His complexion was slightly haggard, the corners of his mouth weary, as though he was chronically deprived of sleep. Under his hat, his dark mid-length hair was casually tied at the back of his head, with a few unruly bangs fluttering in the wind, occasionally obscuring his eyes.
The man seed to have been waiting here for too long, even falling asleep.
"Sorry, I've troubled the staff of the Dinsional Branch."
Moved by a sudden realization, Sigrid acknowledged that this was the Dinsional Priest she was looking for, their agreed-upon signal for eting being a cartoonish Silver Moon Crown.
Originally, she was sowhat worried that being suddenly swept away by a temporary Void Gate, the people from the Dinsional Branch would give up waiting for her after her prolonged disappearance.
To her surprise, the Dinsional Priest was so tenacious, he practically lived at the reception just waiting for her.
Sigrid walked quickly forward, her footsteps on the marble floor crisp and pleasant to the ear.
"...?"
The young man sensed her arrival, groggily lifting his head to look at her.
Sigrid walked up to the young man.
"Hello, I'm Sikder, the one who commissioned your Dinsional Express Company. I'm sorry I'm late."
She spoke, her voice clear and bright.
The young man was montarily stunned upon hearing her, then a smile spread across his lips, the weary look on his face instantly swept away, replaced by genuine joy.
"It's no big deal, just a minor issue. I received a ssage from the Priest, heard you were taken by the Void Gate, and I ca here right away to wait for you."
He said quite familiarly.
"I'm really sorry, you've waited for so long."
"Nah, it's been just over a dozen days, it went by in a blink of an eye."
After exchanging pleasantries, the young man invited Sigrid to leave the port with him.
In a short while, they reached the parking area.
"Please."
The young man walked to the passenger side, respectfully opening the car door for Sigrid.
Sigrid gave the young man a aningful glance.
She hadn't noticed it when they first t.
Because he was so down-to-earth.
Now, after a brief interaction, Sigrid was completely certain that this guy was incredibly strong, at least stronger than Calila in her weakened state within the Shadow World, and certainly not soone of just any Priest or Saint Heir or Saintess level.
The maroon real leather seats gave off a faint scent of fine leather, Sigrid sat down, feeling the seat's softness and comfort.
The young man closed the car door, made his way to the driver's seat, and also stepped into the car, smoothly driving away from South Wantina Port amidst the pleasant roar of the magical energy engine.
The vehicle ascended the winding Bibo Coast seaside road, with the scenery gradually transitioning from the bustling port to the deserted outskirts.
On one side of the road were rolling mountains, slopes blanketed with green trees lush and verdant, and on the other, the azure sea, its surface shimring with light, stretching out of sight.
The young man held the steering wheel with one hand, eyes fixed ahead, his other hand casually resting on the window sill.
"By the way, regarding the Dinsional Branch, what's the fastest plan you have to get to Botswana Province, near the Cerryti Empire?"
Sigrid leaned back in her seat, her gaze drifting to the changing landscape outside the window, feeling a complex emotion of nervousness and anticipation within her.
She was eager to et the Saint Heir, even a mont sooner would be better.
Now that they had both just erged from the Shadow World, each day earlier would double the surprise the Saint Heir would feel upon seeing her.
When chatting with the Saint Heir back in the Shadow World school, though she didn't inquire much, she gathered that the Saint Heir was currently in the Imperial Capital of Brilda, Cerryti Empire.
"I'll tell you the answer right away, please wait a mont."
The Dinsional Branch's young man replied, unfazed.
The car sped down the road for over ten minutes and then the young man parked it beside a secluded platform.
Silence surrounded them, with only the rustling of the wind through the tree canopies and the intermittent chirping of insects.
The roof of the waiting shed was overrun with moss, wooden structures rotted to the core, seemingly on the brink of collapse at any mont.
Sigrid got out of the car, looked around, and saw that the area was scarcely populated, the dilapidated platform stood forlornly in the wilderness, giving an isolated impression.
The words on the station's sign had faded, barely discernible, a narrow asphalt road stretching from the platform and winding into the boundless wilderness, disappearing over the horizon.
Sigrid was aware that he had brought her here to evade the gaze of Hutton Kingdom's City Defense Army.
They could converse with ease after deploying a concealnt Barrier here.
"Dinsional Bishop, Tolyado?"
Sigrid cut straight to the chase.
She didn't expect the Dinsional Branch to send such powerful support, that the Dinsional Bishop himself would personally co to et her.
A man from the Dinsional Branch so strong could only be the Dinsional Bishop himself.
She couldn't be bothered to expose him earlier, but now she didn't want to play along anymore.
Under the sunrise.
"Here!"
Tolyado instantly raised his hand in salute, giving Sigrid a standard military salute.
"..."
A long silence passed between them.
Sigrid had heard that the Dinsional Bishop was not a normal person.
But she never imagined he would show her such respect.
Way too much.
"Dinsional Bishop, what do you need for?"
Sigrid folded her arms and inquired of Tolyado.
She remained cautious of the Cardinal Archbishop of the Southern Continent, whom she was eting for the first ti, not allowing his overly vibrant spirit to fool her into thinking Tolyado was easy to deal with. The lunatic dared to defy even the Bishop of Destruction and had a sense of chaos in his mind.
Moreover, this Bishop was exceedingly close to the grassroots, actually waiting for her in the station building for more than ten days, perfectly blending into Nanwantina.
