The black-haired youth felt the illusion beginning to collapse.
Even so, a tender voice seed to still echo in his ears—
Soon, you will sleep. When you awaken, you will beco a part of the new world.
Go, now.
Go to the place where you belong.
And so, he returned to the world of man.
Crimson thunder rumbled around the open space at the center of Naikarisu Demon King Palace’s great hall, and a somber aura continually spread, making the palace’s transparent protective enchantnt begin to visibly shatter.
At both ends of this royal hall, the magic powers of silver-white and blood-red were distinct, and Fallen Lord Calila still exerted all her might to control Eduado, the fourth Ancestor.
The tenth Ancestor, Ulysses, had almost reached the left side of the gallery, arriving next to the Little Wolf Girl he intended to take away.
Suddenly.
Ulysses noticed the Radiant Demon seated next to the Little Wolf Girl tremble slightly, causing him to montarily halt.
It was in this instant that the Radiant Demon shattered what seed like shackles binding him or a seemingly endless fate, his aura surging as he ascended to the eighth-order realm.
"You can still move?"
Ulysses’ brows slightly arched.
This Radiant Demon, not even a mber of the Great Demon Clan, even if he had suddenly broken free from Calila’s restraints and reached the eighth-order, was not a match for him.
"Yeah."
The Radiant Demon kept his head down, tears dropping to the ground.
"It seems you’ve lost the will to fight?"
Ulysses looked at the Demon Race mber quizzically.
Despite the demon’s apparent heartbreak, he was able to break free from Fallen Wonderland.
It only explained one thing.
His heart was already shattered.
"Then I’ll take her away. A demon like you shouldn’t bother making an enemy of , right?"
According to Ulysses’ previous information, the Little Wolf Girl had always desperately followed this Radiant Demon, who seed to despise her, as if trying to shake her off, showing no concern for her life or death.
The Radiant Demon gave no answer.
He raised his hand, and space twisted into a black sphere akin to a solar eclipse, sealing the tenth Ancestor, Ulysses, within it.
"rely a Blood Clan Marquis, worth being my enemy?"
He murmured to himself.
Never once lifting his head.
And on the other side of the Regency Hall, Calila, having noticed the change, looked at the Radiant Demon in astonishnt.
Initially, upon seeing the Radiant Demon’s awakening, she worried that one who had just reached the eighth-order might not be able to handle the tenth Ancestor, but to her surprise, the opponent turned out to be a Sealing System mber of the Demon Race.
He also appeared to have a special Power of the Sun that particularly restrained the Blood Clan. Even Ulysses, an Ancestor of the sa order, was no match for him!
Quickly, the Radiant Demon stood up, the fourth Ancestor, Ulysses, was sealed within a pitch-black cubic block, and Calila finally with relief lifted the enchantnt of Fallen Wonderland.
"Friend, can you join us? Whatever conditions you ask for, I will do my best to fulfill them."
Fallen Queen Calila approached the Radiant Demon at once.
She had never seen such a demon hide his strength. With his joining, their chances of winning against the Blood Clan in the Demon World would significantly increase!
The Radiant Demon glanced at Fallen Queen Calila but did not reply.
His deep green eyes looked muddied and weary.
He didn’t leave either.
He sat down again next to the Little Wolf Girl, just waiting quietly.
Until the Little Wolf Girl beside him awoke.
"What happened to you…"
The Little Wolf Girl, like waking from a nightmare, looked around in panic at the aftermath.
Having experienced several life-or-death situations, she quickly realized she had narrowly escaped another danger!
And once again, it was the cold and heartless Radiant Demon at her side who had acted to save her.
"I promised you, if you could help understand the final riddle she left, I would teach you until you could defeat an Ancestor of the Blood Clan."
He spoke slowly.
"Then we’ll have nothing more to do with each other, whether I seek revenge or live or die, it will have nothing to do with you!"
Before the Radiant Demon finished speaking, the Little Wolf Girl hurriedly recited the rest of their agreent with urgency, her anxious eyes telling him she hadn’t forgotten their pact and would never overstep, never breaking her promise.
The Little Wolf Girl suddenly lowered her head again.
"But the riddle... I might need a little more ti to solve it..."
She stamred on, growing increasingly guilty and even slightly afraid that the Radiant Demon might beco angry for being deceived by her.
"You’ve fulfilled your promise, I understand the answer now. Now it’s my turn to deliver the reward."
His tone was bland as he replied.
"Eh?"
The Little Wolf Girl incredulously widened her eyes.
Then she suddenly took several deep breaths, trying to speak, but as if her chest had frozen solid, she couldn’t utter a word.
She then cried with relief.
"Siegler, you’ve fulfilled your promise."
The Radiant Demon said again, his tone affird.
"Ah ah ah..."
In Siegler’s misty, wet eyes, it was as if her tireless efforts in a seemingly hopeless chase had finally been rewarded.
Who knows how long it lasted, but seemingly exhausted from crying and already too weary, she gradually closed her eyes at the sound of the Radiant Demon’s voice, still not daring to let go of him for fear he would leave her behind.
The Radiant gently reached out tentatively, as if afraid of damaging a delicate flower, until gathering the courage, he placed his hand on the back of her head with stiff movents.
"Siegler..."
