Xiao Feng imdiately stood up, closed the door, and walked towards the backyard.

In the backyard, Xiao Feng went to the neighboring floor.

The restaurant is located at the crossroads.

To the east is a twelve-story office building.

To the south is a nine-story luxury hotel.

To the west is a comrcial building, and behind it is a bustling comrcial district.

Xiao Feng’s restaurant is located to the north, near the street. It has a three-story facade, and behind it is a large residential area.

This location has been through countless renovations before the apocalypse, but it has never been demolished.

With the outbreak of the apocalypse, this pri piece of land turned into worthless soil.

Arriving on the rooftop of the neighboring three-story building, Xiao Feng gazed in the direction of the elentary school.

In the distance, he heard gunshots from the direction of the First Elentary School.

On the rooftop of the elentary school, Xiao Feng saw a helicopter with spinning propellers.

"It’s people from the No. 1 Shelter!"

Xiao Feng imdiately thought of the broadcast he had heard earlier.

After a mont of contemplation, Xiao Feng picked up his weapon and slowly headed in the direction of the elentary school.

As he looked around, he saw a large group of zombies surrounding a group of survivors, retreating towards the tallest teaching building.

Taking out his Barrett, Xiao Feng looked into the distance through the scope.

He saw a horde of child zombies, only about one ter tall, crazily attacking the surviving group.

Seeing this scene, Xiao Feng felt uneasy. These were not adult zombies but children, aged seven to ten. They wore tattered school uniforms and, despite their small size, charged recklessly towards the survivors.

Every bullet from the survivors accurately hit their heads.

They’re just children!

Xiao Feng couldn’t bear to watch this scene and slowly backed away.

But at that mont, a roar echoed.

A massive zombie, three to four ters tall, descended from the sky.

"This..."

Seeing the colossal corpse-like zombie, Xiao Feng’s pupils contracted.

"Little girl!"

The gigantic zombie was none other than the transformation of the little girl’s teddy bear.

The leader of the opposing team quickly gave orders.

However, due to the unwieldy movent of the flesh zombie, the first squad engaged it while the others flanked it and rushed towards the little girl.

Their primary objective was to escort the surviving people to the helicopter for evacuation. Once the school’s students and teachers had retreated into the school building, the rescue teams allowed them to quickly run up to the rooftop where the helicopter was waiting.

Two rescue team mbers escorted the survivors while the rest went after the little girl.

Gunshots echoed, and zombies around the little girl kept falling. However, the rescue team mbers were careful not to harm the little girl, so she was temporarily safe.

Bang!

At that mont, a rescue team mber pulled out a specialized long gun and fired a net that directly enveloped the little girl.

As they were about to capture the girl, Xiao Feng could no longer hold back and pulled the trigger.

Bang!

A massive crater appeared under one of the rescue team mbers.

This person was so startled that he imdiately withdrew his foot.

"There’s a sniper!"

Seeing the enormous crater, the man frantically sought cover. Instantly, all the rescue teams were on high alert, scanning their surroundings.

Seizing this opportunity, the flesh zombie began to attack the rescue teams relentlessly.

anwhile, from inside the school building, a series of terrified screams suddenly rang out.

The leader of the rescue team was alard and turned to look at the school building. Their primary mission as rescue was in jeopardy.

"Everyone, go to the rescue of the survivors!"

Instantly, all the rescue team mbers rushed towards the school building. At this mont, inside the school building, all the survivors were escorted by only two rescue team mbers as they headed towards the rooftop. However, when they reached the rooftop, they found that the door leading to the roof was securely locked. Helplessly, they had to use their firearms to break the lock. However, the gunshots attracted the zombies from inside the school building, and instantly, all the zombies sward the rooftop. The two rescue team mbers were overwheld and could hardly hold them off.

When the other rescue team mbers arrived on the rooftop, they found that all the survivors and the two rescue teams had already beco the zombies’ prey.

"Damn it!" The team leader slamd a fist against the wall and then roared, "Retreat!"

Helplessly, everyone boarded the helicopter and retreated. However, when they were flying over the school, one of the rescue team mbers suddenly pointed and shouted, "Captain, look, there’s soone down there!"

The team leader followed his gaze and saw a figure lying on the school’s playground, exceptionally conspicuous.

"That’s him, that’s him! He’s the sniper!" The rescue team mber who had almost been shot angrily exclaid.

"One person daring to be so brazen here... could he be the owner of that Great Potential restaurant?" The team leader locked his eagle-like eyes onto Xiao Feng’s figure.
