A hum sounded in Hyperion’s ears, making her sense of space in her vision seem sowhat disordered.

All she could see was the silver, liquid-like entity that was dashing around the classroom like an artillery shell, bringing up a burst of silver and blood mixed waves with each collision, like steel rampaging through a cake.

The fifth-order demon teacher who was originally standing at the classroom door, had now been swallowed up by the silver entity, a large chunk of his body torn away. A ripped wound split open on his body, and blood gushed out from the bone marrow, soaking the grass. The remaining body was split into two sections, like a puppet with broken strings, quietly trembling and lying on the ground.

Signs of life on him had vanished, only his hollow eyes helplessly staring at the do of the botanical garden remained.

The botanical garden that was once tranquil has experienced drastic changes in an instant. Peace was swallowed up by the scalding black fog, sinking into a tumult of screams!

The on of death gripped Hyperion’s heart like an invisible ghost claw, as if an icy cold current climbed up from the base of her spine to her throat, making each breath sound unusually heavy.

Her heart was pounding, almost jumping out of its chest.

"Miss Duchess Hyperion, I finally found you."

Accompanied by this hoarse voice, the shadowy silhouette growing increasingly clear as it made its way from the far end of the door, emitted an intense malevolence that chilled Hyperion to the bone.

Her body concurrently stiffened, unable to move, as if she was bound by so form of magic.

The frail first-order Great Love Poet was unable to withstand the poison fog’s erosion and quickly dissolved into orange luminescence, disappearing.

This rare ti-limited observation park had now beco a bloody garden of chaos and fear.

The screams of the demon students gradually weakened, the silver entity rampaged among them and quickly swallowed them all like a harvester engulfs weeds.

The silver entity’s body was becoming increasingly gigantic.

Hyperion chose not to worry about the Great Love Poet for the mont.

When a Summon is killed, it automatically turns back into a card and is returned to the summoner’s side, with a longer cooldown period before it can be summoned again.

Right now, what she needs to worry about — is herself!

The dense garden was filled with black fog produced by poisonous magic, scarlet blood was splattered between the tree trunks, and a dark figure was gradually approaching Hyperion, just like a predatory beast zeroing in on its prey.

The figure’s coat was making rustling noises in the gentle wind, its cold and serene pace, like that of a death god, each step filled with impending murderous intent.

At this mont.

Hyperion also finally saw the true face of the visitor.

It was a woman with fierce scars on her cheeks, and behind her was a black mist sorcerer resembling an attendant.

Although this woman would be quite delicate without the scars, her chaotic eyes, tinged with an aggressive twinkle, seed to be stained with countless deaths.

A fifth-order challenger?

The oppressive aura of a formidable adversary felt like it was about to consu Hyperion.

She imdiately activated [Purification Magic] to dispel the control over her body, then entered an invisible state, creating distance.

Even though Hyperion had now temporarily vanished from the scene, the classroom’s exit was sealed by the silver entity, seemingly blocking her last ray of hope, leaving her with no chance to escape.

"Originally, you were just supposed to die in this Shadow World according to the chanism."

The woman seed rather unwilling to take the matter into her own hands.

She was not even sure if she had successfully targeted this Miss Duchess.

But after questioning a number of demon students all the way, she finally found a clue to Hyperion’s whereabouts--

Indeed, a tall girl with silver hair and amber pupils had been seen in the school.

The woman controlling the silver entity seed to know Hyperion had beco invisible now, standing there was rely a decoy, and she did not waste her energy attacking.

"This ti in the Shadow World, it seems two experts have been matched, thus successfully triggering the Dean of Demon Academy’s defense chanism, completing the task of the Shadow World."

The woman slowly spoke,

"However, for you, such luck will not happen a second ti."

Although I don’t know where Hyperion’s teammate is right now.

But I’m guessing he, too, is sowhere in the school, whiling away the ti.

According to the information we received from our spies in the Capital City Ekrite of Hutton before planning the sniper attack on Hyperion—

He who entered the Void Gate building with Hyperion is the top freshman of Ichrite Academy’s Sage Academy.

Iron-level Registered Challenger.

Second-order support.

His combat information from the entrance exam was hidden by Dean Loren of Sage Academy.

He has potential but currently poses a low threat.

"…"

Hyperion maintained her invisibility, holding her breath and focusing.

If it hadn’t been for the special al from the Demon King’s Restaurant that boosted her to a fourth-order state, she wouldn’t have had confidence to go against this fifth-order enemy.

Even so, she’s uncertain how long she will last!

"Miss Duchess, if you co out willingly, I promise your corpse won’t look too grotesque."

The woman’s voice, full of grave intent, resonated around the room, confirming her surroundings and asserting,

"No one can save you."

...

It was half-past four in the morning at Ichrite Academy.

The open-air big screen on Jera morial Square was still on, broadcasting the reality of the Shadow World under the moonlight.

The surrounding buildings were quiet and majestic in the night, with only a few lights coming from scattered windows.

Students started getting up from the steps, yawning and chatting drowsily. Despite the impending fatigue during classes later, staying up all night to watch such a Shadow World event was completely worth it.

After Lanci cleared the level and cut off the screen, students began to leave the square as if a movie had ended.

The crowd on the square gradually thinned, leaving a few students still watching the greenhouse’s Great Love Poet’s healing ti, or slowly packing up to leave.

"I want to see Lanci’s Shadow World next ti, too."

"But for the Fourth-order Shadow World, the cooldown is two months. By the ti he can challenge the Shadow World again, half the term will have passed."

Suddenly.

The pleasant and peaceful giant screen brightened abruptly, as if there had been a significant change in the picture.

It did not bring surprise, rather it was a chilling scream of terror.

The sudden change on the screen made many students, who were tidying trash around them, flinch and hurriedly look up.

"Attackers in the Shadow World?"

The remaining students on the steps were the first to exclaim.

Their gaze was glued to the screen, drawn in by the suspenseful twists and turns of the scenario before them!
