Boom!

At this mont, within the Dragon Nest Tribe, as the rcenaries continued to set fires everywhere, scorching flas rose up and gradually spread out.

"Damn, what the hell is going on?!"

rcenary Deputy Captain Murphy looked at his teammates who were running around setting fires, his face sowhat grim.

These houses were primarily brick and wood structures, and from the beginning, there were considerations for potential disasters like fires, with preventative asures like spacing taken care of.

What Murphy didn’t know was that the Dragon Nest Tribe designed it this way precisely because during a particular attack on a Centaur Tribe, the Fox-faced Man Quik had used a Fla Burst Technique that resulted in a massive fire, causing the entire Centaur Tribe to collapse, allowing the Dragon Nest Tribe to win that war easily, which led to the formation of their cavalry units.

From that battle, Austin saw the weaknesses in wooden and grassy structures, and upon returning to the tribe, he specifically instructed the Goblin Manufacturing Workshop to produce large quantities of bricks for the purpose of updating the construction of the Dragon Nest Tribe’s houses, and also to implent fire prevention asures in daily life.

It was precisely these arrangents laid out back then that made Murphy and the other rcenaries’ fire-starting efforts encounter unprecedented difficulty. It took considerable ti to barely ignite a single house, but the isolated spacing made it hard for the flas to spread.

"Damn it, we have to continue!"

Gazing at the house behind him, with barely a few flas and smoke rising, Murphy felt a heavy oppressive feeling in his chest.

But even knowing that the longer they delayed, the more dangerous it beca, there was no choice but to risk setting fires to cause greater chaos.

...

At the sa ti, at the City Hall.

Bang!

Accompanied by the loud noise, the sound of wooden spears breaking ca, and the spears in the hands of the young Beastn rushing forward were directly shattered, with several figures being blown away.

The difference in combat strength was indeed too great!

These young Beastn, though trained, had bodies that had not fully grown, with strength even less than half of that of adult Beastn. Yet their opponents were truly battle-hardened extraordinary rcenary professionals, and the elite kind at that. How could these young Beastn possibly withstand them?

In no ti, the young Beastn team was easily defeated by two people. As fighting qi surged, everyone standing fell to the ground, the whole scene as effortlessly destructive as breaking dead wood.

However, when Brown and Blake had knocked down the young Beastn in front of them, they suddenly heard heavy breathing, as a single figure swayed and stood up again.

Among all the wounded on the ground, only that single figure rose once more.

"Even if I must stake my life, I... must not retreat!"

The broken wooden spear was heavily thrust upside down into the ground, and leveraging that force, the teetering figure of ng Bi suddenly stood firm, his bloodshot eyes fixed intently on Brown and Blake ahead.

Behind him lay the great His Highness Austin, who had granted them new life, and his sister!

No matter what, he could not fall!

In that mont, an indomitable will sohow supported that battered body, and ng Bi, leaning on the broken wooden spear, stood up once more.

Drip, drip...

Drip by drip, crimson blood dripped from the gaping wounds on his body, with the deeply torn wounds even revealing the white bones underneath, his whole body drenched in blood. The excruciating pain surged through every muscle in his body like a tsunami, almost engulfing him entirely, yet in that powerful will was like a reef that remained unmoved.

Such injuries should not have allowed him to stand again, but ng Bi had done it.

He dragged his shattered body and stood up once more, once again blocking their path!

He absolutely could not let them pass through here!

That unprecedented resolve completely took over his body, causing the nearly shattered young Beastman to stand up again from the brink of death.

"What?!!!"

Confronted with this scene, even Brown and Blake were shaken by ng Bi’s insane and resolute will.

In their rcenary careers, their hands had been stained with no small amount of lives, yet this was the first ti they’d seen a yet-to-co-of-age Beastman defeated once and stand up again with such unyielding force of will!

"Kid, do you really want to die so much?"

Brown, wielding the wolf fang club, looked at the jackal Beastman ng Bi who stood before him with incredible willpower, his voice low.

What kind of willpower could it possibly take for a young Beastman to endure and stand before them with such a broken body!

But,

Though the will was shocking, they were not saintly soft-hearted people.

There were always enemies one couldn’t surpass in this world, and in reality, youthful passion didn’t always lead to success.

Brown raised the wolf fang club high above, casting a shadow that enveloped ng Bi’s entire body, clearly about to smash his head in the next mont.

Just at this mont,

"I will bet my life with you!!!"

Blood oozed from his skin, dyeing ng Bi’s fur a deep red, his broken left hand hanging powerless, yet those blood-colored eyes were filled with sheer madness and ferocity.

In the next instant, a wave of invisible majesty suddenly surged from ng Bi’s blood red pupils, causing Brown to be montarily stunned.

In the brief mont of Brown’s stupor, ng Bi moved, darting forward like a cheetah, transforming into a blood-red shadow that leapt onto Brown.

Roar!!!

With a mad howl, ng Bi opened his mouth, fiercely biting towards Brown’s neck, yet Brown was, after all, a battle-hardened elite rcenary, instinctively dodging at the mont he sensed danger, leaving ng Bi to bite his shoulder, tearing off a large chunk of flesh.

"Ah!!!"

Brown cried out in pain, instinctively swinging his arm wildly, but ng Bi clung like a maddened dog, his jaws locked on tight.

At the sa ti, ng Bi thrust the broken spear fiercely into his own dangling left arm.

Splatter!

Blood spurted out, with the broken spear piercing through his thin arm, and subsequently embedding into Brown’s shoulder.

He intended to use such self-mutilation to secure himself to the enemy!

"Ah! Bastard!"

Brown roared in anger, his fighting qi burst forth, sending the spear that skewered ng Bi’s arm and pierced his shoulder flying, while a raging torrent of energy blasted out, imdiately sending the heavily scarred ng Bi flying, and kicked him in the stomach, causing ng Bi to crash backward like a cannonball.
