Chapter 486: The Five Sisters’ New Teacher: Haru the Cat!
Haru owed while gesturing with her paws. Although the sisters couldn’t understand, they could roughly see her correct and incorrect gestures. So Haru had turned into a cat teacher. But a small cat grading five people’s howork? It was bizarre enough. Nino was incredibly awkward.
"Cough, cough!" Seeing Ren, she quickly coughed to get the others’ attention.
Ichika was the first to look up. Her hand stiffened when she saw Ren’s half-smile. She forced an equally awkward smile. "Ren-kun, long ti no see."
"Long ti no see, Ichika-chan," he responded.
His response caught the attention of the other three. They all looked up.
"ow ow!" (Ren-kun!) Haru, with a light leap, landed in his arms.
"Haru, you seem to have a little belly." Ren poked her belly, then stroked her fur.
"ow!" she comfortably wagged her tail.
"Sorry, Ren-kun. We seem to have been feeding her too diligently," as the eldest sister, Ichika sincerely apologized.
Ren said, "No need to apologize. I should thank you. She seems very resistant to hot springs, so I didn’t bring her."
"By the way, what are you...?" He looked at the first-year howork on the table. They were second-year students now.
"This..." The sisters were all embarrassed.
It was Itsuki who spoke. "Ren-kun, actually, we are too stupid. Our grades have always been at the bottom. But Haru is very smart. She knows many things we don’t. So we thought we’d try letting her teach us."
After she spoke, they all lowered their heads in disappointnt.
"So, did it work?"
Yotsuba shook her head. "No."
Nino also sighed. "No way. Although Haru is smart, we don’t understand what she’s saying."
"ow ow." Feeling their disappointnt, Haru raised her head, her burgundy eyes conveying a request to Ren.
"A cat tutor?" Ren pinched his chin. "Itsuki, do you rember you asked to be your tutor before?"
Upon hearing this, Itsuki excitedly raised her head. "Ren-kun, are you going to agree?" The others also looked at him curiously.
However, he just shook his head gently. "..." For a mont, she thought she was rejected and felt disappointed.
But he imdiately continued, "Haru wants to repay your care, so she is going to teach you."
"Ah?" They all had question marks on their foreheads.
Miku frowned. "But we don’t understand what a cat is saying."
"This problem is not very difficult." Ren placed Haru on the table. "Try again."
"This..." They looked at each other, not understanding. But Itsuki was still willing to believe. "Haru."
"ow." (Itsuki.)
"Eh???" The sisters widened their eyes. They seed to have just heard a female voice calling Itsuki’s na. Their gaze focused on Haru. Was it her?
"ow ow?" (What’s wrong?) Haru tilted her head.
It was this sound that confird one thing: the little cat Haru was really talking!
"Haru is speaking human language???" Nino felt her brain trembling.
"It’s not her speaking; it’s that you can now understand her," Ren gave a simple explanation.
"So amazing!!!" Yotsuba’s curiosity was about to explode, and she eagerly leaned closer to start a conversation. The others couldn’t hold back either.
A few minutes later, they truly experienced the fun of communicating with a cat. Itsuki even shouted happily, "Great! This way Haru can be our teacher! Let’s study!"
"That won’t do," Ren suddenly interjected.
"Ah? Why?"
"It’s very late. I have to take her ho."
"!!!" Only then did they rember.
"So-sorry, I forgot," Itsuki blushed and pounded her forehead.
The other four couldn’t help but smile. However, Ichika still wanted to confirm. "Um, Ren-kun, regarding the cat tutor, the specific arrangents... how should it be handled?"
"Do you have anything to do tomorrow? If not, we can discuss it then."
"Yes, we are all free."
"Okay, then I’ll co again tomorrow."
After confirming, Ren left with Haru. Yukino hadn’t seen Haru for several days, and although she had Neko accompanying her, she still missed the little black cat dearly.
