All five were connected to top powers. It was Black Dragon’s order to execute them simultaneously. This implied the Navy would clash with at least three top powers: the Revolutionary Army, the Whitebeard Pirates, and the Red-Haired Pirates. The Beasts Pirates were uncertain. Another Emperor, Big Mom, might arrive; the Navy had spread a rumor that Marineford had the world’s most delicious cake.
This was exactly what Black Dragon needed. He stood at the highest point of Marineford, overlooking everything.
He was a trialist. The more people he killed, and the stronger they were, the more powerful he would beco. This strength had allowed him to replace Sengoku and persuade the Five Elders to stage this spectacular slaughter.
