Magic Beasts generally don’t occupy barren lands without reason. Since this cave is inhabited by a group of magic spiders, it suggests that there might be Magic Ore and other resources within.

This is one of the reasons why Austin intends to explore the Spider Cave.

The group cautiously entered the cave, carefully observing their surroundings. Apart from the traces left by Rodney and the others, such as burnt-out campfires, there was nothing unusual.

The firelight illuminated the cave walls, which were not smooth. Stalactites hung from the ceiling, and the uneven rocks cast shadows all around.

The cave was quite spacious, with a height and width of about ten ters. Even as Austin stood in the midst of the group, he felt the vastness of the cave.

However, the Beastn had no interest in this. They were alertly scanning their surroundings, not daring to relax for a mont.

The deeper parts of the cave were pitch black, with nothing visible. The air was silent, with only the rustling sound of footsteps on the ground and the unsteady flicker of fire reflecting off the walls.

Suddenly, a shadow abruptly descended from above!

"Watch your heads! Stab!"

The Beastman team imdiately raised their Long Spears in unison, thrusting towards the shadow that fell from above.

There was no imagined splattering of fluids. The dense Long Spears struck a giant spider web. The web’s strong adhesive force almost glued the spears together, making it impossible to pull back.

At the sa ti, fist-sized black spiders suddenly erged from the shadows, crawling out like a black tide surging towards the Beastn.

The dense swarm of black spiders would strike fear into anyone’s heart, even those without arachnophobia.

At that mont, the Long Spears thrust by the Beastn were stuck in the air by the spider web. Even if they were retrieved, the spears would be of little use against the thousands of fist-sized spiders.

"Use fire! Use fire to stop them!"

Under Austin’s stern command, the Beastn at the forefront hurriedly swung their torches to the ground. The spiders that blindly charged forward were scorched by the fire and imdiately curled up, motionless. So spiders, seeing the flas approaching, leaped back in retreat.

In no ti, a savory scent filled the air, and the ground was littered with lifeless, curled-up spiders. At least a thousand spiders died in this wave.

The remaining spiders seed frightened and retreated, not daring to venture beyond their safety zone.

Yet Austin didn’t relax for a second, his eyes fixed intently on the dark depths of the cave.

Soon, the darkness dispersed, accompanied by a rustling sound. A more than one-ter-tall massive shadow, with nacing limbs and fangs that glimred eerily, erged from the shadows.

Its giant limbs, monstrous face, and its flashing venomous fangs made this large spider several tis more terrifying than the smaller ones!

Its countless eyes fixed on them, causing every Beastman present to break out in a cold sweat, their hearts trembling.

But it didn’t end there. Another rustling sound was heard, and three equally large giant spiders ca out from the depths of the cave, standing opposite the Beastn, their dozen or so glowing eyes staring at them as if looking at a group of walking als.

Four appeared at once, but these four large spiders definitely couldn’t be the leaders of the Spider Cave. At most, they were elite creatures, while deeper down, who knew how many large spiders were hidden, and what size the final Spider Leader would reach.

However, what’s most important now is to deal with the imdiate trouble.

"Everyone, listen to the command, throw spears at those four big guys!"

With the earlier opportunity, the Beastn had already burned the webs stuck to their Long Spears. Following Austin’s command, the Beastn bent their backs and forcefully hurled their Long Spears at the spiders ahead.

The air was pierced with a series of piercing sounds as the Long Spears shot through the air towards the four giant spiders.

Thud, thud, thud...

The Long Spears, carrying imnse power, pierced in, hitting the bodies of the four giant spiders.

To everyone’s surprise, it had no effect at all!

The carapaces of those large spiders were like cowhide Leather Armor. The Long Spears could only dent them slightly before being bounced away.

Several Long Spears that didn’t hit the large spiders achieved astounding results, piercing through several small spiders completely.

Hiss, hiss!

Although the Long Spears didn’t injure the large spiders, it seed the pain was unavoidable, as the four large spiders scread, seemingly overwheld by anger.

Clouds of blue smoke suddenly spewed from the mouths of the four large spiders, spreading into the air. Wherever the blue mist passed, even the dry leaves on the ground were corroded, and the surrounding stone walls were stripped of a thin layer, lting away, making it extrely terrifying.

However, what caught Austin’s attention was the presence of so white clover-like weeds inside the cave. When the dry leaves on the ground were corroded, they were revealed, and when the corrosive poison mist seeped over, instead of withering, they seed to grow brighter.

"These weeds perhaps can serve as an antidote!"

The thought instantly flashed through Blue Young Dragon’s mind, but what’s most important now is to overco the imdiate crisis.

The ground sward with thousands of spiders who, with the large spiders’ screams, seed to go mad and surged towards the Beastn. The air was filled with the spreading blue poison mist, and at the sa ti, the four large spiders continuously shot webs into the air, forcing the Beastn to use their Long Spears to block the descending webs.

"Everyone, retreat!"

Seeing the torches slowly extinguish in the spreading poison mist, the Beastn in the lead were about to be shrouded by the poison mist. The Blue Young Dragon quickly issued a deep-voiced order.

anwhile, the Magic Power circulated along the innate ridians within his body.

Suddenly, a small breeze whipped through the cave. With the agitation of Magic Power, electric arcs began to crackle across Austin’s Scale-covered exterior. The arcs of electricity sparked in the air, and a palpable, oppressive force filled the air, pervading every corner.

The four large spiders also seed to sense the danger, their limbs restless and agitated as if wanting to retreat and flee, while the surrounding smaller spiders were even more helpless, stopping in their tracks, scurrying around like headless flies.
