Austin’s Dragon Vein Attendants imdiately began intense training once ford. Once they were trained to cooperate with ordinary Beastman armies, they launched their campaign and embarked on the path of conquest.
The Jackal Wolfman Tribe, numbering over five hundred, was still able to maintain peace and stability, but other tribes imdiately t disaster.
Austin established his territory with the Dragon’s Nest as the center, extending ten miles around, rarely allowing Beastn to cross this boundary. However, that did not an he didn’t send people to investigate the conditions of nearby Beastman Tribes.
Early on, when Austin asked the Fox-faced Man, Quik, how to quickly increase the population of the Dragon Nest Tribe, Quik proposed two thods.
One involved lighting smoke pillars to attract wandering Beastn, raising the Dragon Nest Tribe from a micro-tribe of over thirty to a small tribe of a hundred.
The other was to sustain war through war, absorbing and annexing antagonistic Beastman Tribes, thereby rapidly increasing the power within the Dragon Nest Tribe.
Due to the lack of strength of the Dragon Nest Tribe and other reasons at the ti, Austin temporarily shelved the second thod but also sent Quik to contact so micro-tribes living in hardship to see if they could be absorbed into the Dragon Nest Tribe.
Austin also understood early that for the Dragon Nest Tribe to rapidly grow and expand in a short period, war was the most effective ans.
Therefore, Austin restricted the Clan Beastn to operate within the Dragon Nest Territory but also instructed Quik to explore the conditions of nearby tribes to facilitate war in the future.
This exploration task was only assigned to Quik, without exerting real effort, mainly recording information about other Beastman Tribe mbers encountered during hunting trips.
Now with the appearance of the Dragon Vein Attendants, the biggest shortcoming of the Dragon Nest Tribe was rectified, and Austin had no hesitation, expanding rapidly in all directions.
Previous recorded information was searched out, and this ti the entire Dragon Nest Tribe truly emptied out, majorly scouted and discovered several small tribes either ten, twenty, or thirty miles away east, west, and south.
Austin temporarily did not plan to deal with the Jackal Wolfman Tribe in the north, only after defeating and absorbing several tribes in the east, west, and south would he fully engage with the Jackal Wolfman Tribe.
The Minotaur Tribe, where Saru resided, was one of the target tribes of this Dragon Nest Tribe’s campaign.
Minotaurs, bold and straightforward, yet careless, were completely unaware when the Dragon Nest Tribe approached their vicinity, resulting in the entire tribe being almost stunned by an unexpected rock assault from above.
Fortunately, the Minotaur leader was fierce, quickly boosting the courage of his subordinates, charging down towards the Dragon Nest Tribe’s military formation advancing from the mountain’s base.
"Kill them! Crush this bunch of bastards!"
Saru followed in the chaos of the Minotaur Tribe, carrying a giant wooden club, and charged alongside the Minotaur leader.
"Charge!"
At the mountain base, the Dragon Nest Tribe’s Beastn army also roared with deafening battle cries, long spears standing tall, and they charged fiercely, appearing more organized than the scattered Minotaur Tribe. Their steps were almost in unison.
However, Minotaurs were naturally stronger in physique and strength, not to ntion there were over two hundred Minotaurs in the tribe, while the Dragon Nest Legion, composed mainly of Kobolds, Jackal Wolf People, and Goblins, collectively only numbered around a hundred.
Under these circumstances, the Dragon Nest Legion was at an absolute disadvantage in terms of numbers and individual combat power.
Moreover, coupled with the terrain advantage, the Minotaur Tribe’s superiority was heightened.
Under normal conditions, the Dragon Nest Legion should have entrenched at the mountain base to ward off the enemy, rather than directly charging at the Minotaur Tribe.
But now, at the forefront of the Dragon Nest Legion, there were nine Extraordinary Dragon Vein Beastn as vanguards, whose aggressive montum was difficult for ordinary Beastn to withstand.
Furthermore, Austin started this war against the Minotaur Tribe largely to annex and absorb them. If he could break the Minotaur Tribe’s morale at the outset, integrating them into the Dragon Nest Tribe would be much simpler.
Just as they say, once a thousand people gather, they can cover the earth, and once ten thousand gather, they can encompass the entire land.
Though the total number of Beastn on the entire mountainside battlefield only totaled around three hundred, the Minotaur Tribe’s scattered formation covered the entire mountainside.
"Kill!"
Close-quarter combat followed, as the enraged Minotaur Tribe collided with the Dragon Nest Legion.
However, in the next mont, the Minotaur leader’s envisioned scene of shattering the opposing group of midgets did not materialize; instead, it was as if they had collided with an incredibly hard reef.
Bam!
The Minotaur leader leaped high to lead the charge, a massive Stone Hamr crashing down, but a half-human-high Stone Shield slamd down like a wall with unstoppable montum. Under the enormous force, the great Stone Hamr in the leader’s hand was knocked away, and he was thrown backward.
With several thudding sounds, the Minotaur leader flew back several tribe mbers before stopping, rolling eight or nine ters.
"Damn it, how can these bastards be so strong!"
The Minotaur leader, gasping for breath, cursed and swore as he scrambled to his feet in a clumsy tumble.
He shook his head, slowly regaining so clarity.
However, at that mont, he was horrified to see that under the onslaught of the Dragon Nest Legion, his Minotaur deploynt was like a loose heap of sand, penetrated and torn apart. With nine gigantic Stone Shields at the core, Long Spears thrust out from behind, skewering each Minotaur before they could even land a hit, toppling them to the ground.
In just this brief mont, the entire Minotaur tribe had already lost a fifth of its forces, yet they hadn’t inflicted even the slightest harm on the Dragon Nest Legion.
"Not good!"
A shiver ran through the Minotaur leader’s heart, the previous anger incited by those dwarves had long vanished.
Though he was reckless, he wasn’t stupid. Seeing the defeat was certain, he imdiately had the thought of fleeing.
"Retreat for now! I’ll find another ti to show these damned bastards my might!"
You just wait for , I’ll definitely be back!
The Minotaur leader looked hatefully at the Dragon Vein Beastn charging left and right as though no one was there, no longer caring for the subordinates who had already lost their courage, he turned and fled in embarrassnt.
Yet at this mont,
Boom!!!
The sky above suddenly turned gloomy, an overwhelming pressure spread out in all directions, the entire firmant seed to press down like a tsunami into an abyss, the terrifying pressure descended like a mountain.
The remaining resisting Minotaurs imdiately went weak in the knees, collapsing like wheat before a gust of wind, their bodies trembling uncontrollably under this dreadful pressure.
The Minotaur leader, facing this impact head-on, staggered a few steps back, staring up at the sky in astonishnt.
In the sky before him, unbeknownst to him, was covered by a pair of enormous dark blue wings. The shadow it cast seed to plunge the world into a pit of despair. Simultaneously, a hideous head descended slowly from above, its blood-red eyes carrying a frightening pressure, gradually approaching in front of him.
At that mont, the Minotaur leader felt himself sinking into an icy pit, as if a bucket of cold water was poured over him in midwinter, an endless chill surged into his heart.
The battlefield around instantly fell into dead silence, the previously noisy battleground was devoid of any sound.
He stood there transfixed, watching the nacing head slowly draw near, his heart flooding with infinite fear.
Fear,
Unprecedented fear,
Fear that the head would suddenly open and bite his head off.
Yet despite the terror, he remained motionless.
His hands and feet were ice-cold, as if every muscle in his body was frozen stiff, unable to move even a finger, only able to watch as the terrifying head approached.
All the Minotaurs on the ground shivered under that terrifying aura, not daring to move at all.
This was the suppression of higher life forms over lower ones, the absolute rule of the strong over the weak!
Even the Beastn of the Dragon Nest Tribe, even the Dragon Vein Attendant, were half-kneeling at this mont. However, compared to the Minotaurs’ fear, the Beastn of the Dragon Nest Tribe were more filled with excitent and fervor.
The Blue Young Dragon appeared, wantonly exuding its terrible majesty, sweeping through the heavens and earth,
exhibiting the mighty power of dragon prestige, bringing thousands to their knees in submission.
He glanced at the Minotaur leader, whose limbs were stiff in front of him,
Cold, ancient, solemn,
A voice without any fluctuation resonated in the air,
as if carrying the decree of the Heavenly Dao:
"Submit, or die!"
