Chapter 358: His Second Aunt

The manager glanced back at the girl with annoyance. Frightened, she quickly turned away and left. Seeing this, Xiao Feng sighed, stood up, and began to walk out.

"Sir, sir..." The manager panicked and hurriedly ran after him. But Xiao Feng ignored the manager and went directly to the young attendant who resembled Liu Yan.

"I imagine if I just leave, you might get fired. Here’s my contact information. If you can’t continue working here, I can help you find a better job," Xiao Feng said, handing her a card and then walking away.

"Who do you think you are, pretending to be so big shot, just to hit on one of our staff," the manager scoffed disdainfully. "I knew it, who would be stupid enough to order seventy-two identical sets of armor?"

Xiao Feng shook his head, ignoring the manager’s taunts. Just then, a middle-aged man in a sharp suit walked in. They brushed past each other.

The manager, seeing the new arrival, imdiately ran over, excited.

"Boss, what brings you here?"

"I heard soone placed an order exceeding seventy million energy units, so I ca to check it out. Where is the custor?" The middle-aged man looked around, searching for the person.

It turned out that after hearing Xiao Feng’s words, the young attendant had quickly placed the order using the store’s computer, which alerted the boss. A single purchase of several million units indicated a significant client, and the boss, newly appointed, was eager to secure a stable custor base to solidify his position. Such a large order promised potential future business, offering a substantial profit.

"Hey, boss, that guy’s a fraud, pretending to be a big shot to trick our staff," the manager said dismissively. "Look, that’s him. He ran away when I saw through him," she added, pointing at Xiao Feng.

The middle-aged boss turned to look and furrowed his brows. That back seed familiar.

At that mont, Xiao Feng stopped, having heard the manager’s words. He slowly turned around and stared directly at the boss.

"Are you the owner?" Xiao Feng asked.

"Yes, I am the owner of this store," the middle-aged man nodded and walked over.

"Quite a talent you’ve got here, hiring soone who turns away million-unit deals. It’s no wonder your store is struggling," Xiao Feng sneered.

"Hey, what are you talking about?" The manager’s expression changed.

"Show

your energy card if you’re so rich! You talk big, but I bet you can’t even afford a few thousand units," she continued. "Boss, don’t believe him. Look at how he’s dressed; does he look like soone who can spend millions?"

"So, your store judges custors by their appearance. Impressive," Xiao Feng said sarcastically, waving dismissively as he turned to leave.

"Wait!" The boss’s eyes widened, and he quickly ran after Xiao Feng.

The boss examined Xiao Feng closely, looking around nervously before asking, "Could you be..."

"No," Xiao Feng interrupted before the boss could finish.

"I haven’t even said anything yet!" The boss smiled wryly.

"Move aside. I’m heading across the street to buy my stuff," Xiao Feng declared, walking away.

"Sir, sir!" The boss chased after him again. "I apologize for my employee’s rudeness. I’ll fire her imdiately. If you still want to purchase, I’ll give you a fifty percent discount!"

"My god! Boss, are you crazy? At fifty percent, we’re selling at a loss!" The manager’s eyes widened in disbelief.

"Get out!" The boss yelled angrily, turning to the manager. "You’re fired, effective imdiately. Whether we profit or lose is no longer your concern!"

"But, co on, third nephew, you can’t do this to your second aunt! I am still your aunt, after all. How can you treat

this way?" the manager pleaded.

The woman panicked imdiately.

"We are relatives, you know! If you do this, I will tell your mother!"

"You almost ruined a seventy million deal for . Compared to seventy million, even if you were my mom, I would still have to fire you!"

The boss pointed towards the door and yelled.

"Get out! Get out imdiately!"

"Fine! Fine! You just wait, I’ll tell your mom, I’ll tell your grandfather. Rember, it was your grandfather who helped you get this position as the boss!"

After saying this, the woman stord out.

"I’m really sorry, sir, for letting you witness this."

The boss didn’t pay any more attention to his aunt and respectfully addressed Xiao Feng.

"Your store has commissions, right?"

Without that person around, Xiao Feng felt much better.

"Yes, all our staff receive a commission of one percent of the product price for every custor they serve."

"That explains it!"

Xiao Feng shrugged and smiled knowingly.

One percent ans the girl would get over seven hundred thousand in commission.

No wonder his aunt wanted to take the custor.

This kind of thing is very common in any store.

If you are honest, you will get bullied.

"By the way, let that girl co over to assist , I have already told her what I need."

Xiao Feng pointed at the girl who looked like Liu Yan.

"Sir, if you prefer, I can have her personally deliver the goods to you!"

The boss gave a knowing smile.

"Do I look like that kind of person to you?"

Xiao Feng replied disdainfully.

"I just don’t like seeing your aunt bullying that girl!"

"Yes, yes! I misunderstood!"

The boss lightly slapped his own mouth and then smiled apologetically.

"Is there anything else you need, sir? I can give you the lowest price on everything. Also, if it’s inconvenient for you, we can arrange for delivery. We deliver nationwide and ensure safety. We use flying transport chs for deliveries."

"Other things can wait. First, pack up what I ordered!"

"Sure!"

The boss, knowing Xiao Feng didn’t want to waste ti, imdiately started packing up the seventy-two sets of armor.

At that mont, Xiao Feng’s eyes suddenly lit up.

"By the way, show

your transport chs!"

If possible, Xiao Feng planned to use such transport chs for his restaurant’s deliveries.

After all, the price of spatial storage rings is too expensive.

Xiao Feng followed the boss and the girl who looked like Liu Yan to the underground exhibition hall.

Several hundred ters below the ground, Steel City had been transford into an underground world of steel.

From the ground level, the store looked like it was only a few hundred square ters, but in reality, the space below was much larger, a hidden world unto itself.

Their products were all stored and displayed there.

Before long, Xiao Feng arrived at the ch section.

There were many types of chs here.

There were combat chs, defense chs, and transport chs.

There were massive chs over a hundred ters tall and tiny chs as small as ants.

The array of chs dazzled the eyes and left one overwheld.

Arriving at the transport ch section, Xiao Feng saw that all the transport chs were tens of ters tall, so even over a hundred ters.

"Sir, many large companies use our transport chs. If you want to purchase one, we can handle all the necessary paperwork for you free of charge," the boss explained.

"You probably know that anything that flies in the sky needs to be reported. Every flight must be approved by aviation authorities, just like airplanes. If you don’t follow the designated flight paths, it can cause big problems."

Xiao Feng hadn’t realized there were so many regulations for ch flights.

But rules are rules, and having them prevents many accidents.

After all, if everyone flew around freely, the high speed could lead to mid-air collisions.

There are no high-altitude traffic police.

"How much do these chs cost?" Xiao Feng asked casually.

"Transport chs are different from other chs. Their main purpose is transport, so the price depends on how much they can carry. We have small, dium, and large chs."

"Small chs can transport about twenty tons of cargo, dium chs about fifty tons, and large chs about a hundred tons."

"Additionally, the endurance of the three types of chs varies."

"For example, for transport within a thousand kiloters, a small ch is sufficient. For distances over a thousand kiloters, you’ll need dium or large chs because their endurance is better."

"Our small chs are priced at around ten million, dium chs around fifty million, and large chs around a hundred million."

This price slightly surprised Xiao Feng, but it was within his budget.

Now that Cheng Gong had approved opening branches at every official base, long-distance transport wasn’t a big need.

Xiao Feng could move freely between branches, carrying a lot of goods to each one.

He could supply the branches with whatever they needed.

But Xiao Feng was just one person; he couldn’t restock goods every day.

So, he needed chs and staff to help and share the burden.

"I might as well buy more and slowly establish a delivery company," he thought.

In peaceful tis, a delivery company can be very profitable.

"I need to plan this out. I’ll call you if I need anything."

Xiao Feng thought about it and decided to go back and discuss it first. He would make a list, figure out how much he needed, and distribute it to the necessary places.

"By the way, do you manufacture these products yourselves or are you just agents?"

"We are just agents. All these products are owned by the official Steel City. Private individuals can’t manufacture these products."

The boss explained.

Xiao Feng nodded, then left the underground showroom with the boss.
