Lanci turned and looked at her.

"I'm saying, after finishing off at Honing's capital this ti, since you can't go back to the Holy Polante Theocracy anyway, consider coming to Naka..."

At that mont, a sudden burst of red light enveloped them, as the blinding scarlet illuminated every face in the darkness.

logas had not finished speaking when the gravitational pull of the ground's barrier spontaneously appeared, bursting forth with dazzling fireworks and deafening booms that swallowed them whole.

Lanci and the Great Demon Clan had no ti to react before a surge of gravity hit them, and they plumted sharply downwards!

Space distorted and deford, at tis stretching, at tis compressing, as the wind howled in their ears, like thousands of demons roaring and screaming.

The surrounding scenery rapidly fell upwards, as nurous vibrant colors suddenly appeared in the originally pitch-black void, spinning and changing like a kaleidoscope.

Buildings, like Rubik's cubes embedded in the night, constantly flew past their eyes, so upside down, so slanted, completely defying the laws of gravity.

Magnificent wooden structures intermingled with fortress-like stone walls, sparkling with brilliant and crimson light, forming a twisted and bizarre world.

"Pope!"

logas's voice was particularly sharp and piercing in the wind, reaching out her hand towards the Pope, desperately trying to reach him.

She was the Great Demon Clan mber closest to the Pope when they fell into the barrier, the other Great Demon Clan mbers had already vanished without a trace.

"logas, don't worry."

Lanci called out in response.

There is no absolute, powerful barrier partitioning Blood Moon City; they were rely dispersed while falling because they passed through different spatial barriers. If no other Blood Clan mbers blocked the Great Demon Clan, it wouldn't be long until they regrouped.

Due to the mass intruders this ti, Blood Moon City had switched to an attack-defense mode, rather than the encirclent mode from last ti.

The Ancestors of the Blood Clan could fully utilize Blood Moon City's ho defense advantage by dispersing the enemies, sending them to more suitable battlegrounds to face their match and be defeated one by one.

Unless there was a lone enemy foolishly rushing in, only then would they all gather together to besiege the intruder.

The planner must be the Seventh Primogenitor, Helitier.

As the Astrologer of the Blood Clan, she would match the fallen Great Demon Clan mbers into different sub-palaces, led by Blood Clan Marquises in battle.

The entrance to Blood Moon City is on the west side, the center is the Blood King Palace, and the other directions, east, south, and north, are sub-palaces governed by the Blood Clan Marquises.

And the weakened Pope of the Holy Polante Theocracy would be sent to the most dangerous Blood King Palace, for a one-on-one with Rashar, the Third Ancestor.

"You must win! Your head is mine to take!"

logas shouted, offering a rather awkward blessing of victory to Lanci.

Her scorpion tail still instinctively tried to hook onto the hem of Lanci's clothing, but the chaotic gravity within the barrier and the space that could twist everything montarily separated them, like two leaves scattered by a fierce wind.

They vanished from each other's sight.

"Thank you, logas."

Lanci continued to plumt alone.

The buildings around him grew denser, and upside-down citadels pressed down towards him.

"Pope, what are you doing here?"

A mocking voice echoed around, like the pronouncent of a deity.

This voice was all too familiar to Lanci; he had heard it far too many tis in the Mirror of Tiberius, almost to the point of nostalgia.

"How's that, not welcoming ?"

The black-robed Pope hung upside down, pressing the silver-white mask to his face, plumting freely towards the Blood King Palace.

He had already discarded his disguise, ready for battle.

Consider it a rehearsal for the Cerryti Empire's assault on Blood Moon City.

Although in the present there's no such luxurious array of Great Demon General allies and since the Cerryti Empire is at the height of its power, perhaps the present is the true difficulty mode of Blood Moon City.

But this Blood Moon End of the World's decaying Blood Moon City is already thoroughly familiar to Lanci.

"Heh, of course, you're welco. I just wonder if, in a mont, the Pope can still be as aggressive as now."

The Ancestor's voice rose like shadows in the darkness.

Suddenly, a resplendent golden door opened before him.

Without hesitation, Lanci passed through, the fall beginning to slow.

This was the place.

The final destination of Blood Moon End of the World, the Blood King Palace.

He looked around, and when his feet finally touched the ground, he found himself slowly descending onto the center of a circular plaza.

The plaza was paved with black and white marble, featuring thirteen towering stone columns reaching a hundred ters in height.

The mocking voice echoed around—

"Welco to Blood Moon City, Pope of the Holy Polante Theocracy."

The voice emanated from the unfathomable depths of the fog at the edge of the plaza.

A figure slowly erged, dressed in pure black velvet, adorned with the golden Honing noble family crest on the lapel.

He looked no more than twelve or thirteen years old, with porcelain-white skin and smooth chestnut hair that fell to his shoulders.

"I really didn't expect you to co. I've been law-abiding in the Huo Ning Empire for quite so years, you know."

Duke Rashar, the Third Ancestor, flashed a mischievous smile, his tone casual as if he were catching up with an old friend.

However, his eyes were filled with irony and disdain, mocking Lanci's folly and ignorance.

"But since you are here, let us have a good chat, Pope of the Holy Polante Theocracy."

Rashar perford an elegant, ancient noble gesture, his right hand placed over his chest, left foot stepping back, his body leaning forward slightly as if he were greeting a distinguished guest.

"Rashar, you're still in the mood to chat with ?"

Lanci stood alone in the center of the plaza, questioning Rashar, the Third Ancestor.
