The magic beasts' talent magic did not disappear because they were corrupted into zombies; instead, so strange mutations occurred. If only ropes were used, it would be easy for the talent magic of those mutated magic beasts to sever them.
However, it doesn't matter much. Although there were so mutations in the magic beasts' talent magic, their movents have beco stiff and sluggish, targeting this weakness is relatively easy.
With the completion of the magic-modified Beastman Three Techniques by Austin, the strength of the elite Dragon Vein Attendants in the Dragon Nest Tribe has been greatly enhanced, dealing with zombie magic beasts below the Silver Level poses no problem.
After assessing and understanding the horde, Austin did not imdiately turn back but continued forward.
He wanted to see how much of this land had been corrupted and whether he could discover the source further in.
As Austin flew swiftly, the green on the forest land beca less and less, the entire land was spotted and pitted, like it had contracted a rotting syphilis, extrely disgusting, and at the sa ti, the horde on the ground beca much sparser, appearing as if a large part of the horde had spread out in all directions.
Flying continuously, the scenery on the ground remained the sa, only the sky seed to be dyed a yellow-green by that kind of green smoke.
After flying for minutes, just as Austin was about to turn back, suddenly a huge shadow appeared on the ground ahead, vaguely, one zombie beast after another, zombie beastn were either carrying rocks or giant logs, heading towards that shadow.
"Huh, what is that over there!"
Seeing that scene, Austin's eyes lit up, flapping his wings, he hurriedly flew towards that shadow.
Monts later, that shadow was already in sight,
it was a colossal pyramid building, with a tower body over a thousand ters tall standing on the distant horizon like a huge hill, one figure after another like ants, densely packed, constructing around it. From Austin's high altitude angle, it looked like a large group of ants building their ho.
And those construction teams, indeed, were zombies with half of their bodies already rotted and empty eyes!
These brainless zombies of various kinds were actually being driven by so mysterious existence to build such a gigantic pyramid!
"What is going on here?"
Staring at such a bizarre sight, Austin suddenly felt a wave of dread.
What kind of power is manipulating all this behind the scenes!
Since when can zombies be driven?
Looking at the distant zombies carrying building materials in an orderly manner, the massive pyramid under construction, and the four enormous sky-reaching pillars around it, with strange and mysterious carvings, Austin suddenly felt a sense of a gigantic conspiracy rolling out of the darkness, as a massive black hand seed ready to envelop the entire world.
Just as Austin fell into idle speculation, suddenly, a great danger, a great horror, causing his whole dragon body to shudder enveloped his mind, all his body hair stood on end, and his heart seed to plunge straight into an abyss.
Buzz!!!
Then he saw on the pyramid's top, a circle of blue light visible to the naked eye rippling out from the void, transforming into a massive sweeping shock fan, a dazzling ball of blue light unknown as to when it had condensed, shot out instantaneously a sky-reaching blue light column, as if it shattered space, appearing instantly before Austin. ᴛʜɪs ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀ ɪs ᴜᴘᴅᴀᴛᴇ ʙʏ novel⚑fire
In the critical mont, Austin only just managed to twist his body, majestic light brushed past him, that feeling of being like ice piercing the depths instantly made him feel as if he was staring into the abyss of death.
Boom boom boom!!!
Amidst earth-shattering loud sounds, the entire world seed to fall into violent tremors, massive explosions bood, amidst the blinding blue light, a mushroom cloud reaching the sky rose up, rising up into the cloudless sky, simultaneously a terrible shockwave swept past, large patches of soil were flung into the air by the airstream, ascending skyward.
Austin only felt as though he was caught in a torrent, his body swayed unstably in the chaotic flow, yet he saw a mountain range thousands of ters behind him directly blasted out into a huge pit.
Austin dared not linger any longer, his body sped away, flying at a speed surpassing his capabilities into the distance, disappearing in the blink of an eye.
Yet the unknown enemy atop the pyramid, for so reason, did not pursue him, the bluish-glow at the pyramid top quickly dissipated, the land once again fell into silence, as the surrounding zombies continued to work, even the prior massive explosion had not caused any pause.
...
A mont later, the disheveled Austin, having fled hundreds of miles away, finally stopped with lingering fear, landing atop a mountain peak.
"Damn it, what on earth is that pyramid! What are they building it for? What's with this zombie virus?!"
Austin instinctively felt that everything would not be that simple.
These zombie creatures possibly were so unknown things created to destroy the world, and simultaneously they enslaved masses of living beings as tools to build the pyramid, furthermore that pyramid under construction perhaps isn't even the end of all this.
It's very possible that there are more than one pyramid under construction further to the west, and why are they building these pyramids, aside from unleashing that level of terrifying attacks, are there other functions?
Regarding this, Austin knew nothing.
But he was certain, inside it might hold a greater conspiracy.
"The top tribal alliances on the border must know sothing, after returning, I must find a chance to see if I can contact them!"
When Austin was scouting before, he found that the power of the horde corroding the land wasn't much, with the strength of the Dragon Nest Tribe, it wasn't necessarily impossible to stop them, but now it seems, things are far from being easily resolved as imagined, at least that mysterious pyramid isn't sothing he can handle now.
Only taking a distant glance, he was nearly obliterated to dust.
The life-treasuring Austin now was having second thoughts.
"No wonder those large tribal alliances constantly flee to the human world, no, I must prepare a route of retreat."
With a gloomy mind, taking a deep look at the pyramid's location, Austin directly flew away.

At the sa ti in the copper ore base.
With the extensive comncent of copper refining work, the copper ore base was now thriving, high furnaces stood on the hillside flatlands, a large number of kobolds were mining in the field, extracting pieces of copper ore to be transported to the slting site and poured into the high furnaces.
Inside the high furnaces, heat blazed fiercely, with copper slurry flowing out, molded into earthen patterns, every day a large number of weapons and tools were ford and transported to the Dragon Nest Tribe.
