Zzz....
Inside the Dragon’s Nest, a gigantic shadow nearly filled the entire space. Arcs of electric sparks blossod, tearing through the darkness with blinding light, and a piercing noise spread like the chirping of thousands of birds.
Electric light wove through the air, forming rings that hovered around Austin’s body, rising and falling, while fine streaks of electricity danced between the azure scales, stimulating cellular growth at a microscopic level, resulting in mysterious and profound transformations.
From a distance, it seed like a giant beast controlling the thunder and lightning, lurking within the shadows, harboring an unimaginably terrifying thunder power.
"Roar... Seems like it’s already at the limit...."
After a long ti, Austin ceased the electric stimulation around him and let out a low growl, secretly pondering in his heart.
Previously, using electric stimulation on his body, he could vaguely feel physical growth and the changes in Magic Power, but now it seed to have reached a bottleneck. Despite continuous days of electrical stimulation, there was no noticeable change.
It’s like reaching a limit where no amount of training leads to growth.
"Oh well, it’s not bad as it is now." Below the Gold level, one can still stimulate growth through electricity, but after reaching Gold, it seems to touch upon certain domains not easily surpassed by re cellular growth.
To have grown so swiftly within two or three years with this cheat-like speed is a great gain. Even if there’s no such fortune in the future, Austin feels he’s already profited and sees no cause for regret.
"However, perhaps electric stimulation is one reason for quick growth; my soul might be another."
Austin pondered silently in his heart,
Electricity can activate the Magic Power within magic stones, and through the inherent Authority of the giant dragon, it can activate the Extraordinary Seed in a common beastman, making them an Extraordinary Ability User. Thus, it’s not implausible for electricity to kindle the dormant Magic Power inside a giant dragon, significantly stimulating cellular growth.
Yet, if simple electricity could make a young dragon grow, this thod would have been widespread among adult dragons over the millennia. But in Austin’s dragon inheritance, there’s no information on this, suggesting he might be an exception—perhaps due to the strength of his soul.
Of course, it might also be because dragons are naturally lazy. Given their innate advantage, being Legendary as adults, there’s no need to train during youth. Even being a slacker dragon, reaching a certain level leads to Legendary. Why strive, thus never discovering this secret?
"Forget it, these aren’t things I can delve into now; I’ll ponder it if I can understand it later."
Quickly, Austin set aside these many thoughts.
Though faced with a bottleneck and unable to break through quickly, Austin wasn’t anxious.
After his slumber, his strength had transford dramatically. If facing Grom the grizzly bear from a month ago, there’s no need to use the electromagnetic cannon to crush him.
This is the dragon’s advantage; challenging above their class is one of the talents a dragon possesses as part of its Legendary Bloodline.
Besides, growth will naturally lead to breakthroughs in due ti, so there’s no need to rush.
....
After a few days of secluded cultivation outside the Dragon’s Nest, the passing cold front had mostly worn out. In the next three months, the whole world would fall into a cold, snowy landscape, covered entirely by ice and snow.
But no matter how cold, it wouldn’t be like the lethal chill occasionally falling from thousands of ters high during the onset of the cold winter.
As ti passed, various ferocious hunters like ferocious beasts and giant beasts that hadn’t prepared for the cold winter would begin to roam the icy land, making it extrely dangerous. However, for the current Dragon Nest Tribe, it wasn’t much of a concern. At least those fierce hunters couldn’t amount to anything before the colorless Death God, which they couldn’t possibly withstand.
During this ti, Austin also continued his copper refining work.
If they could produce copper artifacts, it would an the Dragon Nest Tribe officially entering the tal Age, significantly improving work efficiency compared to the previous Stone Tool Age.
Not to ntion if the Dragon Nest Legion could be clad in Copper Armor with bronze weapons, their strength could increase by several tis. Just the production of various bronze tools, like copper sickles, axes, hoes, and bronze plows, would greatly advance the Dragon Nest Tribe’s various reclamation and production work.
It’s important to note that the Dragon Nest Tribe still relied on a mix of stone and wooden tools. Even if the wooden spears were made from tough materials, wooden tools lack the durability of stone or tal, especially hunting wooden spears, which would often be scrapped in one expedition, keeping the Goblin Manufacturing Workshop at full production capacity.
As for Stone Tools, never mind the difficulty in crafting them, a stone hoe could chip when it hits a rock in the soil, greatly hindering production efficiency. Furthermore, stone tools are hard to manufacture, accounting for a minimal portion of the Dragon Nest Tribe’s equipnt.
Though several iron weapons were captured in battles, they aren’t much use for daily production in the Dragon Nest Tribe. Maintenance of iron weapons is also an issue in the tropical rainforest climate of the Kawa Great Forest.
If they could independently produce bronze, it would massively boost the Dragon Nest Tribe’s production and combat capabilities, marking an overall transition from the Stone Tool to tal Age.
This is one of the reasons Austin took charge of this project personally.
Of course, the most crucial reason remains that, aside from Austin himself, no one in the Dragon Nest Tribe knows how to refine copper....
Of course, Austin didn’t know how to refine copper either.
In his past life, he once saw a video online where an expert slted iron in the wild with bare hands, a process that was so stunning that he vaguely rembered so steps.
Though refining copper isn’t the sa as refining iron, both are tals, so they should be similar, right?
