siblings later.

Afterward, more than twenty people quickly left the restaurant. Once outside, the healer-evolver imdiately warned the twenty protectors, "Don’t tell anyone about what happened today. As long as you help , I’ll share so of the energy I earn here with you. Additionally, I promise that if any of you get injured in the future, I’ll definitely provide treatnt."

Upon hearing this, the twenty people nodded in agreent. Honestly, the healer-evolver’s promise was more valuable to them than the energy.

Subsequently, more than twenty people left Yulin City. When they returned, the healer-evolver found Bai ng.

With a bitter expression, he said, "Commander, your friend is too terrifying. He told

to co here every day for treatnt, or he would kill !"

"Every day?" Bai ng furrowed his brows.

"Commander, you have to agree. You should let

go there. He’s really scary. If it weren’t for my slight usefulness today, he probably would have killed !" The healer-evolver spoke fearfully.

"Oh? Why did he almost kill you?" Bai ng asked in confusion.

"After I went there today and saw his injured black cat, I thought the cat’s injuries were too severe and couldn’t be treated. So, I initially didn’t intend to help. But unexpectedly, he imdiately sent more than twenty people who were guarding

flying with a single breath and then pressed

against the table and threatened !"

The healer-evolver pleaded.

"Just let

go there every day; I want to live for more years. Please don’t offend that person because of !"

"Alright," after a mont, Bai ng finally nodded.

Seeing this, the healer-evolver smiled subtly. Now he had a legitimate reason to provide treatnt.

He could earn a second-tier crystal core each ti, and by giving so hush money to those who protected him, he could make a profit.

In the restaurant, Xiao Feng prepared a soft cat bed for the black cat and placed it inside. Seeing Xiao Feng taking such good care of the injured cat, the others in the restaurant couldn’t help but admire him.

After ensuring the black cat was well taken care of, Xiao Feng went to the backyard. He had arranged for the female students he brought back to stay with Gao Ya. However, when he arrived in the backyard, he saw Gao Ya standing there looking troubled.

"What’s wrong, Gao Ya?" Xiao Feng walked over, puzzled.

"Brother Feng, I don’t know what’s happening, but all my classmates are completely ignoring . They won’t even say a word!" Gao Ya explained, her expression troubled.

Seeing this, Xiao Feng was also puzzled by the students’ behavior. But when he used the system to check their information, he was shocked.
