"Master, your wine." She had already poured it. The two just had a simple drink. Nao said other guests would be using it, so she didn’t stay long.
Ren, on the other hand, was walking down the corridor, preparing to go to Kaguya’s bedroom. Suddenly, a petite, short purple-haired girl holding a doll walked out of a room. "Wah!" She bumped into Ren, almost falling.
Fortunately, he reached out and grabbed her hand. "What’s wrong, Little Momo?" a girl with long red hair and striking golden pupils walked out. Then she saw Ren.
He explained concisely. "She probably didn’t notice and bumped into ."
"Mm..." the petite girl humd softly. "Thank you."
The red-haired girl scrutinized him. This was the Shinomiya mansion. Since he wasn’t a bodyguard, his identity must not be simple.
"What are you doing?" a clear, cold voice ca from behind Ren. He turned his head. Good heavens. It really is a bunch of familiar faces.
The petite purple-haired girl was Momo Akanegakubo, the Fourth Seat of the Elite Ten Council. The red-haired girl was Rindo Kobayashi, the Second Seat.
And the cold voice belonged to Nakiri Erina, the Tenth Seat, a beautiful blonde girl with her arms crossed. Beside her was the braided, blue-haired Nene Kinokuni, the Sixth Seat. And on the other side, the short pink-haired girl, Hisako Arato, Erina’s secretary.
The Elite Ten Council invited by the Shinomiya Family, as Chika ntioned, must be them.
Hisako was also scrutinizing him. Seemingly rembering sothing, she whispered into Erina’s ear. After listening, a hint of surprise flashed in Erina’s eyes. She put down her arms and nodded politely.
"Mr. Ren, nice to et you. I am Nakiri Erina."
"Oh, hello," he responded simply.
Erina was being so polite because she knew he would likely be the new head of the Shinomiya Family. She hadn’t forgotten what her grandfather had said about cooperating with them. Compared to dealing with an old fox like Shinomiya Gan’an, she felt dealing with young people like Kaguya and her fiancé might be more relaxed. Especially since they would beco the true decision-makers.
