Chapter 525: Emilia Wants a Knight for Life!

"Hmm, you did very well." After the coronation, Emilia, who had just finished, found Ren alone. The others had all hurried back. Ren had stayed because of Ram, Rem, and Betty, planning to let them temporarily help Emilia.

Ram and Rem were simply reluctant to leave. Betty, however, had a bit of a temper. The reason was that Ren had privately let the twins into his room last night, which led to her discovering his disheveled, multi-partnered state in the morning. Of course, her temper wasn’t anger, just unvented shyness. So she decided to lie in his arms all day, biting his neck until red marks appeared.

However, now Ren was talking with Emilia, so Betty could only reluctantly leave his embrace. She sat with Puck at a small table nearby, with a tiny blue dragon sleeping beside them; it was Volcanica in a smaller form.

"It’s wonderful to receive your approval, Ren-kun." Emilia, in casual clothes, had told him about her decisions, her mood brightening after receiving his praise. But her eyes unconsciously drifted towards Ram and Rem, who were massaging his shoulders. She felt very conflicted.

Twirling her fingers, she didn’t know how to speak.

"Emilia, it’s better to just tell him directly," Puck couldn’t stand her hesitation. He added fuel to the fire. "Don’t forget, your wish has been fulfilled. He might not co to this world again."

"!!!" Hearing this, she didn’t consider the truthfulness and frantically grabbed Ren’s hands. "Ren-kun! Please don’t go! I have sothing I must express to you!"

Her urgent feelings caused Betty to glance sideways, but she rely pouted enviously. At least my tiny body wouldn’t have to bear such great pressure alone.

"..." She stared blankly at his brilliant golden eyes. A mont later, "Huh?" she tilted her head. "Um... I just wanted to say thank you, Ren-kun."

"Huh?" He looked utterly bewildered.

"Pfft!" Betty’s tea sprayed onto Puck. But she didn’t care, staring wide-eyed. This was too shocking.

"Huh? Lia, did you say the wrong thing?" Puck shook the tea from his fur.

"Did I?" Emilia, in his arms, was innocent and adorable.

"Hiss, doesn’t that an I just said an awkward and cringey confession for nothing?" he twitched the corners of his mouth.

But the next second, a warm touch on his lips made him slightly stunned. It touched and then separated. What he saw was Emilia’s flushed face and a playful smile. "Hehe, I was teasing you, Ren-kun. Please be my knight, for life."

Despite being fooled, he wasn’t unhappy; instead, he smiled very gently. "Yes. I will be your knight, for life."

"So touching! Well done, Lia!" Puck joyfully waved his fists.

A simple kiss, a simple verbal contract, and their relationship was established. He imdiately gave her various powers, including the birth of a Lv7 Redemption Angel. Then he smiled and told her, "I didn’t say I wouldn’t co back. Ram, Rem, and Betty will stay with you."

"Oh, oh!" she glared angrily at Puck, who grinned playfully.

"However, now there’s another reason why I must return." Ren smiled and leaned down to kiss her again. Understanding she was the reason, she felt sweetness in her heart and clumsily responded. She still rembered the knight who had shielded her from all gossip. That figure would never be forgotten.

"Tsk tsk tsk." Puck clicked his tongue, feeling the lancholy of an old father sending off his daughter. But he was also very sensible, sitting on Betty’s back and leaving.
