164: Chapter 028 Return_1 164: Chapter 028 Return_1 From afar, the rmaid officiant, carrying jade beads, swam over slowly.
They had arrived early, but seeing the Sovereign Divine God and Miss Yaya quietly enjoying the night sky, they did not co up to disturb them.
Only now, seeing them chatting happily and no longer admiring the scenery, did they approach.
Walking up to them, they offered a scroll to Su He with clasped hands, “Sovereign Divine God, the records concerning the Dragon Turtle Heaven Tribulation are all contained herein…
Additionally, our tribe has prepared so modest food and drink, and we would be honored if you would join us.”
Had it not been for the improper condition of the Dragon Turtle earlier, the rmaid tribe would have gone out of their way to be hospitable.
Legend had it that when the gods were still present, the Dragon Turtle would occasionally visit, and at that ti, the rmaid tribe was vast, with more than a hundred thousand people.
During each banquet, all hundred thousand would be busy with preparations, the food on offer was rare in the world.
Regrettably, before the gods withdrew from the world, they disbanded their kin, leaving only their tribe to guard the Dragon Turtle’s Great Tomb.
Feng Yaya jumped up happily.
Having a feast and a lively atmosphere was more important than anything else.
Su He thanked them, received the scroll, and upon unfurling it he was montarily stunned—he did not recognize the writing!
The characters of the Mystery Huang World were extrely similar to the small seal script of his previous life, but these characters were twisted like tadpoles, resembling symbols as much as writing, which Su He could not recognize at all.
He looked towards the rmaid officiant, who after a mont of hesitation, had a realization and said apologetically, “Sovereign Divine God, please forgive my oversight, these are characters created by our god.
They have been passed down in our tribe for tens of thousands of years, and it was an oversight on this old servant’s part…”
Things that are habitual are the easiest to overlook.
After a mont of silence, she smiled ruefully, “All that is left in our tribe are the god-created scripts; I do not know the languages of the outside world.
Fortunately, the records here are not extensive.
How about I relate them directly to the Sovereign Divine God?”
“Then I am in your debt,” Su He said.
The rmaid officiant led Su He toward the banquet, explaining as they walked, “The Divine God Beast Tribulation is similar to the Heavenly Tribulation that cultivators face in the Demonic Realm, but not the sa.
The Heavenly Tribulation is not all thunder; different Divine God Beasts encounter different tribulations such as great calamities of water and fire, wind and thunder, and even thunderous sounds and illusion realms.
Fortunately, your clan is best at defense, and with a strong external appearance, you need not fear any Tribulation.”
As she spoke, she looked at Su He’s External Phase Turtle Mountain with admiration in her eyes.
To have such a formidable external appearance at such a young age, how did he achieve it?
“Sovereign Divine God, as long as you continue to hamr and refine your external appearance and solidify your bloodline, you will surely get through the Heavenly Tribulation—when our god was alive, her gifted nature was unparalleled; what she sought was not to simply survive the Tribulation, but to enhance her foundation amidst it.”
She looked at Su He earnestly, saying, “If the Sovereign Divine God is to undergo the Tribulation, it is best to find a location where two great worlds’ space intersects, such as the various great wastelands.
Although the Heavenly Tribulation will beco even more terrifying due to the combined effects of the two great worlds, once you overco it, you will be nurtured by the origin energy of both worlds.
Your future potential would know no bounds!
If you cannot find such a place, then undergo the Tribulation in the Mystery Huang World or the Sealed Emperor Great World; the origins of these two worlds are the most robust, making them the pri choice for a Divine God Beast’s Tribulation.”
The Sealed Emperor Great World and the Mystery Huang World are themselves special, not only because the cultivators are powerful, but also because the origin energy of the worlds far exceeds that of other great worlds.
Su He nodded, committing this to mory.
The rmaid officiant continued, “Sovereign Divine God, please rember, undergoing the Tribulation is extrely private; do not allow others to enter into your Heavenly Tribulation, as that would multiply its power and increase its unpredictability!
It is also forbidden to use Magical Treasures or Formations refined by others.
This is different from a cultivator’s Thunder Tribulation, as the Heavenly Tribulation tests whether the Sovereign Divine God qualifies to beco a Divine God Beast.
You cannot rely on external objects, and even if you set up Formations or use Magical Treasures, they must be personally refined by yourself.”
Su He: “…”
His cultivation journey had been too short; he had only superficially touched upon Formations and Artifact Refining, without truly delving into them.
Moreover…
if other Divine God Beasts were only concerned with eating and sleeping, where would they get Formations to set up?
“Before the Tribulation, weren’t there any guidelines from the ancestors of our tribe?” Su He asked, puzzled.
Divine God Beasts were rare, and even less common were those of a specific type.
Shouldn’t there be so care for the younger generations who were about to undergo the Tribulation?
The rmaid officiant shook her head, “Before becoming a Dragon Turtle, there would never be a senior Dragon Turtle appearing.
Our god did not state the reason, only that there is such a record.”
Su He wondered, what kind of logic was this?
If it wasn’t my offspring, whether it lived or died had nothing to do with ?
Su He couldn’t figure it out.
The group was not moving fast, but the rmaid Tribe was close by, and in just a few words they had already arrived at the banquet site.
The so-called banquet actually only had Su He’s seat of honor, along with the Sacrifice and the Clan Leader’s company.
There were no tables, chairs, or stools, just an underwater rock forest.
rmaids carried lotus leaves over, upon which were laid various delicacies, mainly raw fish, as well as countless mountain treasures.
This was what the rmaids of the Island Among the Clouds had prepared, mobilizing the whole tribe, for Su He’s arrival.
“We hope the Sovereign Divine God will forgive us, as in our haste we couldn’t prepare fine delicacies.
This modest wine and simple food, we hope the Sovereign Divine God will overlook.”
This was already very good, the most exquisite food Su He had seen since crossing over into this world.
But this should be considered entertaining a guest rather than an offering, right?
This rmaid Tribe was the retinue of the White Jade Dragon Turtle, and if it wasn’t considered an offering, there shouldn’t be any dice falling from the sky!
He responded to the rmaid Ritual and the Clan Leader, while quietly slipping a piece of sashimi into the External Space.
The dice did not fall.
Very good!
The least impressive dish presented to Su He was the flesh of Three-star Beasts, extrely fresh and lovely.
Feng Yaya ate deliciously, mingled among several rmaid sisters, extrely envious of their tails and fins, and stuck small shells on her body to imitate the scales around the rmaids’ waists and bellies.
The Toad had no idea where he threw his smoking pipe; he grabbed lotus leaves with one claw, constantly pouring plates of delicious food into his mouth, and at tis, stashing so in his pockets.
As he ate, Su He asked the rmaid Sacrifice, “May I ask the sacrifice, how can one exit this grand tomb space?”
The Sacrifice said that once he had achieved the Dragon Turtle form and co of age to return once more, there seed to be an exit.
The Sacrifice put down his chopsticks, bowed slightly, and said, “Sovereign Divine God Sir, now that you have received My Divine God Turtle Shell, once you don it, you are the Divine God Beast Dragon Turtle.
Activate your vision and closely observe, and you should be able to see the weak points in the space, through which you can break out.”
The Dragon Turtle can see spaces?
Su He nodded slightly to a rmaid girl who brought the food, expressing his thanks, “Exiting from here, does it lead to the outside world or the Dragon Turtle Mini-world we ca from?”
The gluttonous Toad abruptly stopped his movents, maintaining the act of opening his mouth to receive food, and listened silently without moving.
After so thought, the Sacrifice said, “I heard Frog Taoist friend ntion that mini-world.
If this old servant isn’t mistaken, it should have been the dwelling of our Divine God back then.
That mini-world once connected here directly and has even weaker spatial integrity.
Breaking through the space should bring us back to the mini-world.”
Once, a hundred thousand tribespeople lived there, but now, according to the Toad, it has beco a realm dominated by Exotic Beasts, not a single rmaid to be found.
I wonder where the rmaid kin of the past have gone?
The Toad mumbled to himself, already anticipating this to so extent, but couldn’t help feeling lost.
After swallowing two pieces of toad at, he suddenly rembered what the Sacrifice had just said and looked at Su He in disbelief.
The Turtle hadn’t returned the Turtle Shell?
And it could still transform into the Dragon Turtle True Form?!
His breath quickened, thinking, would that an he didn’t have to wait for his advancent to Dragon Turtle to send Frog away?
Having been locked up for so many years, the frog should be free by now…
Wait, this turtle is no good turtle, could it take this opportunity to make demands, asking the frog to acknowledge it as its master?
The toad was conflicted once again.
It was a al suitable for both host and guest, yet only the toad ate with profound unease.
It was only after quite so ti following the al that the rmaids, prompted by the ritual, left reluctantly.
The attraction of the Dragon Turtle to the rmaids was illogical.
Ya Ya, like a crazy little thing, followed the rmaids into the stone houses, running wild for over half an hour before returning with a bag full of rmaid Pearls.
Su He had rested quite enough, His Divine Sense had not completely recovered, but at least he was no longer looking as if he would wither away.
He had gone from looking like a small pond to resembling a small lake again.
After bidding farewell to the Sacrifice and the Clan Leader, Su He took out the White Jade Turtle Shell, slipped it onto his body, turning entirely white jade in color, and with a pair of turtle eyes open, he strained to look around.
The space was not as one might imagine, enclosed by six walls forming an empty room.
Space was everywhere!
Moving one’s hand, shifting up, down, left, or right—all was space.
Weakness in space would not manifest like a soft mbrane suddenly appearing on an eggshell.
Instead, it ant that the force of space in a particular area had beco weak.
The constraints on the objects within that space had lessened.
With golden light flashing in his turtle eyes and the dragon horns on his head shining brightly, the space before Su He appeared as if it was a sea with occasional bubbles drifting by.
This was the weak point of space.
“Found it!” Su He declared in a deep voice.
He had found a bubble large enough.
Ya Ya sat in the nest on Turtle Mountain, the toad gripping Su He’s turtle claw nervously.
Su He closed his eyes and ramd headfirst into the bubble.
In an instant, the world spun, and space turned upside down.
It felt as though being sucked into a vortex, spinning uncontrollably.
The faster the spin, the dizzier one beca.
With a plop, it was as if they had squeezed out of sothing.
The scent of rmaids in the air was completely gone; a turtle, a frog, and a person fell from midair.
Hurriedly opening their eyes, they were stunned by the scene in front of them.
Above the boundless sea, more than ten water tornadoes shot straight into the sky.
The sea below was raging and tumultuous.
Above their heads, the sky flashed with lightning and thundered.
Before they could marvel, the three of them plunged into the sea, where whirlpools spun recklessly below.
Catching the toad and whirling it away to who knows where, Ya Ya scread while clutching the bird’s nest.
Su He broke through the water’s surface, looking around.
This place wasn’t far from Monkey Island, just a thousand li away.
Tiger Whales were whistling on the sea’s surface, each with a Thunder Monkey lying on its back.
A wild boar was floating in the sea, hooves held up in surrender to the vast waters, but the sea was deaf to its plea, as the waves continued to rcilessly lash at it.
Little Tiger Whales couldn’t withstand the suction of the water tornadoes and were tossed up and down within, while so Thunder Monkeys were slapped off their whales by huge waves and sank to the sea floor along with the whirlpools.
The leader of the Tiger Whales struggled to beat its tail, causing whirlpools to form in an attempt to fight against the sea, to little avail, even producing a counter effect instead.
Even a Six-star beast was powerless against the forces of nature.
Su He comnted tersely, are these exotic beasts not content to stay on the island and have co to conquer nature in the sea?
“Ao!”
With a long cry from Su He, he waved his turtle claw, and the water tornadoes on the sea surface disconnected from the sky, spinning as they fell back into the sea.
He pressed his claw downward, sending a ripple from the center of the Dragon Turtle outwards, calming whirlpools and pacifying the giant waves as it passed.
In the blink of an eye, the wind cald, and the waves settled.
Only fish, shrimp, and crabs lifted into the sky by the tornadoes rained down, pitter-patter, like rain.
With the Turtle Shell’s blessing, Su He was like a sea deity.
Once the Turtle Shell was removed, Su He walked atop the waves, surveying his surroundings.
A surprise streaking Little Green Snake fell from the sky, smacking into the water with a splash, motionless as if dead.
It took quite a while before it suddenly snapped awake, thrashing its tail to surface, broke through the water, let out a pitiful scream, and turned its head to lock eyes with Su He.
Gradually, its eyes filled with resentnt.
This turtle has beco so heartless.
You all left, leaving her, a single snake, behind.
She was just a Little Green Snake that hadn’t transford into a demon!
Only equivalent to a Two-star beast in combat power; do you know the terror of opening your eyes to see creatures of four, five, and six stars everywhere?
The Green Snake flicked its tongue, and after much effort, finally spoke, “Where did you go?
Monkey Island has been taken by others!”
With a voice full of grievance, it could not fully express its indignation.
“Eh?” Ya Ya raised her head.
Who dares to take my island?
She surveyed the sea, witnessing a miserable group of Tiger Whales carrying an equally sorry lot of monkeys—these injuries were not caused by the sea; they were beaten by other beasts!
A defeated army on the run!
“Ferocious teeth!” Ya Ya shouted, her fighting spirit soaring.
“Khikhikho~ao~” In the distance, the wild boar howled, its hind legs spinning like a top, swimming backstroke towards Ya Ya.
It couldn’t get up anymore; it had drunk too much seawater and couldn’t turn over.
“So silly!”
Ya Ya uttered disdainfully.
