Calamity?

What is that?

The light in the room suddenly faded away, and the Stone Ring returned to its previous unremarkable state.

The floating "Treasure Box" also fell to the ground.

The dilapidated house regained its forr appearance.

Just then, Lin Han suddenly heard several noisy and chaotic voices from outside.

"That damned brat, offended that nobleman, and made us co all the way here. Today’s feast was such a good opportunity, completely ruined by him, damn!"

"There’s no other way, the higher-ups just gave orders, and we have to run ourselves ragged. Let’s quickly deal with that brat. Although we missed the feast, I heard that this brat was adopted by an old widower who died a few years ago. This brat should have inherited at least so silver taels; even if we clean him up, we won’t lose anything."

The noisy voices ca from outside, without any concealnt.

Reeking of drunkenness, reckless and unrestrained.

It’s clear they received orders from soone above.

Lin Han was initially stunned but quickly realized that they were likely targeting him!

The only possible reason might be the youth standing on the Divine Crane today, as majestic as the Immortal Gods!

Perhaps that nobleman didn’t pay any attention to him.

But offending soone of such stature doesn’t require them to speak; there are plenty eager to ingratiate themselves by cleaning up the ss.

For a disciple of a prestigious Sect like him, Lin Han’s offense might be forgotten in a blink,

but what if eliminating that brat could make him happy?

So things you need not be ordered by a big shot to do them.

As for that little servant’s life,

who’s to bla? Only that brat’s bad luck.

Just a trivial servant, what does he compare to great figures?

Suddenly, Lin Han felt an icy chill enveloping his heart, as if he’d plunged into a frozen pool in the dead of winter, with this chill engulfing him completely.

Lin Han, with little life experience, couldn’t fathom the complexities involved.

Instinctively, he felt imnse danger.

Perhaps today would be the most perilous mont of his life!

Cre-e-ak!

The door was opened.

A waft of alcohol hit him in the face,

as two large n stord in from outside.

"What...what do you want?"

Lin Han was filled with fear,

ultimately just a naive young boy, staggering backward, stepping on the "Treasure Box" and falling to the ground.

"Oh, still alive and kicking!"

"No choice, brat, who told you to offend the proprietor’s esteed guest. They have the magnanimity not to stoop to your level, but we small fry can’t just stand by and do nothing; prepare to die peacefully!"

"Co over and lend a hand."

The two large n steadily closed in on Lin Han, blocking the door behind him.

Lin Han retreated in distress, cornered into a place.

Two massive hands seized Lin Han’s hands and feet, while another pair reached for his neck, trying to strangle him.

Choking,

Painful,

the scene before him was about to plunge into darkness.

At this mont,

from sowhere unexpected, Lin Han gained strength, grabbed one man’s wrist, twisted his joints, and suddenly freed his right hand from one of the n’s grip.

This was a Basic Claw Technique taught by the Martial Arts Instructor,

a simple technique for escaping.

Useless against Martial Artists above Middle Tier Body Refinent, but in a fight among lower tier fighters, can often result in unexpected outcos.

Years upon years of practice, although mostly fragnted, have been deeply ingrained in Lin Han’s mind.

Instinctively, Lin Han used this claw technique and freed his right hand from the big man’s grip.

However,

having freed one hand,

the situation was still exceedingly dangerous.

The strength of the two big n was naturally far superior to Lin Han.

Although they had no cultivation whatsoever and never learned techniques like Basic Boxing, just an adult’s physicality was already enough to overpower Lin Han.

In the scramble, his right hand knocked over the "Treasure Box" beside him, and a sharp sword blade scraped against his skin.

Without any hesitation,

he grabbed the blade between his thumb and forefinger and thrust it forward with force.

Swoosh!

A cold gleam flashed in the dim space, like a Light Blade tearing through the air.

In panic, Lin Han didn’t know what he had cut or what effect it had.

Suddenly,

the hands strangling his neck released their grip.

A hot, bloody liquid suddenly sprayed forth, splattering on his face.

"Ughhh..."

Under the dim light shining through the window, Lin Han saw the man who had just been clutching his throat now clutching his own neck, blood continuously oozing through his fingers.

His eyes were open wide, full of disbelief.

Lin Han had blindly swung the broken sword blade that had severed his throat!

Though the broken sword blade was only the size of a fingernail, it was once a fragnt of a Spirit Sword used by a Condensing Essence Realm master, exceptionally sharp, no re mortal’s body could withstand it!

Lin Han was shocked.

The other companion of the burly man was equally stunned.

Thud!

With a few guttural sounds, the large man with the cut throat, eyes wide open, finally collapsed on the ground with a thud.

Blood trickled, no sign of life left.

"Murder...murder!"

Until the man was completely dead, the other big man finally reacted, scrambling away to escape out the door, yelling loudly as he fled.

The noise snapped Lin Han out of his stupor.

Seeing that the man was about to escape through the door.

Without thinking, he took a few steps using the Basic Body Technique taught by the Martial Arts Instructor, chasing after him.

The so-called Basic Body Technique has nothing to do with Lightweight Skills; it can’t make people fly.

rely so dodging maneuvers; mastering this can increase speed by twenty to thirty percent in a short ti.

All these Basic Techniques, including Basic Body and Basic Boxing, don’t even count as low-tier Martial Techniques.

But,

against an ordinary person, it was enough.

Lin Han powered his legs, moving briskly, and threw a punch before the big man could run out the door.

Basic Boxing Skill - Straight Punch!

The instructor said, for a Straight Punch, all the body’s power must be concentrated at a single point, using both hand and foot to unleash the maximum force.

Otherwise, relying solely on the muscles of the arm, the damage wouldn’t be enough to knock down the opponent.

From the beginning, the Straight Punch, the most lethal technique, was Lin Han’s favorite training move.

Because he once saw his instructor punch through a three-foot-wide wooden log on the martial ground, the shattered wood splintering in all directions, the fearso power left a deep impression on him.

Back then, he thought, if this punch hit soone, wouldn’t it pierce right through them?
