Chapter 560: Furina and the Hydro Archon Focalors, the Prophecy!
"Can I also receive such care? As... Furina..." she asked in a daze.
"Of course. The girl in front of is Furina, not Focalors, right?" He gently stroked her cheek, conveying sincere emotion.
Tears stread down, and her delicate face showed the most brilliant smile in four hundred years. "Yes, I am Furina. Ren, can I ask you to save ?" Gathering her courage, under Neuvillette’s astonished gaze, she finally uttered the words.
Ren nodded with relief. "Of course. I will save you, Fufu. First, let’s et your superior."
"Eh?" she tilted her head in confusion.
Ren looked at the giant balance scale above. Imdiately, it emitted a cerulean blue light. "That is..." Neuvillette was surprised by the change. This had never occurred before. The Oratrice was created by the Hydro Archon and possesses self-awareness. At this mont, a large amount of Indemnitium was reacting, as if about to go out of control. He raised his hand, but before he could act, it erupted with an intense light.
Furina and Neuvillette both covered their eyes.
"It must have been a long ti. Can Furina hold on?" a worried yet expectant young girl’s voice echoed in an empty space. This was a magnificent stage, where a girl almost identical to Furina murmured to herself. Above her head hung a blade of execution.
"If you’re so worried, why don’t you go see for yourself?"
"I’d like to, but staying here is my mission."
The young girl’s expression was lancholic. In the next second, she noticed an anomaly. "Who’s speaking?"
"Turn around."
"Oh, oh." She obediently turned and saw Ren smiling. "Eh? Who are you?" According to the plan, it should have been Neuvillette who ca here to execute her.
"You can call Ren, Furina’s friend."
"Wow, Fufu’s friend! You can call Focalors, oh." She cast a curious gaze at him. "Mr. Ren, how did you get here?"
"To ask soone’s purpose so bluntly, it seems you’ve truly been here too long," he spread his hands. "I promised to save Furina, so I ca."
"Saving Furina..." Focalors’ gaze froze. She was a life transford from a Hydro Eidolon, ruling as the Hydro Archon. To cope with the prophecy, she had separated her divinity and personality. Focalors, the divinity, hid within the Oratrice, accumulating Indemnitium for the final judgnt. Furina, the personality, was responsible for deceiving the Heavenly Principles.
But at this very mont, soone stood before her, saying he would save Furina.
"Not just Furina, but you too, Focalors," the words that ca out of his mouth again made her eyes widen.
"I..." She was incredibly happy, a happiness difficult to comprehend. But this was contrary to the prophecy.
Ren could see she was still worried. But he didn’t give her a chance to refuse. He stepped forward and firmly held her hand. "Crack!" An invisible force spread out, and the execution blade shattered. The entire stage began to collapse.
"Since I promised, I will fulfill it." These were the last words she heard, words that ward her heart.
The collapsed stage returned, but this ti, in reality. "Furina? No, you... who are you?" Neuvillette had already questioned her.
However, Focalors was still dazed. "Prophecy and plan..." The first thing that ca to mind was that her identity was exposed. Her plan seed to have failed. But she could not resent Ren. He was trying to save her and Furina, interrupting their centuries of loneliness.
"Sigh, aren’t you a bit too kind, my dear?" Ren, who heard her inner thoughts, felt heartache for her.
