Chapter 139: Yu Lin City’s New Human Zombie

Xiao Feng seems to have sensed the changing landscape of this era.

The age of human dominance seems to be coming to an end.

All along, zombies have given the impression of being clueless.

Headless and brainless, lacking autonomous thoughts and ideas.

But the recent events in Qingyun Province have told the entire world that zombies are evolving at an unforeseen pace.

Since the apocalypse, in less than five years, with the ergence of evolvers, humans have failed to realize the potential threat posed by zombies.

A major reason for this lies with the monsters.

In human understanding, the threat from monsters far exceeds that of zombies.

However, monsters reside deep in the mountains and forests.

Events posing real threats to humanity are almost rare.

On the contrary, zombies, in unimaginable numbers, have occupied human territories.

Now, the ergence of these new human-like zombies serves as a warning to all humanity.

In the end, whether humans can regain dominance or if the new human-like entities will soon rule the Earth, remains an unknown.

Contrary to this uncertainty, Xiao Feng doesn’t feel much about these changes.

The ergence of these new human-like entities has given Xiao Feng the biggest feeling—a market beyond imagination.

Xiao Feng must seize the opportunity of this era’s changes because he believes in one thing: standing at the crest of change, even a pig can take flight.

Shocked by the migration of Qingyun Base, Xiao Feng suddenly understands their reasoning.

Because Qingyun Province is growing from north to south.

Though it’s one province, the polarization between north and south is severe.

Cultural differences are also significant.

Though it sounds like one province, the cultural differences make it seem like the difference between two provincial capitals.

The reason for this is the mountain range that runs between the north and south of Qingyun Province.

"It seems they want to rely on this mountain range to block the invasion and attacks of the zombies!"

Xiao Feng imdiately guessed their reason for migration.

"Bring the map!"

Xiao Feng shouted loudly.

Imdiately, soone brought world maps, Chinese maps, and Qingyun Province maps.

Xiao Feng picked up the map of Qingyun Province and began studying it.

After so research, Xiao Feng pinpointed a location.

That is 200 miles away from Yu Lin City—Yan Long City.

Yan Long City has a historical cultural background.

This place is known as the birthplace of China.

But due to its unique geographical location, its later developnt has lagged.

Yan Long City is situated in a plateau area, surrounded by mountains on all sides.

The original city still retains the tall walls that defended against invasions hundreds of years ago.

The walls enclose Yan Long City in the middle.

Thanks solely to these walls, it developed into a tourist destination, attracting tourists all year round.

If Yan Long City is occupied, it would an having absolute control over a secure area.

Xiao Feng once heard that the shelters around Yan Long City had attempted nurous tis to establish the city as a refuge base, but all attempts ended in failure.

This was due to the overwhelming number of zombies within Yan Long City, far surpassing their expectations.

Moreover, within the city, there used to be a fairly large-scale wildlife park, and all the animals inside had mutated after the apocalypse.

Hundreds of terrifying mutated creatures had taken over Yan Long City, instilling fear in the surrounding shelters.

Even attempting to scavenge resources within posed significant danger.

However, if the Qingyun Province base were to intervene, there was a high likelihood of capturing Yan Long City. As the main base of a province, its strength was unquestionable.

And if the Qingyun Province base, housing millions of survivors, were to settle in Yan Long City, the base’s developnt might likely expand to encompass the area of Yu Lin City based on the number of survivors.

Xiao Feng speculated that they might even potentially requisition Yu Lin City as part of their base.

With a looming potential threat, Xiao Feng stared at the map of Yan Long City, lost in thought.

"No wonder a few days ago, when I went to Shelter No. 1, I saw a large horde of zombies moving in that direction. It seems representatives of the new human intelligence have erged among the zombie groups everywhere!"

Xiao Feng contemplated carefully.

"But..."

Xiao Feng suddenly had a question.

"Why haven’t there been any leaders of the new zombie humans from Yu Lin City’s zombies?"

Just as Xiao Feng thought of this question, a howl suddenly echoed outside.

"It’s the Shadow Corpse Wolf!"

Xiao Feng swiftly stood up and ran outside.

Leaving the restaurant, Xiao Feng imdiately used his psychic power to fly into the sky.

Soon, Xiao Feng pinpointed the location of the Shadow Corpse Wolf.

"It’s at the central square!"

Subsequently, Xiao Feng dove towards the central square.

But before reaching there, Xiao Feng noticed that the main streets were filled with wandering zombies.

The zombies seed consciously gathering, and their destination was the central square.

"Why... have Yu Lin City’s zombies suddenly beco so organized?"

Xiao Feng was astonished.

"Could it be that there are also new zombie humans in Yu Lin City?"

Soon after, Xiao Feng arrived above the central square.

Looking down, he saw a dense crowd of zombies surrounding the Shadow Corpse Wolf in the center.

Leading the attack on the Shadow Corpse Wolf was one of the three leaders among Yu Lin City’s zombies, the Gluttony Zombie.

"Is that big guy the representative of the new zombie humans?"

Xiao Feng suddenly had so doubts.

That big guy seed like soone with a malfunctioning brain, how could they possibly beco the representative of the new humans?

Just then, Xiao Feng suddenly saw, within the small forest in the central square, a zombie with an unusual physique making squeaking sounds.

The sound was extrely peculiar, sounding sowhat like a form of communication.

As he focused, Xiao Feng was astonished to discover that this individual was actually another one of the three leaders—a two-headed zombie.

"Wait a minute! Wasn’t one of this guy’s heads bitten off by the Shadow Corpse Wolf? How has it grown back now?"

Xiao Feng was thoroughly shocked at seeing this individual.

If things went as expected, this individual would be the true representative of the new zombie humans.

At this mont, the Shadow Corpse Wolf was cornered. Despite its speed, it was now trapped and unable to break free.

The Gluttony Zombie had closed in, and with the space for movent gradually diminishing, the Shadow Corpse Wolf was in imminent danger.

"Capture the leader first! To rescue the Shadow Corpse Wolf, the only way now is to deal with the Two-Headed Zombie!"

Thinking quickly, Xiao Feng imdiately took out the Barrett and aid directly at the Two-Headed Zombie.

At that mont, the keen Two-Headed Zombie seed to sense the threat, and its two heads began scanning in all directions.

The next mont, one of its heads looked skyward, imdiately locking onto Xiao Feng.
