Chapter 308: First Visit to the Nakano Quintuplets!
"Eh?" Ms. Izumi was still puzzled. Ren had already pressed the doorbell.
Soon, soone ca to open the door. It was a girl with orange-yellow short hair and a bow on top of her head.
Nakano Yotsuba had seen Ms. Izumi’s figure through the peephole, so she opened the door without hesitation. But she didn’t recognize Ren.
"Ms. Izumi, Sagiri, why are you here...?"
"This is Ren-kun; he’s looking for you."
Ren handed over the fruit, introduced himself, and finally added, "Is Itsuki here? I actually know her."
"You know Itsuki?" Yotsuba took the fruit in surprise. "Please co in first."
Then she hurriedly shouted into the room, "Itsuki! A boy is here to see you!"
"..." Ren was startled; he hadn’t specifically co to see Itsuki.
Ms. Izumi also understood. So he knows Itsuki; then he probably knows about the five of them. She felt a slight pity; she had wanted to see his surprised expression.
"A boy is here to see ?" Itsuki walked out of her room, confused. She didn’t rember being close to any boys.
At the sa ti, three other figures erged from two rooms on the second floor and the kitchen. A boy looking for Itsuki? Is this the prelude to dating? The sisters were all very curious.
Thus, Ren entered the living room and saw five girls whose faces had slight differences but were almost identical. The Nakano Quintuplets.
"Student Ren! Why are you here?" Itsuki, wearing cute pink bear pajamas, was surprised.
They really know each other! This was what the other four sisters were thinking. This might be Itsuki’s future boyfriend! With this thought, they began to scrutinize him carefully.
His handsoness was imdiately apparent, as was his calm deanor.
He stated his purpose to Itsuki: "I ca to visit my neighbors. Let formally introduce myself again. I am Ren, living in room 401. We’ll be neighbors from now on, please take care of ."
The sowhat languid Ichika: "I am Nakano Ichika. Please take care of ."
Nino, wearing an apron: "I am Nino."
Miku, wearing headphones: "Miku."
The cheerful and lively Yotsuba: "Hi, I’m Yotsuba! Please take care of !"
Itsuki: "Ugh, I’m Itsuki. Student Ren, please take care of ." She was a bit more shy, still wearing childish pajamas.
Noticing his arrival made them a bit awkward, Ren decided not to disturb them further. After a brief exchange, he bid farewell to Ms. Izumi and Sagiri and left.
As soon as they left, the four sisters gathered around Itsuki. "Itsuki, you know that Ren? I never heard you ntion him," Nino asked, knitting her eyebrows.
"It was that day..." Itsuki subconsciously started to speak, then jolted. She rembered she had promised Ren not to talk about abnormal things. Thus, the words on her lips were swallowed back. "It... it’s just that I encountered difficulties before, and Student Ren helped ."
"Ah?" The sisters could imdiately see that Itsuki was hiding sothing.
Yotsuba suddenly clapped her hands. "I rember now! Student Ren is that Supre Emperor!"
Nino looked puzzled. "Supre Emperor?"
Miku said faintly, "It’s what everyone at school calls him. He’s very good at sports."
Yotsuba nodded repeatedly. "That’s right! He set school records in every physical fitness test, and he looked like he was doing it with ease."
Ichika’s eyes also flashed. "It seems he’s also the Student Council President of the high school section."
"Hmph, not only that," Itsuki lifted her head. "Student Ren’s grades are also incredibly good. He got a perfect score and ranked first in the national test, and he gets a perfect score in every in-school test. He’s super amazing."
"Perfect score and first place?!" For them as poor students, they understood what that ant. Could soone in the world really do such a thing?
Nino showed a strange expression. "Is there really such an amazing person? And soone so handso would be so close to a dummy like Itsuki?"
"Nino! Don’t talk nonsense! I’m not that close to Student Ren," Itsuki quickly clarified.
"Sniff sniff!" Nino still wanted to press further, but Yotsuba suddenly sniffed the air.
She put her finger to her mouth. "Why do I sll sothing burnt?"
"!!!" Nino’s eyes widened, and she let out a scream. "Ah! My dish!!!"
In the end, the matter was left unresolved.
Ren also returned ho after thanking Ms. Izumi and Sagiri. Kanae had already prepared dinner. Haruno was at Yukino’s house, so there were only three people at ho.
The cat sat obediently on the chair, being fed by Ren one piece at a ti. Occasionally, she would feed him in return.
"Kanae, have Kaguya and the others t everyone today?" When he left, he had asked Kanae to take Kaguya to get acquainted.
"Yes, they’ve all t. Although so had questions about Kaguya’s appearance, they quickly adapted."
Ren had not deliberately changed Kaguya’s appearance. He thought her original look was very distinctive. After seeing Nezuko, Kie, and the others, people found it wasn’t much different and could easily accept it. However, Ren still set a cognitive impairnt parater on Kaguya, so outsiders only saw her as an ordinary person.
Kanae thought for a mont. "It’s just that Kaguya doesn’t seem to be very good at communicating."
Ren nodded. "You saw the perception I shared. Kaguya’s experiences determine her personality. That’s why I arranged for her to live with Cocolia. I believe Chinu and Yuri might be able to change her."
As a pseudo-mother, an adorable child possessed a fatal characteristic that Chinu and Yuri just happened to have. After all, even Cocolia was changed by the two of them. Of course, it was he who had broken Cocolia’s and Kaguya’s initial celibate identities, which was the beginning of the change.
