Talia whispered to Lanci in a barely audible voice.
"!"
Lanci imdiately turned his head aside, staring at Talia.
He was sowhat suspicious that this Talia was an imposter.
Talia's behavior and words beca increasingly strange, leaving him more and more at a loss.
"I need to go back to the Magic Engineering College to see Professor Bolao. Originally, I should have returned earlier from that proctoring trip to the Poseen Kingdom to handle follow-up matters with Professor Bolao, but it's been delayed for several months now. I can't keep Professor Bolao waiting."
Lanci didn't want to be caught off guard by Talia any longer today; he needed ti to analyze how to deal with this new version of Talia.
This version had turned into a three-bodied demon, making it impossible to maintain any line of reasoning.
"Ah, Professor Bolao, you really can't keep him waiting. He even casually criticizes Emperor Loren..."
Isatia pouted, appearing quite disappointed.
She also held a respect for this professor who had ntored Duke Migaya.
"I'll help handle so official business on Professor Bolao's side, so there's no need to worry. Today, please co to the Duke's Mansion, and let entertain you properly."
Migaya, having secretly observed Lanci for so ti, finally broke his usual deanor and extended the invitation.
"Besides, I'm not sure if Hyperion has fully recovered lately. Even though she has Antanas with her, she surely would still like to see you."
He felt that Lanci and Talia hadn't yet discovered the secret between him and Isatia.
Later, Isatia explained to Talia that on that day, she had been observing her sister and brother-in-law on a date, felt too guilty, and ran off with friends. anwhile, Migaya was handling matters in the arena downstairs and hadn't managed to return to the supervisory office upstairs before the incident of that day occurred.
By avoiding Lanci and Talia, he risked making them notice sothing off, so maintaining his usual composure and interaction almost ensured they wouldn't suspect a connection with the entirely different-looking black-haired woman.
"Yes, yes, Lanci, think about it. Wouldn't Hyperion be disappointed if she didn't see you today?"
Isatia hugged Migaya's arm and spoke to Lanci and Talia.
She sneaked a glance at Migaya while responding.
Originally, all four should have been awkward, but Migaya seed the least awkward of them all.
She knew her husband was also a master of the mind, the sa type as Lanci, confidently assuming the best strategy was not to feel guilty and thus not get caught.
"I understand. Talia, let's head to the Duke's Mansion first, and then I'll take you and the Cat Boss back to the restaurant."
Lanci sighed helplessly.
Hyperion was recently adapting to the bodily changes following the awakening of her Demon Race lineage, occasionally experiencing excessive immune reactions due to the toxins she secreted. Even though she had the care of the Demon World doctor Antanas, the pain she endured wouldn't lessen. They couldn't simply leave Hyperion unattended today.
"ow ow ow, I miss ho! But I haven't been to the Duke's Mansion yet."
The Cat Boss rolled joyfully on Lanci's hand.
Last ti, Lanci brought back three elites from the Protoss Empire: the enthusiastic Antanas, the graceful Sinola, and the steady and capable Pranay, each one it liked very much.
Even after realizing they were from the Great Demon Clan like Talia, the Cat Boss wasn't afraid anymore; now it was a mascot of the Cerryti Empire!
This ti, aside from the early-arriving singer and an yet-arrived delivery person, Lanci brought back two great backers, the Duke and the Duchess, allowing it to experience the life of a noble cat!
"Let's go."
After they discussed their itinerary at the platform level, they passed through layer upon layer of gates, leaving the platform.
The group walked through the spacious station hall of Ichrite Central Station.
The noises gradually faded away.
Shortly after leaving Ichrite Central Station, they saw a figure waiting for them by the square.
"Young Master, Miss Tata, and the Duke and Duchess, it's been such a long ti since we've seen each other."
Hans's voice was very deep, like an old father weary from worries, showing them a smile.
Despite appearing as a kindly old man, Lanci still felt he used to be an assassin.
"Hans, do you plan to continue working at the Wilford Family, or return to the Alansar Family as a butler?"
Lanci didn't hand Hans his suitcase but assisted the Duke and others by putting their luggage on the car, taking over Hans's job.
"Of course I'm the butler of the Wilford Family. I've watched the young master grow up since childhood, and if I couldn't stay with the Wilford Family any longer, I'd be quite reluctant."
Hans didn't refuse but rather looked at Lanci's respect for the elderly and love for the young with gratification.
"No worries, Hans. In a couple of years, when the Wilford and Alansar families are no longer separated, you won't be torn about which family's butler you are."
Migaya saw Hans's affection for the Wilford Family over the years, and knew of his loyalty to the Alansar Family, so whether going back to the Alansar Family or staying with the Wilford Family, Hans would feel a bit reluctant.
Fortunately, this issue could be addressed perfectly.
"Yes, go Lanci! Win over both my daughter and my goddaughter!"
Isatia encouraged with a clenched fist.
But when she saw Talia's gaze, she didn't dare continue shouting loudly.
She was still a little afraid to show her strength publicly.
"Hehehe, young master, you must work hard."
Hans encouraged Lanci.
"Hans, you don't have to worry about , actually. In the Flower Capital Pariel, I've served as a butler for a while, and my skills as a butler may not be worse than yours."
