To the Red Dragon Empire, Adams is such a competent steward of the empire.

Adams manages almost all the affairs of the Red Dragon Empire.

In the Red Dragon Empire, under the King of Calamity Abel, the whole nation is mainly divided into two factions. One is the monster legion that once assisted the Red Dragon Abel in building the vast empire.

The monster legion mainly controls the military strength of the Red Dragon Empire, overseeing aspects such as external warfare.

The second faction is the administrative bureaucratic force, led by Adams and centered around the defected human aristocrats, primarily handling administrative affairs and managing the large country.

Typically,

the monster legion even receives orders from the chief governor of the Red Dragon Empire, Adams, indicating Adams's high status in the eyes of the King of Calamity Abel.

Of course,

as the renowned King of Calamity, he would never easily entrust everything entirely to Adams. There must be so ans of restraint.

This is not known to outsiders.

After issuing the first command upon awakening,

the King of Calamity returned to the depths of the volcanic lair.

The creatures kneeling around dissipated one after another, each attending to their own affairs.

As for the small town at the foot of the mountain affected, occasionally a human noble shakes their head but says nothing, rely driving away.

There's nothing much to say, except to acknowledge those people were simply unlucky.

Upon receiving the thunderous summon from the King of Calamity,

Chief Governor Adams did not delay and hurriedly proceeded towards the Red Dragon's Nest, dressed in luxurious attire, head slightly bowed in contemplation.

Entering the fiery booming lair,

he saw the gigantic figure sitting atop a heap of golden treasures, and Adams quickly knelt on the ground:

"Great King of Calamity, Your Majesty, your loyal servant Adams cos to pay homage!"

Almost prostrating himself on the ground,

his head knocked against the sowhat warm floor,

as if utterly devoted.

From beginning to end, Adams did not make the slightest error in his etiquette because he understood that the King of Calamity Abel delighted in this kind of formal ceremony to emphasize his exalted status.

Each ti performing these rites flawlessly to appease the King of Calamity gained Adams the favor of Abel, thus becoming a significant advantage in governing the Red Dragon Empire.

"Enough, has anything noteworthy happened during my slumber?"

Having just awakened from a brief sleep,

the massive Dragon Body of the King of Calamity Abel sat amidst the resplendent heap of gold and silver treasures, reveling in the sensation of gold rubbing against his scales, a deep sense of joy arose, making him less attentive to Adams's etiquette.

"Your Majesty, everything in the empire is well. During this period, the Central Earth Continent has plunged into further chaos, those self-proclaid righteous Wind Speaker organizations are embroiled in internal conflicts and have halted their offensives against the empire. Perhaps if Your Majesty takes action, leading the monster legion could completely break through those despicable individuals' defense lines..."

Adams began to recount the recent situation on the continent.

He detailed how several kingdoms had fallen into internal strife, with wars and natural disasters rampant elsewhere, flas of warfare spreading across every inch of land, and the chaotic situation engulfing the entire Seta Continent in war.

It seems there are forces at work behind these events.

Because two years ago,

the self-proclaid righteous Wind Speaker Alliance had rallied the nations of Central Earth to put aside their grudges and discuss a solution, to quell the turmoil sweeping across Central Earth, unite their forces into an allied army to confront the western Red Dragon Empire, the southern Blue Dragon Kingdom, the eastern Ent Alliance, and the North Sea Sea Sirens which posed significant threats to the human dominance in Central Earth.

The proposal from the Wind Speaker Alliance was quite appealing to the public.

After nearly a decade of chaos and disasters, people were weary of war and conflict, tired of the rampant warfare.

It quickly gained widespread support.

However,

the ultimate result was unexpected,

suddenly, the upper echelons of the Wind Speaker Alliance experienced internal turmoil, the chairperson who had tirelessly advocated for this cause disappeared, internal discord and division ensued, rendering all prior preparations wasted and consigning the proposition to oblivion, unspoken again.

This event was extrely mysterious.

Everyone could see that there must be so conspiracy or clues, yet outsiders had no ans of uncovering them.

With the hopes for peace shattered,

the situation on the Central Earth Continent grew even more chaotic.

It is said that one of the Ancient Seven Kingdoms encountered internal unrest, with rebels occupying large territories, poised to beco the second kingdom to face division after the King of Ireland.

anwhile,

according to information from rchants, the core of the Central Earth Continent seed to exhibit traces of demons moving secretly, and a major city with a population of thirty thousand was sacrificed overnight, opening the Gate of Purgatory.

The Divine Court began to rise internally, with the rcenary Union, Thief Guild, and Mage Alliance secretly surging in influence.

Amidst such chaos,

the border defense, instigated by the Wind Speaker Alliance to hinder further expansion of the Red Dragon Empire into the Central Earth Continent, has weakened to a historical low; in these two years, those Adventurer defenses have been cowering within defensive cities, not daring to erge.

With the situation so favorable, Adams felt a growing urge to prompt the King of Calamity to wage another war, invading the Central Earth Continent.

However,

unfortunately, despite Adams's intense persuasion, the King of Calamity atop the treasure heaps remained unmoved.

"Although the Central Earth Continent is rich in resources, conquering it is my aspiration, unfortunately, now is not the ti... The apparent chaos in Central Earth is rely among the human groups... The real great upheaval has yet to co; wait for the right ti when we can march forth and unify the continent."

The enormous body of the King of Calamity Abel reluctantly shifted his gaze from the Gold and Silver Mountains beneath and looked at his foremost subordinate Smith.

"The changes on the Central Earth Continent involve more than just war, there's deep hidden intelligence behind it. In case of food shortages, you can frequently raid and harass those countries bordering the Central Earth, but unless by my order, do not take any actions inside."

As the steward of the Red Dragon Empire, the King of Calamity Abel's words leaked certain hints.

However,

he ultimately did not clarify, leaving much unsaid.

It was unclear whether the issue was too significant even for the King of Calamity to fully disclose, or for other reasons.

Adams thoughtfully nodded.

Since the King of Calamity Abel did not speak, Adams wisely refrained from probing further, an experience honed from years of governing the Red Dragon Empire.

So,

with a flash of insight,

Adams made another proposal.

"If we cannot advance eastward, then for the empire's expansion, the best route is to head south now."

"Currently moving south, there is a very good opportunity!"

Recently,

several countries bordering the south,

suddenly pledged allegiance to the renowned Blue Dragon Kingdom known on the Central Earth Continent!
