Returning to the story.

In late April, Herram rarely sees such a drizzle.

This takes place at the northernmost part of Protoss Royal Magic Academy located in Herram.

Through a broad dark blue window in a nearby church, the starry sky and moonlight are reflected. The lake outside the window seems like a serene mirror under the moonlight, with the faint figures of two people visible.

Lanci has changed into casual clothes. His dark hair and green eyes indicate he’s not as formally dressed as before, while Sigrid is wearing a holy dress and Lanci’s coat, holding a little black cat.

Before leaving, Lanci told Sigrid to put on one more coat, but she didn’t listen, insisting she was in good health and not afraid of the cold.

However, once they reached the lake, they realized that the difference in temperature between indoors and outdoors was quite significant.

So, Lanci had no choice but to lend his shivering Sigrid his coat.

They sat by the lakeside on a long bench, enjoying the fresh air after the heavy rain.

Without realising, more than two days had passed before the Bishop’s election.

Lanci quickly chose the Protoss ancient collection, as if he had already made up his mind about what card to pick before going to the Endless Library. He then swiftly returned to Gloria’s residence, their Hegemony Branch base, and started creating the card.

On the eve of today’s Bishop election, the rain surprisingly stopped late at night.

After Lanci finished his preparations, Sigrid asked him to take her out for a walk around the school.

She had been confined to Gloria’s ho for a week and said she’d grow mould if she didn’t go out soon.

Lanci totally understood this sense of urgency and naturally agreed.

You can’t let an older woman stay at ho all day without going outside, otherwise, getting married would beco harder and harder.

The Protoss Royal Magic Academy now has the dual monitoring of Antanas and Pranay, which is much safer than before. Even if an eighth-order intruder enters, they will be detected imdiately.

After leaving Gloria’s house, Lanci and Sigrid strolled aimlessly around the northern side of the school.

Eventually, they reached the lake north of Hong ng De Building. It was getting farther, so they sat on the bench, admiring the night sky and lake.

In the distance, gentle hills and luminous trees blended with the brilliantly lit Herram, appearing and disappearing in the night.

Under the phosphorescent night sky, the dark and vast lake seed boundless, becoming a long road reaching the horizon.

The two admired the scenery without uttering a single word.

Sigrid shook her leg occasionally, leaning back and looking at the starry sky in deep thought.

She was imrsed in this dazzling view.

Reflecting on every event that happened over the past two months, it all seed like yesterday.

Indeed, it did feel like an eternal winter.

So far, passing through the dark places of the Northern Tundra, a deep grey plague had covered the entire earth. The shadow of the lunar monster’s wings, having experienced a long journey amidst snowstorms and adversities, finally returned to the Imperial Capital, Herram.

This gloom was also about to envelop the Imperial Capital, seemingly driving away the upcoming spring.

"How confident are you?"

Finally, Sigrid asked, staring at Lanci’s cheek.

"Honestly, I don’t know. My best friend once told that betting doesn’t guarantee a win, but not betting guarantees a loss. So at the mont, I can’t really predict how the lee among the different factions will turn out tomorrow. All of this has happened too fast to ."

Staring at the universe, Lanci spoke calmly,

"Perhaps it’s due to my talent or my clear heart, but before I knew it, I found myself sitting on one side of the round table."

Essentially, he’s a fourth-order newcor who has just left his ho and unintentionally stumbled into the ga of power.

Dense clouds drifted by, briefly obscuring the moonlight, causing the faces of Lanci and Sigrid on the bench to beco dimly lit.

The cat boss in Sigrid’s arms seed to be about to speak but then retreated, deciding to pretend to be an ordinary cat and not interrupt the conversation.

Before heading to the Northern Continent, it did not believe Lanci would be that outrageous, but it believed now.

Lanci was "outrageously talented," it seed that South Crayney had limited his growth and potential. Indeed, once he set foot in the Northern Continent, he imdiately transford into a dragon amidst a political storm!

Now it only prayed that Lanci would take it back to South Crayney soon, to return to their peaceful restaurant and campus lifestyle. Whenever it thought about how Lanci promised to introduce several competent talents, it felt delighted, as the good tis were yet to co.

Sigrid felt the cat move, she stroked its head and then looked at the starry sky along Lanci’s gaze.

"Saint Heir, have you ever thought that if you win everything tomorrow, you could not only observe the [Original Slabs - Sealed] as you wish but also potentially beco the new Cardinal Bishop?"

She nudged Lanci lightly with her shoulder and asked.

"No chance, I will never beco a Cardinal Bishop in my life. My hotown is in the South Continent, where one cannot be a Cardinal Bishop."

Lanci shook his head imdiately.

It’s fine in the Northern Continent, which has been in turmoil for years. Different organisations and nations have different perspectives on different branches.

But the South Continent has a comprehensive and perfect union council, which categorically considers the Rebirth Church as an extre organisation and wanted target.

Who are those Cardinal Bishops in the South Continent? Bishop of Destruction Ivanos, Archbishop of Decay Fa Mo, they are all terrorists more terrifying than Asksan. Even the strongest Cerryti Empire in the South Continent is worried about them. Small nations, if they upset the Cardinal Bishop, may face a real catastrophe.

In a peaceful place like the South Continent, everyone fears Cardinal Bishops.

Not to ntion the Cardinal Bishops, even the Grand Priest of the Rebirth Church could scare dear father.

"Then you can move to the North Continent. Aren’t your properties here better than those in the South Continent? And I will protect you here, who would dare to touch you."

Sigrid asked further.

She had thought about one day possibly eting the Saint Heir’s family, but according to what the Saint Heir said about the situation in the South Continent, she might cause irreversible shock to the Saint Heir’s family. So even if she visited one day, she would first have to disguise herself as an ordinary girl to reassure them.

"Theoretically speaking, the Protoss Empire has beco my second ho, but I also deeply love the Hutton Kingdom, so if I were to retire, I would still prefer to stay in my hotown."

Lanci turned his head, stared at her, and replied honestly.

He never intended to hide his hotown from Sigrid. After all, Sigrid knew about his relationship with Loren, and it should’ve been clear to her where he was from in the South Continent.
