"Elental Lord? Aren't elental creatures supposed to stay in the Elental Plane? Why would they appear in this kind of place?"
Upon hearing Vini's words, Austin was clearly a bit puzzled.
Elental creatures are magical beings ford purely from magic elents.
Their bodies, structure, and even bones are composed of a single elent.
These creatures, completely at odds with the Pri Material Plane, are irritable and aggressive, attacking any living being that appears before them.
Such creatures should not appear on the Pri Material Plane.
In fact, they aren't naturally occurring beings in the Pri Material Plane.
Elental life forms are born in the Elental Plane, where the entire plane is composed of singular magic elents; it is their birth and survival world.
Just like fish and water,
elental creatures are the sa. Appearing in the Pri Material Plane is akin to fish leaving water and appearing on land.
Of course, elental creatures, relying on their formidable strength, can transform an area of the Pri Material Plane into a place where they can sustain their presence, which is a lot better than fish dying upon leaving water.
However, in the Pri Material Plane, the suppression they endure does not decrease at all, and they can only display a fraction of their power.
Therefore, the Pri Material Plane holds no attraction for elental creatures; instead, it is full of disdain.
Given such an environnt, why did the Elental Lord appear in the Kawa Great Forest?
"I don't know. At first, we designated an area to the east on the map as the site of our second outpost, so we dispatched an advance team to explore it. They found the area had transford from forest to an endless volcanic region."
"The advance team decided to investigate the volcanic region, but didn't get far before they were suddenly attacked by a group of fla-n humanoid creatures. Most of the team perished inside, leaving only a few mbers who barely escaped and couldn't bring back their comrades' bodies."
"Due to this incident, I led a hundred newly trained extraordinary troops to the volcanic region. At the very least, we needed to retrieve the bodies of the advance team."
"Following the guidance of the remaining advance team mbers, we found the area where the battle occurred, but there was nothing there, just so charred marks on the ground. We had no idea what happened to the bodies left behind."
"Finally, we decided to continue moving forward."
"On one side was the forest, on the other side was the volcano; dark red magma flowed through the cracks, and fire-red thorn trees flourished on the scorching land, with so creatures navigating through that massive fiery area."
"In a low red bush near the volcano, we encountered the fire-n humanoid creatures the advance team spoke of. Fortunately, this ti, the party consisted of extraordinary beastn above Bronze Level Middle Tier, and after paying a certain price, the army defeated the enemy."
"Initially, we thought everything was over; however,"
Vini's face showed pain and fear as he spoke.
"The scorching earth suddenly trembled, and a nearby volcano erupted violently, spewing vast magma into the sky, transforming into a rain of teor magma that fell from high altitude."
Pain and self-reproach shone on Vini's face.
"The magma exploded, and flas spread, turning the entire world into a sea of fire, even setting the earth itself afla."
"Casualties were heavy; over half of the hundred extraordinary troops perished, and most of the rest were seriously injured, barely escaping."
"Before leaving the volcano region, we saw within the rising and overwhelming smoke a colossal fla figure glimpsed, claws outstretched, and the intense heat distorted the surrounding space."
"Returning to the tribe, Adinlek deduced that the humanoid creatures that attacked the advance team were likely fire elental creatures, and the last apparition was probably the Fire Elental Lord."
After Vini recounted the Dragon Nest's major setback to Austin, Austin fell into contemplation.
Elental creatures absolutely wouldn't appear on the Pri Material Plane without reason.
Even if a connection erged between an Elental Plane and the Pri Material Plane, elental creatures wouldn't cross over due to their dislike for the environnt there.
Unless there is so irresistible reason forcing them to linger nearby.
For example, so Great Divine Power Users who can traverse the multi-universe often like to capture elental creatures from an Elental Plane to keep at ho, since elental life is useful for purifying and concentrating the air's magic elents.
Under the influence of such irresistible man-made force, even if elental life prefers not the environnt of the Pri Material Plane, it can only beco machines for purifying and concentrating magic power.
But if, as Vini described, a forest land area was transford into an unending volcanic territory, this kind of result doesn't seem human-caused.
"I must see it with my own eyes and find out the cause!"
The change might affect Austin and his clan tribe developnt, so he had to ensure it himself.
The Elental Lord might have a magic power-concentrating item that could allow him to undergo transformation and quickly reach the Gold High Tier stage.
Danger may also be an opportunity.
After staying a while in the Dragon Nest Tribe, Austin took off and left the bustling tribe.
Because it was an investigation, Austin did not bring other beastn, and headed alone toward the eastern volcanic area.
Upon arriving at the destination, Austin's first feeling was heat.
Even from afar, seeing the red earth on the horizon, he felt the overwhelming heatwaves.
Fire attribute elents were extrely concentrated in the vast volcanic area, causing the air to seem ready to ignite.
This was undoubtedly not a natural occurrence.
No one knew what ultimately caused this volcanic region.
"Is this the place?"
On the edge of the volcano-forest boundary, Austin landed on a hill, marveling at the green-red wondrous landscape below.
The green earth was an endless forest.
The red earth consisted of abundantly burned soil and sparse dark-red thorny bushes covering it.
The resilience of life allowed it to tenaciously grow even in such scorching arid volcanic territory.
The boundary of soil with red and green seed to divide the sky world in half.
"A strange place."
After pondering for a mont, Austin spread his wings and flew toward the depths of the volcanic region.
